I think Two and a Half Men and Family Guy are my two favorite current comedy sitcoms still. South Park climbed back up to #3

I've been watching a show called "Party Down" which has been pretty funny. It's about some wannabee actors who are caterers as their day job. It kinda has that "Supporting Assholes From 40-Year-Old Virgin humour", except good.
"Dollhouse" got a lot better after stinking up the joint the first few episodes. I only mention it because it would be a funny wrestling angle: Mike Knox gets mindwiped and plays a different personality every week.
For the other Brits on the board, I'd recommend checking out Charlie Brooker's "Newswipe". It's funny and makes you think. I think the previous episodes are on youtube.

When is that on, V?
That vid that you posted pretty much explains why I hate subjecting myself to any news. The first minute or so I thought it was going to be one of those smarmy, sarcastic and oh so witty and funny political satires, like the Daily Show, for example. Thankfully, it did seem to be more substantial in providing well thought out opinions and theories, instead of being nothing more than mockery.
About TV in general though, other than WWE shows I'm not really watching any TV right now. I've not even been bothered with watching any sports like Football. I did watch the last couple of holes of the Masters the other night. I should have bet some money on it because I tipped Cabrera to win at the start of the day.

Wednesday nights at 10.30 pm. On BBC 4.
I don't know how good your internets are, but the BBC i-player usually has the episodes up for 7 days after airing.

Cool. I always forget about BBC i-player and other web streams.
Also, it seems that "2 and a half men" program is on quite a lot but I've never watched it.

definitely catch it if you get a chance. It's one of those shows that definitely gets better once you get to know the characters. Once you get to know the characters to the point where they are like distant cousins, you appreciate the shit out of the storylines. It's seriously IMO one of the best comedy sitcoms ever.

I've kicked Deal or no Deal. That Newswipe show was a good recommendation V, so thanks for that. However, I would have preferred prior warning of possible balls dangling in the toilet seat full frontal male scrotal nudity. I was eating when watching that.

I'd never heard of him before you mentioned it. I caught up with the Newswipe episodes and they are funny. It's a little like TV Burp, only mainly about the news and media. I found a youtube page and this guy seems to have all the episodes to everything he has done. Here it is if you want to check any of it out. I've been familiar with his stuff for a while now. I used to have a book called "TV Go Home" which was a satirical TV guide. Used to be a web/magazine column, I think it's still on the web if you google it.

I hope you didn't just chuck that book out when cleaning up or something. I just checked Amazon and there are people selling it starting at £70.00!

How strange. It's funny and all but I wouldn't go out of my way to jizz £70 on it, even if I had JBL money.
And yes, I do still have it after all.

Yeah, it's a fun little show. The guy with glasses is the most convincing douchebag... remembers CM Punk... 2nd most convincing douchebag I've seen in a while. It's like he's a composite of a bunch of people I used to know. Sadly. And Lizzie Kaplan makes me happy in my pants. I think I'm making her my #1 Hollywood geisha. Lucky thing.
