we're the only one on that bill with no tour going on lol. We have shows booked but we're still flying solo. But this is what we need to get dates like that

Maybe this show will get you a tour. You never know how these things work out.
Also, its never to late to make your sex tape for that future rebound that you may need.

we were talking about having our drummer play naked like in rockstar. Next thing you know, they were famous because of it

You guys should without a doubt dress the part. Dress bigger then the fans. Thats how Kiss made it so big and they fucking suck.

The night with Kittie and God Forbid, I'm going to do some crazy shit with my hair. It's like CM Punk long now so I'm going to wig it out and do something crazy with it. I got all my piercings back and and I might even pick up a wardrobe for that show. Like you said you have to be larger than the crowd

Heres an idea (and its just an idea feel free to tell me no). Tuxedos. Or Tuxedo Tshirts. But all matching. That way your kinda bigger but you have a sophisticated feel to you. I mean you guys already sound sophisticated musically.

Also if your playing close to Philly cover this song and you'll be over like gangbusters with the crowd.

My drummer is a walking stage performer. If you saw him in person, he has a shaved head with big sideburns, SLEEVED tats and play with his shirt off. He's already got the drummer look. So he needs no makeovers
My singer wears cool shit. Infact I'd like to raid his wardrobe, lol. He's going bald so he always goes up there with some rad hats. That's his thing and he wears jeans with all kinds of designs and studded belts. He's also got a buttload of tattoos. And he has the chin patch and two earrings.
I'm the long haired guy with the piercings and bandanas in the band. One of the reasons I grew my hair back is no one in the band had anything longer than a crew cut or buzz cut so I decided it would be me to grow it and be the long haired member. I like it long anyway. Plus, not bragging, I have the best hair and hairline in the band. So, I go up there with shirts with weird designs, a big metal skull cross chain around my neck and my eyebrow, lip and earrings. Plus I have 3 tats on my arms too. I also wrap a bandana around my thigh. It's just a bunch of shit I made up and I look distinct. So that's all that matters. Believe it or not, my Stone Cold "arrive, raise hell, and leave" shirt goes over well at shows too. People seem to love it. I figured out why too. If they don't know who stone cold is, they think it's a great shirt and logo for a metal rock band on stage. But if they DO know who Stone Cold is, they love the shirt because it's Stone Cold lol
NOW my guitarist fuckin goes up there looking like Opie. We've been giving him shit for 2 years now about his stage look. He goes up there, clean shaven, short parted haircut(sometimes he buzzes it down and it looks better like that) NO piercings, NO tattoos, and he just wears jeans and a t-shirt. One time he listened to us and bought a guns n roses shirt for a show. Then he started wearing it at EVERY show! We told him, DUDE grow a fuckin beard or goatee. Do SOME fuckin thing. Act the part. You ARE a performer afterall! Last show, he wore a really cool shirt but that's the most I've seen out of him. But he's been getting abused and he's slowly coming along

Holy shit!!! Our song "Pay The Toll" just jumped to 19 now on the local metal chart! Judas Priest is still at #1. And get this
on the global chart we debuted ahead of a slipknot song! They're at 490 and we're at 478. But that's just a song debut! We didn't even start moving up yet with that one! So if you guys can keep signing on and just press play for all 8 songs, it would do me a huge favor! It will take you no longer than 2 minutes. And make sure you became a fan of the band. This is awesome!!!

Champ, I don't think I've told you this yet. I'm very proud of you. When we started this board in 04/05 (whenever we did) you were just a shut in that lived with his parents. You were afraid to leave NYC. Now you look at you. Your traveling (at least to PA and thats a start) and your not talking about ex-girlfriends and what not. Your a good guy and I'm stoked to hear you guys on my radio soon.

I can't tell you HOW MUCH that means what you just said. Not to get all mushy about it but the truth is, not even my parents or friends have even pointed out how much progress I really made and actually told me they're proud of me because of it. It's more like they're kind of just saying, hey good job, just for the sake of saying it. Which is fine. I guess they expect more. But, the point is, it's like you're the first one that actually noticed how hard I've tried and the progress I've made, and I don't even think I really noticed it! That means a hell of a lot dude. Thank you so much. Really. The fact is,
You're right! I was afraid to get out of NY! I didn't want to play in bands anymore because I gave up on myself. If I was seeing this type of success developing in 05(playing a show with Kittie and God Forbid and climbing up national charts), I may have freaked out and backed out then. Now I'm excited! I think I needed to experience the years of self torment and fear before I could finally say fuck it. I believe going through that anxiety and depression is what made me feel more ready to move forward. But the thing is, I don't know what's more gratifying, that the fact that I could be facing success, or the fact that I'm actually excited about it and not afraid to take it on. Because that's what killed me for years.
It's funny you mentioned girlfriends too. I'm at the age now where my family expects me to at least have a serious girlfriend. I'm the only one that's over 18 in my family and single. I'm also the only one single out of my friends and band members. So I'm LITERALLY the only single one besides a female cousin who's 40. She's a cute girl too and looks my age. So people always say the same thing to us, "I can't understand it, you're both such good looking people(of course your family tells you that) with such great personalities, why can't you meet anyone?" We both have the same answer, "because we DON'T WANT to meet anyone!" lol She and I talk and say the same thing, if it comes along, it comes along, but when we go out we're sick of worrying about meeting people. We want to just go out, have fun with our friends, and go home to no spouse curfews or responsibilities. In other words, we're both totally content being single but no one seems to understand that for some reason. After Megan, I've had NO desire to be in a relationship. After I got over the heartbreak, the positives started to come through and I had no one to answer too anymore, and I've enjoyed it! If a relationship happens, cool. If not, I'm in no hurry. I'll tell you, the one thing I miss isn't even so much getting laid, it's having a warm body in my bed to press up against and give my sleeping boner something to poke against lol. For some reason, Daffney is the exact girl I want for that
But seriously dude, that really means a lot what you said. I can't tell you how much I appreciated hearing that because it really has been a really fucked up decade for me and I really am trying hard to make it all better. I also can't tell you guys how much this board has gotten me through bad times. I think that's why I always have so much to say. I get to focus on topics I love and take my mind of the negatives

LOL. Jesus Christ, you talk a lot! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I'm happy for you too, Champ. Just focus on enjoying your upcoming show because the majority of acts probably don't even achieve that much. Just enjoy it and see where it takes you guys.

yeah the business blows but it's all I got to move forward right now and it's at least all good for the moment.
I do talk a lot. it's like therapy or something. I'm so quiet at home. I have no one to talk to for the majority of the day. I can do without the phone most of the time. But I love typing
