You will definitely be able to hear about 6 more of them before the month is over. We're just finishing up guitars. I have one more song and 2 solos and we're done. Then my singer has to do vocals for 4 of them. "The Liar" is finished. We just haven't mastered it yet because we want to finish all guitars first. We'll finally release those and then we're recording 4 new ones.
My singer wants to add the new 4 all on the same disc with the 11 we're finishing up and make a 15 song disc. I do NOT want to do that. We won't finish til fuckin October. It's too much. We got 11 solid tracks as is. We need the exposure NOW. He thinks too grandiose sometimes to the point where it doesn't make sense. If anything I think we should put those 4 new ones on a second disc. I'm actually going to talk to him about that today because if he wants to wait to record 4 more til we release a cd I'm going to blow my brains out
Good news is we have a guitarist coming in today. My drummer and singer jammed with him and they said he plays like I do on the 3 songs we redid rhythms for. So hopefully he'll come in and show my current guitarist a thing or two and take the fuckin load off of me

I got 2 new remixes in my hand. I still don't know how the fuck to upload them! That's my biggest problem with this shit. If you go to reverbnation(I know Naitch has been there) we redid the Liar. You have to hear my guitar work on that one. I did some Randy Rhodes and Toni Iommi shit on that. I have a total of 7 on disc at the moment. 5 are majorly mixed and two need vocals still. We're recording those 4 new ones next week ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Not that I don't want to. I just want to get the other ones out NOW! Good thing I'm pushing for them to be released or we'd probably wait for the whole album. I'm pushing for the singles more than anyone

Awesome dude! Check out these chains! www.reverbnation.com/#/karasceneThat's not even the good part! We're signing a distribution deal to Universal records tomorrow! My singer met with the A&R guys today. They're going to endorse us with our own equipment with sponsers and we're going to be heard WORLD WIDE! They're even talking about giving us medical! We're on our fuckin way finally!

"These Chains" is pretty damn catchy. Nice job. I really like "The Liar" too (don't think I've heard that one before???). It sounds like an epic last-track-on-the-album kind of song, although it cuts out at 3:30 on that site. Is it meant to be longer? Anyway, congrats on getting the deal. You'll be supporting Katy Perry in huge stadiums in no time!

Anyway, congrats on getting the deal. You'll be supporting Katy Perry in huge stadiums in no time! I was thinking he would be supporting that Justin Bieber fellow all the teen girls love. These Chains sounds like a decent album opener to me. Just because of the opening guitars. Most of the time the instruments make me think of pistons in a fast car. And thats cool. Also, you guys sure you want Lithium named Lithium? I mean because of this and all........

Where is Champ? Is he lying unconscious with a huge grin, surrounded by a pile of hookers already?

Not just yet. We have to have a lawyer and our manager work out little things. It shouldn't be a problem. It's just standard shit to make sure you have in writing. But thanks!
Did it say we had a show? We have a show this Friday on the 30th in Manhattan. It's another shitty one. But the 7th, 14th, and 21st are going to be great
Thanks dude. That means a lot(all of you) because aside from the vocals and drums, it's all me on the tracks. Needless to say, my engineer is doing an awesome job mixing the songs. My engineer, singer, and myself have been producing it. So it's really the 3 of us that are making it sound the way it is. My drummer is a bastard behind the kit. That helped too!
And the Liar is about 5 minutes so it must have cut off. I rip a solo at the end too.
I've just had a lot of shit going on. I've been trying to make AA meetings every night and when I'm not there I'm doing something with the music, rehearsal for a show, recordings, etc.... During the day I've been at a program to keep me on track.

I bought a CD a couple of months back for the first time in a long time, but if your album is available here in the U.K. I'll make sure to get that too.
You should put a dedication to "Snitsky" in little booklet bit.

It actually SHOULD be available in the UK. Later this year, now that we're really moving along with the recording, it should be in stores around the world. We have 9 done and 5 need just need final mixing. We're recording 4 more Tuesday but we at least have an album's worth now. It depends on what they want us to release when the time comes.

The thing is, it's not an actual record deal because we're producing the record ourselves. So it's really up to us. That's why we're moving faster and harder than ever. It kicked my engineer in the ass to book more time with us too.
Once that's done, they're going to distribute the music worldwide because it's Universal Records that's distributing us. They're going to endorse us with much better gear for stage, sponsorship including Jagermeister, setting up REAL shows and not BS gigs in the city anymore, and the rest is up to the album sales and how much money we make. If we're successful, Universal Records has first dibs to sign us to an actual deal, but it doesn't rule out signing with, say Sony Records.
I found out it was Purgatory that got us the recognition for my singer to meet with the 2 A&R reps. They said they want to hear more. Good thing is we have a shit load of all different types of songs and we keep writing so throwing new songs at them is never a problem. I'm just not going to be impatient about this because I know how this works after all these years. We still need a lawyer to look it over so we don't do something stupid like the younger hungry bands and get locked into something where we get stuck. But it's just little things that shouldn't be an issue and the rest should be all good
