Maybe I'm using my head too much with Becky. The way I see it, if they didn't give a shit about Becky they wouldn't have bothered putting her in the match in the first place. They gave her nothing, she got a break when injuries happened and she got over anyway. The Internet loves Sasha (I'm going to be honest, I know she was tearing it up in NXT, but based just on her main roster work I'm not seeing it), and she was spinning her wheels on the sidelines. Charlotte is a heel who had the Company push and has held the title for a while, usually screwing Becky over.
The story suggests Becky finally gets one over her more-vaunted rivals. She's the only real face in this battle. It would seem to be a fitting reward for her recent work too. Sasha getting to be in the match seems to be her reward - she'll doubtless get the Company push later in the year. Really, Becky needs it more than the other two to give her character credibility (even if she ends up jobbing the title to Sasha in a couple of months).
Even if you think what I've written is bollocks - is she really that much of a longshot?

No, I hear you. I think Becky is the correct choice to go over in this match. At 7-1 this is your chance to get that money you foolishly squandered on Kofi at the Rumble back. I think Becky has been the best of the NXT 3 so far. Charlotte had that dud of a feud with Paige and her current thing with Ric Flair as her manager isn't doing it for me. Sasha hasn't been bad, but she hasn't set the world on fire either. I think Becky has did the best with everything she has been given. Her matches are good and she is one of the few current wrestlers on the roster who can engage me with her promos. When Dolph Ziggler picks up a mic, I don't care, but when Becky has something to say I want to hear it. And like you said, she is the true face in this angle. She deserves to win.
Also, they are bringing back a Women's title belt. About time too.
Also, I really, really hope Eva Marie wins the other match for her team. She's gonna get heel heat Triple H can only dream of on Sunday night.

Dallas would even boo Steve Austin if he came out with Eva Marie.
Here's a funny thing Mastersnit. I put £2.50 on Becky at 7-1 last night, now she's only 5-1. I think I might be onto something here.
I also put £2.50 on a double - Becky & Big Show to win the Battle Royale. Seeing as Show is 16-1, that would return £340. My thinking here is that I just don't see Braun Strowman winning. I also remembered that Show jobbed to Strowman in the Rumble and he's a better price than Mark Henry or Bray.

Can't see it for Big Show. I read that Mark Henry is supposed to be retiring soon so maybe they will give him the win as a going away present. Not sure what they are planning for the Wyatts, but Strowman going over would make Bray look even worse than he already does. Harper is out for a while too.
OK, so here are my quick picks for the event.
Reigns beats Triple H. Vince and Shane get involved to help Reigns. Reigns beats the corporate champ and becomes the new corporate champ.
Shane beats the Undertaker. The cell might be a clown car by the end of the match if other people are going to get involved to help put the Undertaker away. Shane and Vince are conspiring against The Authority here.
Owens retains the IC title in the ladder match.
AJ beats Jericho.
Lesnar takes a bit of a beating from Ambrose but comes out the winner.
Becky submits Charlotte to win the Women's title.
New Day defeat L.O.N.
Kalisto beats Ryback.
Team BAD + Blonde beat the Total Divas.
Usos beat the Dudleys.
Mark Henry wins the Battle Royale.

I dunno, the Divas tag could go either way, but I would favour the Total Diva team. Either Brie pins Lana or Eva steals it from under her nose. John Cena is highly favoured by the bookermakers in the Battle Royale, by the way. lol. That fucker just can't stay away can he. I don't think that will happen, poor use of both Cena and the match. I think it will either be Mark or Bray, but I still like the price I got for Big Show. Do you remember when Sting turned heel in TNA but didn't really? When he was right all along about Hogan and Bischoff being up to no good? I wonder if they could do something like that here - have Cena interfere in the Cell match to help Undertaker fend off the legion of run-ins. Everyone will think Cena has joined the dark side. But eventually we'll find out that Shane was up to no good too. Otherwise I agree with all your other picks. Also who wants to bet it will be Reigns vs HHH at Backlash, this time Title vs Control of the Company? ![:-S](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wavey.png)

So I actually ended up watching a decent chunk of this last night, despite what I said a few posts ago. Mostly because I've got a couple days of work and I thought fuck it why not.
And... uh... yeah.
The women clearly had the best match on the show. Annoyed that Charlotte won. I don't think it is ever going to happen for Becky, I'm not sure what else she has to do. They all looked great but she was owning that match. I am sure there have been better women's matches on NXT, but given the ridiculous amount of pressure they were under to deliver (100k crowd, Mania, dawn of a new era, given lots of time) I think you would have to say this was the best WWE women's match ever.
The Cell match was a pile of shit with a stupid stunt. Maybe I'm getting old, but I really did not want to see Shane jump. And people cheering him to climb up there made me despair a little bit.
Otherwise lots of strange winners. Jericho beat AJ. Doesn't make sense to me, but after Sting jobbing to HHH nothing surprises me anymore. Ryder out of nowhere (he said he could retire tomorrow and he would be happy now - made me think he's jobbing that title on Raw). League of Nations beating New Day so they could look strong for the fossils. Oh, and I am officially over the Rock now. Him coming out and me realising there was still another hour left in the show was enough for me to go to bed. Now I read that they made the Wyatts look like clowns again.

It wasn't a great show. The main event was a turd of a match but we all knew it would be. I expected so much more from Lesnar vs Ambrose. Suplex City is getting old.
I was bored with the Rock taking an hour to mess around with a flamethrower, then annoyed when he stood there and repeated himself for another hour before making the Wyatts look like jabronis. They need to stop wheeling these same guys out every year and having them do nothing.
The ending and the winner ruined things a little for me, but the triple threat with the women was the best match of the night. The ladder match was also good.

Suplex City is getting old. It is getting rather silly, isn't it? Lesnar doesn't even wrestle any more it seems, he just throws a load of suplexs and an F5 or 2 and that's it because everyone else is shit apparently. I don't even think Ambrose should have won that match. But they were trying to sell that Lesnar didn't need any weapons, his hands were dangerous enough. Couldn't the story have been Ambrose put up enough of a fight that Lesnar caved and used weapons to soften Ambrose up, before f5ing him into the chairs?

Wrestlemania did feel like a hot mess this year. I enjoyed the ladder match but everything else was not good. One good thing that did happen from Mania though was they stringed together a couple of good Raws afterwords.

I've barely watched any WWE since WrestleMania. The disappointment has lingered longer than it usually does.
That match left the most sour taste in my mouth. I didn't expect Ambrose to win either, but I did expect him to frustrate and annoy Lesnar, and to batter him around a little with the weapons. Yet he didn't even use any of the weapons he had been collecting leading up to the match. And one F-5 onto a few chairs and that was it?
I've been thinking recently, Brock gets paid an awful lot and doesn't do very much for it. When they have Reigns go over him clean, and then maybe have someone else pin him soon after, the mystique might fade away quickly. Will they really need him the way they feel they need him now when he falls back into the pack with the other main event guys?

They're probably saving Lesnar for Reigns at Summerslam now, which I can understand, but they probably should have run this match by now. He's booked so far above everyone else - and for so long - hence we get an underwhelming match against Ambrose (a guy who is arguably their #2 face). If he was dominating wrestling matches it would be one thing, but all he does is throw a bunch of suplexes and calls it a night. They should be able to protect their talent better than that while still keeping as a monster for Reigns to conquer. It does seems like a lot of money and effort for that one big match.

And people are probably going to hate it anyway. It'll be like Hogan slamming Andre to a chorus of 93,000 boos.
