Have you heard? It happens.
It finally happens. I haven't read any spoilers but I really hope that is the end of it. If Dixie shows up the following week in a neck brace I might have to tap out too.

The shows in New York the last few weeks haven't been terrible or anything, but I can't shake the feeling that TNA is on its knees and is just reverting to trying anything that worked in the past and hoping it is going to work again in the present. They did The Hardys v The Dudleys this week but it just felt like a meaningless exhibition for nostalgia's sake. It was OK, but the show has felt more like a tribute show the last little while instead of a show that is going somewhere new and exciting.

You nailed it MS. The NY shows are basically glorified tribute shows with IMPACT shown in the title. This is why I can't get behind Tna anymore. I watched last weeks show and some of this weeks. I just can't get past the fact that they will dig up anything for a quick fix. What they need to do is get back to basics and invest in certain guys and storylines that are not fucking power struggle related. It's like they're stuck on the same fucking idea that flopped over and over. You know what the definition of insanity is? Making the same mistake over and over and over and expecting different results

Bully Ray was on JRs podcast and he made a really interesting point about TNA.They have all these great players on TV, and no one listens to them, and no one is really in charge of direction. They are all just going to sink a bunch of people's careers because TNA is to stupid to figure out how chain of command works.

Bully is 100% right! It's not like tna is filled with a bunch of talentless hacks. Granted, their jobbers are probably worse than WWE's jobbers but they do have a handful of guys that know what they're doing out there. The problem is, they're are all just a bunch of GUYS and that is their personas, guys that just walk on the planet and know how to wrestle. Tna has no idea how to really distinguish one character from another and put them in angles that's going to allow that character to grow. A lot of them have the workrate and competence to do what they have to do. But there is no true leadership

It also feels there are like 4 directions they want to go in. That isn't good. They need to choose one. What they should do if they get re-upped is do what brought them to the dance in the first place. Beef up the Knock Outs and X-Division. Push the fuck out of there own guys like Storm, Roode and Young, basically anyone but Bobby and MVP. But most of all, keep one fucking direction, not 3 or 4. I can see 2 directions, one for the dudes and one for the KOs.

At least they actually finished off his big angle before he left.

So TNA had a 6-man cage match end in a tie this week.
sigh
On the other hand, Angelina and Gail put on a good little match, and I was again struck by how GREAT MVP is as Lashley's mouthpiece. Which just makes me ask again - why didn't they bring him in like this in the first place?
All those replays of the powerbomb during Dixie's amusing bedside update made me notice that she kinda bounced on her shoulders on impact. That really must have hurt. Also the obligatory supervillainish "you haven't seen the last of Dixie Carter" made me wonder if they'll turn the threat of cancellation into an angle with Dixie being the evil mastermind behind it. I know that sentence I just wrote makes no sense whatsoever, but this is TNA we are talking about.

Yeah, that powerbomb Dixie took did actually look like it hurt. Bully broke the table with his flying ass but Dixie just landed flat on her back. She essentially took a top rope sit-down powerbomb without the usual support of the other persons legs and the table cushioning the fall. To give them some credit, Bully Ray was one of just a few veteran wrestlers who actually improved in TNA. ![](http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a134/RandyMarsh/vincenwo.jpg) something like that?

Can you believe that angle was over 12 years ago now? Where does the time go?
But yeah, I can imagine Dixie cutting a crappy promo where she says she isn't going to let some network honcho kill HER creation. She's going to kill it herself with a lethal dose of doing the same thing as usual.

I knew they had filmed "a few shows" in New York, but it feels like they have been there for about three months now. Knowing that Bully Ray is now finished with TNA, I'm getting the bad feeling that Dixie comes back during one of these shows and has him powerbombed into oblivion. That'll suck. And it will be the start of her plan to destroy her own company maybe? Ugh, I'm not feeling optimistic about this.
Also, why do I get the feeling Eric Young is turning heel next week? Well, maybe not, seeing as the champion is a heel. So a face turning heel, to then take on a heel won't make sense...

So what you are saying is, expect to see Eric Young turn heel. Lol
It's funny, if I watch a few episodes of impacts, then miss a week or two, then watch an episode, it's as if I missed two months. Everything is all over the fucking place you can't even stay invested in anything

It's funny, if I watch a few episodes of impacts, then miss a week or two, then watch an episode, it's as if I missed two months. Everything is all over the fucking place you can't even stay invested in anything It's only seeing the timestamp on my last post in this thread that reminds me how many episodes I've actually missed. 2 by the looks of it. So I can see James Storm and Sanada have kidnapped Manik, Samuel Shaw has blonde bimbos after him and Bobby Roode is now a pandering face. And I think to myself "oh right, that must have happened". Have I mentioned recently that TNA might have been stupid in the last few weeks? Because TNA might have been stupid in the last few weeks. Because this is Wrestling, but more to the point, because this is TNA, as soon as Soldier Boy came out I was thinking "how long before he turns heel and pledges his allegiance to Putin" Speaking of Roode, I thought he was going somewhere with his "Lashley has no fear" bit... only for him to pull out the old "my love of the business trumps that" card. I hate it when they have guys do that. This is supposed to be a fake fucking sport, but this is TNA, which is a TV show about a wrestling company, and people are just thrilled to be a part of it. Makes even less sense given Roode's character the last few years. Rebel's ass > Velvet's ass. Rebel didn't look too graceful in the ring though. I was going to make a joke about how many of the girls in that calendar are still going to be in the company when their month comes round, but they've already fired ODB. The fact TNA has a 2015 calendar at all amuses me a lot. I have got to say, the actual quality - and quantity - of wrestling on this show was far superior to those shows I was still watching early in the year.
