Am I the only dude watching MMA? I hope not. Anyways heres what already happened this year and whats coming up.
First event of the year: UFC 125: Resolution
Brad Tavares def Phil Baroni by TKO Dustin Poirier def Josh Grispi by DEC Jeremy Stephens def Marcus Davis by KO Clay Guida def Takanori Gomi by SUB Dong Hyun Kim def Nate Diaz by DEC Thiago Silva def Brandon Vera by DEC Brian Stann def Chris Leben by TKO Frankie Edgar drew Gray Maynard
Second event of the year was StrikeForce's Challengers 13 event. Giving a bunch of people new to the sport a chance. The results were:
Dr. Rhadi Ferguson def John Richard by SUB RD 2 Amanda Nunes def Julia Budd by KO RD 1 (14 seconds to be exact) Daniel Cormier def Devin Cole by DEC Ovince St. Preux def Abongo Humphrey by DEC Tyron Woodley def Tarec Saffiedine by DEC
Any fights you might want to look up: OSP vs Humphrey and Woodley vs Saffiedine were some damn good fights. Nunes vs Budd just for the HOLY SHIT THATS A 14 SECOND FIGHT factor.
Then UFC held UFC:Fight for the Troops 2 event. Results were:
Charlie Brenneman def Amilcar Alves by DEC Waylon Lowe def Willamy Freire by DEC Rani Yahya def Mike Brown by DEC DaMarques Johnson def Mike Guymon by SUB Yves Edwards def Cody McKenzie by SUB Matt Wiman def Cole Miller by DEC Pat Barry def Joey Beltran by DEC Mark Hominick def George Roop by TKO Matt Mitrione def Tim Hague by TKO Melvin Guillard def Evan Dunham by TKO
Fights to watch: Pat Berry vs Joey Beltran for a lesson in what several hard kicks to a leg can do to a person. Or to see how many times a person can be nailed in the face and still stand. Hominick vs Roop to see a one sided ass whooping that was very impressive.
Tonights StrikeForce Diaz vs Cyborg card.
Main card with predictions by Naitch.
Light Heavyweight Bout: Roger Gracie vs. Trevor Prangley: Gracie Heavyweight Bout: Herschel Walker vs. Scott Carson: Walker Strikeforce Middleweight Championship Bout: Ronaldo Souza vs. Robbie Lawler : Lawler Strikeforce Welterweight Championship Bout: Nick Diaz vs. Evangelista Santos: Diaz

StrikeForce: Diaz vs Cyborg results
Roger Gracie def Trevor Prangley by SUB Herschel Walker def Scott Carson by TKO Ronaldo Souza def Robbie Lawler by SUB Nick Diaz def Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos by SUB
A good event overall. If you get the chance to watch this and you have an hour to kill this is a good way to spend it. 4 fights in 1 hour is amazing considering they blocked off 3 hours on Showtime. Nick Diaz vs Cyborg was just fucking awesome. Watching Cyborgs wife cry made me laugh a little. I'd feel bad but shes an undefeated fighter.

I haven't been. But not by choice. I just got lost by accident
I hate Nick Diaz. He looks like a chimp

Middleweight and light heavyweight title fights are the only ones I'm familiar with. I really got lost
I agree with your prediction on those two. Franklin isn't beating Griffin. Maybe 5 years ago Franklin would've won
Silva is just an animal

Silva has set some damn record for most consecutive wins. I can't pick against that man. Did you see his last fight with Chael Sonnen?
I think Franklin might win this one Champ. Griffin hasn't fought since Anderson Silva embarrassed him last year.
Jones vs Bader I think will be the show stealer. Between the two of them there is only 1 loss. And Jones got that loss because he used an illegal elbow on Matt Hamill. Which I blame the ref for because he should have stopped that fight about 15 seconds before that elbow landed.
The welterweight fight, I'm not familiar with either guy. I picked Ellenberger because I've read his name before.
And all the rest of the guys are people the UFC brought in with the merger with WEC. The bantamweight fight should be crazy. And definitely catch Cerrone vs Kelly on Spike tv. Cerrone is one my Denver fighters and that dude plays to win every damn time hes out.

