It was a decent show this week.
Caveman Eric Young fooling Gunner was great.
Kendrick should have beaten Abyss, or at least put up a better showing. Reason being that he has been Reading Sun Tzu's Art of War since about 2008 and Abyss is new to his work. Poor showing from Kendrick.
Christy Hemme really sucks as an announcer.

Eric Young just may be my favorite guy in the company. The guy never has a dull moment

Yeah, I can never get enough of Eric Young. When he has a match there is never much commentary going on because Taz and Tenay just sit there snickering and trying not to laugh at him.

I found it funny that ODB was supposed to be kicking the shit out of Velvet, but at various points spanked her, stripped her, and then counted a phantom pinfall. Kind of a conceptual nightmare.
This being TNA, I fully expect Shelley to be turning on Beer Money and alligning with Immortal at the PPV.
I like what they're doing with Crimson. Hell, why not? The dude owned Matt Hardy, what's not to like? Also Joe came lumbering in just to get hit by a spear. Love it.
Angelina's zombie selling is hilarious. And Winter is awesome. Give the girl a stable, I say. Side note: the Victory Roll is a dumb finisher.
Eric Young beat Mr Anderson after Gunner interfered, apparently on Anderson's behalf. That's... some interesting booking. Perhaps we're building up to Eric Young vs Crimson at whatever TNA's equivalent to Wrestlemania is.
Kazarian is TNA's Kofi Kingston. I just can't be arsed.
Late-90s WCW beat Mid-00s WWE in the main event. Also, it wasn't Kurt Snitsky's fault that Karen fell down the stairs. She had no business interfering in that match, etc etc etc.
It seemed as though Bischoff was going to get owned by the envelope all through the show, only to emerge triumphant at the end of the show. TNA YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG
Also, no Sarita in skimpy attire for the 2nd week in a row, TNA you are doing it wrong

Velvet seems to be getting pwned every week. I think one of the writers (Russo) might have a creepy boner for her.

Yeah, my immediate thoughts also.

Joe's appearance time on the show this week was about 0.8% of Bischoff's appearance time.

I think Bound For Glory is their WrestleMania. Eric Young was good again this week and if he ends up in a main event title match, I'll be happy. On a side note, he must have gaybashed Orlando all the way back to San Francisco. I'm kinda glad, other that being a weirdo OJ kinda sucked and was maybe stifling Eric.
In under twelve minutes from the start of the show, Eric Young had already racked up five individual appearances. He totalled seven by the end of the show. Seriously...
There was a loud "We don't care" chant at him during the final segment. We'll probably get fourteen doses of Bischoff next week because of that.
Oh, also, on top of it all, the swerve sucked. Foley came in out of nowhere for like two weeks and he's fired already? All righty then.
Whoops - I edited this instead of just posting regularly.

It's especially dumb because the Network specifically hired the guy because Bischoff & Hogan suck at running wrestling promotions. Now they have a chat with Hogan and everything's a-okay? What? Why would Bischoff even need to be "served" with that information? They did something completely nonsensical at the start of the show for no other reason than to tee up a "shock" at the end. God, this company. I'm being completely serious when I say that they should have made Ms Tessmacher the network rep. She's someone else who should have an axe to grind but will never get revenge on Bischoff and Hogan.

Yeah, the fact that Bischoff was actually served that information makes my head hurt.

You know how the old saying goes,
TNA is stupid!
It's a good thing I actually like some of the characters and angles. Without their talent busting their asses TNA would suck donkey

Man, I wish that wasn't a mistake.
I'll probably watch this week's two hour slice of wrestling hilarity later on.

So Bischoff took credit last night for TNA being called Impact Wrestling now, stating that the Network "liked it". Ok, if I remember just 3 WEEKS AGO, didn't Foley inform BISCHOFF and HOGAN that the show was going to be called Impact via the decision by himself and the Network?
These are the type reasons I can't take TNA seriously
There's only 3 scenarios I can come up with,
A. Bischoff and the writers are REALLY dumb
B. They think the audience is REALLY dumb
C. They think it REALLY doesn't matter as long as they continue to "shock" and "swerve" us

Champ, unless I misheard something (which is entirely possible given how I drift in and out of these epic Bischoff/Hogan opens) I thought Bischoff was taking credit for something that wasn't his idea, like an asshole heel shoud do.
I think this was probably the best episode of Impact so far this year. I really enjoyed it.
People on screen are starting to point out how much Bischoff is on screen. Sting got to the point in the opening promo (wrestling matters): Hogan's okay, just get rid of Bischoff. Then during the tag match, Magnus wondered where he could find Bischoff. Taz: "they're easy to find". Magnus: "yeah, they're in the ring most of the time". That made me lol.
Hogan going to great lengths to emphasise that, without a doubt, there would be positively, absolutely, no interference in the PPV Main Event means... Hogan is going to interfere in the PPV Main Event and cost Sting the title, right?
Jarrett saying that Karen would absolutely, positively not be at the PPV means... Karen is going to come running down and cost Kurt his gold medal at the PPV, right?
I found it funny that they left the flag down during the Mexican America match, so that the people at the back couldn't see the match. Also MexAm getinng in Hogan's face and Hogan cutting a promo on them was fucking awesome. This thing has potential now. Just the idea of HULK HOGAN feuding with Anarqqia tickles me.
Bully Ray telling Kristy her Playboy cover sucked made me lol. Wrestlers bischoffing Open Challenges is always fun.
ODB "not officially being under contract" makes no sense. Oh well. Velvet is a violently unlikable babyface when she talks. Which is weird, because they actually book her really well in the ring.
In the Main Event of Wrestling Matters:
Gunner pinned Sting
Gunner pinned Sting
Gunner pinned Sting

Pretty inconsistent Impact
Yay-Sting, Gunner, Anderson's party, Aries Meh-Eric's comedy this week. Boo- anything involving the Pope and Dvon or ODB

I thought Eric's comedy was more than meh. I was fuckin rolling at that segment.
Eric: Matt this is your big opportunity for my tv title!
Morgan: what the hell are you talking about?
Eric: Come on Morgs! lol
Then later,
Eric: we're both big tv stars, Jason! Come on I've seen your work on the Wonder Years, WAYNE!
Sting was good too. It's so funny when Hogan gets made an such an ass out of. I think it's because he was the wrestling superman of the 80s and now he's behind a desk getting choked and paint smeared on his face.
I love Steiners promos.

Although ODB's all right. I could do without all the "pregnant doges" and "whores" though. Gunner is basically getting what Snitsky's push should have been. HE JUST LIKES TO HELP PEOPLE. Awesome. I find Austin Aries really funny for some reason. He looks like a hipster douchebag. A high-flying hipster douchebag! When Cena no-sells a bunch of offense and clobbers his opponent, it's gay. When Sarita does it it's awesome. I'm such a hypocrite, lol. Although to be fair, Velvet Sky / Tessmacher offense isn't going to hurt much. Velvet turned away from a TITLE MATCH... in the middle of a move!... to stare at ODB. What a fucking idiot. No wonder Tessmacher left her stupid ass to get beaten up.
