Thats some good points there. I was hoping your singers angry mouth didn't put a road block in your future when I said that. I've told you before and I still stand behind my statement that your one of the top five acts in New York.

Thanks a lot man. I'll tell you though, we're redoing guitars and vocals to all the new songs you heard. I just did the rhythm guitar parts to "Guide You". It sounds SICK! I used Zack Wylde Pickups through the same type amp Metallica used to record the black album. It's going to be so much better. The mix is already louder and heavier and we tweaked the drums too

No release date yet but were releasing singles on reverbnation(or one of those sites). The song I was talking about should be mixed Saturday. We're taking it one at a time. So by next week, I should have a link for you where you can hear the first newly mixed track.
Put it this way. I'm SUPER embarrassed of the other tracks now....and they weren't even that bad!

lol Actually dude, we're flying through the tracks now. Guide you is done and Purgatory is almost fully done and that was just in 2 short sessions.
All I can say is HOLY FUCKIN SHIT! I want to set on FIRE what we had before! It's so pale in comparison to what it sounds like now. How the hell can I get you guys to hear it? Seriously, you have to hear how this is coming out NOW. The guitars are SO heavy and my singer redid his vocals and went from sounding ok to great

We should actually have Guide You and Purgatory on Wednesday. If we're on a site we're they charge to buy the song, you can download it and we only charge $1 a song. I'll definitely keep you posted because I should have a link for those two in a few days.
I just heard the finished product of Purgatory. I'm really blown away by the production finally. I felt like I had to talk it up before and now I feel good about the results. Purgatory sounds almost like Iron Maiden got extra nasty. We really turned it more into hell than Purgatory lol.
Here's my one preview hint,
There's samples of screaming chicks and death voices in the song this time around. The chicks screaming are angels becoming whores. My singer told me that today

I just spoke to my guitarist. I'm bringing him the copy of the two songs redone(Guide You and Purgatory) to rehearsal tonight. He's going to upload them on his computer when he gets home, which will be about 9pm Est. I told him to text me as soon as the songs are up and I'll give you guys a link. You'll be able to hear them for free. Download purchases, as I mentioned, will only be $1 a song. So if you want to hear the best possible version(mastering and radio quality) you're better off just downloading it. If it were up to me, you guys would get songs and cds for free on me, but the site requires you to charge at least $0.99 a song.

Thanks man. I'm so happy with it now. The clarity is a million times better.
When we finished those songs. We put standbys on the old recording and the new one. We would play them simultaneously and press a button and it would standby one recording and play the other. Every time we hit the button and it jumped from the new recording to the old recording, we would look at each other and basically go, OMG we tried to release that! lol The difference is embarrassing!
It started with a drum triggering machine my engineer picked up. He got the drums to stand out so much in the mix as opposed to before, we just knew it need an overhaul. When you have the right gear usage for bass and drums on a recording, you can do anything with them in the mix. So we really just had to redo rhythm guitars and vocals. Every new guitar track you hear is only me. We also got my singer going through a much more expensive mic