UFC 126 Results
Not shown fights:
Mike Pierce def Kenny Robertson TKO RD 2 Kyle Kingsbury def Ricardo Romero TKO RD 1 Paul Taylor def Gabe Ruediger KO RD 2
Facebook Fight
Demetrious Johnson def Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto DEC
My thoughts (MT for now on): Yamamoto was brought in to dominate the Bantamweight division. I bet Dana feels silly now.
SPIKE TV Fights
Chad Mendes def Michihiro Omigawa DEC
MT: Chad looked really good. Hes a hell of a striker.
Donald Cerrone def Paul Kelly SUB RD 2
MT: Kelly came of as an a$$hole. He went to touch gloves and the just punched Cerrone. I'm glad he got submitted.
PPV Fights
Miguel Torres def Antonio Banuelos DEC
MT: Torres had a good game plan and Banuelos looked scared to do anything.
Jake Elllenberger def Carlos Eduardo Rocha via Split DEC
MT: Exciting first round and then two rounds of wondering if these guys still knew they were in a fight. Ellenberger won but Rocha could have just as easily took rounds 2 and 3.
Jon Jones def Ryan Bader SUB RD 2
MT: Jones is the fucking man. He made Bader look like he was in his first fight again. He gets Rashad Evan's title shot next month. I hope he can get through the camp and beat Rua for the title.
Forrest Griffin def Rich Franklin DEC
-Griffins first fight in 14 months and I think Franklin lied to some people and came in injured. Despite all that those two put on a good show.
Anderson Silva def Vitor Belfort KO RD 1
-2:30 went by before anything happened. And when it happened Silva went down in history as the first person in combat sports to get a KO from a front kick.
Also, I went perfect for my predictions.

Tommorow nights StirkeForce: Fedor vs Silva
This is the beginning of the Heavyweight Grand Prix tournament. The first three fights are alternate fights in case a tournament guy gets injured and the last two fights are actual tournament fights. I'm a little unsure of the alt fights as I don't think I've seen these guys fight before. But I did do some research so I got predictions.
Valentijn Overeem vs. Ray Sefo (Sefo)
Chad Griggs vs. Gianpiero Villante (Griggs aka The Lashley Killer)
Shane Del Rosario vs. Lavar Johnson (Del Rosario)
Andrei Arlovski vs. Sergei Kharitonov (Kharitonov)
Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antonio Silva (Fedor, also my prediction to win the tournament)

You guys know I don't watch much MMA, but I do try to catch a Fedor fight when I can. I'll keep an eye out for this. Should be interesting to see as he actually lost in his last fight if I remember correctly. Can't bet against him. I don't know anything about Antonio Silva, but Fedor by K.O. regardless.

Fedor did lose his last fight. But he won 30 something before that. I doubt he'll win 30 more, but I don't see him losing tonight. Werdrum just happened to get a nice submission in at the exact right second in that last fight.
Silva is kinda slow and methodical. I think Fedor takes it by sub since thats what Fedor does to bigger opponents.

Brett Rogers was a big guy and Fedor damn near decapitated him, lol. I just hope he wins because he's a badass.

Brett Rogers was a big guy and Fedor damn near decapitated him, lol. I just hope he wins because he's a badass. I'm not saying Fedor can't win by KO, I just think he enjoys taking bigger men down and making them tap out. And Brett Rogers is also in the tourney, his side of the brackets aren't fighting tonight. I'm pretty sure hes just fodder for Josh Barnett though. And MS, if you want to see the craziest KO ever, check out Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort from last weekend.

Here are the results for Strikeforce: Fedor vs Silva.
Valentijn Overeem def Ray Sefo by SUB RD 1
MT: This was a very exciting fight while it lasted. Unfortunately it didn't last very long.
Chad Griggs def Gian Villante by TKO RD 1
-The Lashley killer strikes again. The dudes a beast.
Shane Del Rosario def Lavar Johnson by SUB RD 1
MT: Del Rosario is the real f'n deal. Watch out heavyweights.
Sergei Kharitonov def Andrei Arlovski by KO RD 1
MT: Arlovski needs to retire before he gets seriously hurt. The dudes chin has left.
Antonio Silva def Fedor Emelianenko by Doctor Stoppage
MT: Silva has improved big time. Fedor may have lost but anyone else would have been TKOd/or submitted long before the doctor stopped this one. AND HOLY SHIT FEDOR IS RETIRING! I don't think he should. He only has one real loss under his belt. Thats his choice I guess.
So Kharitonov takes on the winner of Barnett/Rogers and Silva takes on the winner of Werdum/Overeem. This will still be a pretty good tourney.

He basically put Steroid McNigger in his place. I wonder if he's just going to pop up on WWE again as shittier black Cena

He basically put Steroid Mcblacker in his place. I wonder if he's just going to pop up on WWE again as shittier black Cena You know what I love about you Champ? The last two fights of the night were opening round fights of the biggest MMA tourney in North American History, the best MMA fighter of all time announces his retirement, and you stick to your guns and and talk about the Lashley Killer. I was serious when I said I love you for that too. I hope this December Santa treats you real good. Coming up this Friday StirkeForce puts on another Challengers show. I'm not going to do a line up for it, because no one knows any of these people. Only person of note is Ryan Couture. And thats only because of a certain UFC fighter that happens to be his father. 8 days from that we have UFC 127: Penn vs Fitch. I'll make my picks next week for that. The PPV portion of the line up looks like BJ Penn vs Jon Fitch Michael Bisping vs Jorge Rivera George Sotiropoulus vs Dennis Siver Chris Lytle vs Brian Ebersole Kyle Noke vs Chris Camozzi Looks like a real skip of a PPV to me.
