Did any of you guys watch the Sopranos? If not then I recommend it, it's really good. I'm not really a fan of the "mafia" or "gangster" genres, but that's only the backdrop for the Sopranos. I think many similar films like Goodfellas, Casino and Scarface (really hated it) are over-rated, but the Sopranos just seems to tick all the right boxes constantly and brings in so much more content and drama than anything other TV show I've ever seen.

See I thought Sopranos was overrated but I loved Goodfellas.

That's a show I never search for on tv but if I pass it by while changing the channel, somehow I end up watching the whole show. It's one of those shows where I'm almost ready to change the channel the entire time but I just don't. It's the constant anticipation. Then the commercial break comes on and I think, I just want to see what's going to happen after the break". Next thing you know the show's over

I've seen a couple of clips of the U.S. version and it looks vastly different from ours. What I like about ours is that it is regular people involved in every aspect of the game and they go through a range of emotions together. From what I've seen of the U.S. game it's all razzmatazz and fake bleached models. I couldn't be doing with that.

I think what little I've seen made me think it was just plain stupid.

The game itself is, it's pure luck, plain and simple.

Its not on TV anymore (and probably hasn't been for 10 years) but if you see Mr. Show with Bob and David (Bob Odinkirk and David Cross) on DVD for cheap definitely pick it up. I think it was the funniest show ever. It was a sketch show where one sketch was live then the next was taped then live etc. And each sketch leads into the next one. Its weird to explain. It was on HBO so they got away with a lot.
Fun fact though. Maynard Keenan from Tool was all over the first season of this show just hard to pick out. Like quick pick him out in this sketch.
