So now that Aries has been on TNA for a couple weeks, I can see why WWE didn't let him on Tough Enough. If he was there, there is no way SILENT RAGE would have won.

I enjoyed Tough Enough when it was on, but looking back on it now I feel WWE probably had Andy pencilled in as the winner all along. Aries would have outshone every last one of them on that show. He's like a classic flamboyant 80s heel and I love it.

I think that's what I love about Aries. The guy really has a clue on how to play his role out there. For me, the biggest problem with a lot of the young guys these days is they seemingly have no influence from guys like Ted Dibiase(SR), Mr Perfect, and Rick Rude, just to name a few. The guys from the 80s were still the fucking best

He actually reminds me of The Rock in that regard.

Even when the old guys from the 80s come back to make appearances, their promo skills are still top notch. They really do leave the younger guys in the dust when it comes to being naturally charismatic and magnetic when they talk.
One thing I realised today. The commentators always mention that Gunner used to be in the army and he went around with some big ass gun. Is that why he is called Gunner? Dunno.

The 80s guys went all out with their gimmicks and lived the gimmicks. Too many guys today are trying to be themselves with an attitude. It only really works for Punk because Punk's real life persona is better for wrestling than any gimmick they could give him

It only really works for Punk because Punk's real life persona is better for wrestling than any gimmick they could give him I actually have to disagree with you on that. The only reason Punk is doing his shtick is because he appeals to a particular demographic that they are trying to revitalise. If he didn't have a cult following he'd be doing a bland gimmick like everyone else.

But Punk is known for have a big mouth backstage is what I meant. He really is kind of just being himself from what I hear. He is the guy to bring back the male demographic though.

This week's show didn't really do much for me.
D-Von gets injured and they are still there at ringside. Gah. Go away!
Anderson's return sucked.
Too much Samoa Joe.
The only good outcome of this Traci - Bischoff thing is if Traci is a fembot out to kill him. Maybe her boobs will crush his head when he dives in there.
It was pretty funny when that football player jobber got old-manned by Kid Kash.

D-Von gets injured and they are still there at ringside. Gah. Go away! Ha. Exactly what I thought too. Although you'd think with Morgan getting injured there'd be no more Morgan talking (-4). Anderson must have caught Zombieitis from Angelina. It'll wear off in a few weeks. Jarrett gurning about in the background during a boring Angle/Crimson promo duel made me laugh (4). Velvet tagging with ODB and Jackie was a conceptual clusterfuck, even with their half-assed attempt to explain it. Jackie even addressed the invisible cameraman, which I don't remember happening before. ODB giving Velvet a sarcastic thumbs up was funny though (4). I agree with MS that Kid Kash dicking around with Al Bundy Jr was good (2). Little Robbie and Big Robbie should be a fun tag team. Hogan claiming Impact is a family show was hilarious (4) even before Flair started cursing like a sailor three seconds later. Sting gaying it up with Hogan was awesome (4). Daniels gaying it up with AJ was not awesome (-4). Sarita and her magnficent ass (4) beat up Angelina Love and her terrible make-up. Tracy and her comedy tits whored herself for a shitty job (-4). From Bischoff (-4). She didn't offer to bang 20 men like Aksana did on Smackdown. It's a family show, see. Gunner killed Beer (or was it Money) with a locker and then WALKED AWAY rather than fucking pin him. Grahhh (-4). I want to see Mickie face Kurt Angle.

See, fuck "swerves" and "insane" storylines. Little things like that are what keep me watching
I marked when he called him a little prick
I just appreciated that Jarrett kept the continuity going by being uncomfortable around Kurt regardless of them possibly being on the same page. Normal TNA booking, Jarrett would've gotten in the ring like nothing ever happened between he and Kurt
Well said!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Gunner being stupid again. Beer was lying there like a big pile of seven points.
Steiner going mad at Bully Ray for trying to lift his weights was funny.
The much anticipated battle between Eric Young and that presumably famous guy was a bit of a let down. Hopefully Eric will be back next week getting a bit more air time.

Is Eric injured? This thing feels like it's been going on for months. The idea is better than the execution. If it was me writing this shit he'd be in a bar with the TV playing Impact and suddenly it would click... Bischoff is a TV star! Then EY comes back and kills Bischoff.

I like that.
I'm not sure if he is injured or not. For some reason they have never had Eric in many matches in all of his time with TNA.

I think EY is actually wrestling on Impact tomorrow or next Thursday, defending the tv title
I can't believe there was a time I couldn't stand Scott Steiner. The guy is so great.
WHATTYA DOIN?! AAAHHH ISS TOO LEATE! IT WORKS FA ME!
