I liked this week's show.
I counted three Bischoff appearances this week, but thankfully they were only brief.
I'm liking the Gunner push. There is a little bit of a Snitsky in him.
Eric Young was hilarious as usual.
Seeing the past X-Division guys really highlighted for me how much they have fucked up that division for the past 3-4 years. I always liked Austin Aries and hope that he stays around. He actually tried out for the latest season of Tough Enough but they didn't want him. Apparently the likes of Frankenblackie had more potential.
The interaction with Hogan and Sting was really good.
I also liked the parking lot fight with Angle and Jarrett at the end. It seems they finished the feud for now but it wasn't very conclusive so it will probably start up again in a few months. I actually really enjoyed the feud, even though it seems to have been going on for years.

You forgot to mention how awesome/hot/etc Sarita was. Or maybe it goes without saying.
The only thing I didn't like about the Hogan and Sting thing was that Sting was calling him "Terry". I fucking hate it when wrestlers call each other by their real names.
Only TNA would have Jarrett and Angle fight four days after "the final battle". One of the (many) problems with this company is they fuck over their stips so much it's meaningless. Remember when Angle said he would quit if he didn't mow through the top 10 contenders (remember when they had a top 10 contenders list - LOL)? And then he quit? And then a couple months later Bischoff said Angle would never get his job back? And then 30 seconds after that Flair gave him his job back? Yeah, Jarrett will bugger off to Mexico for two episodes, come back in a mask as El Jarretto for two more episodes, and then be feuding with Sting as if nothing ever happened...

I usually don't like it either, but in this case, it seemed like it fit the storyline because it's getting to the point where Sting is trying to get through to Hogan on a really personal level now.
Now, if someone started calling Shawn Michaels or Michael Cole by their real first names in a storyline, THAT would piss me off. I guess with Hogan, we're supposed to know "Hulk" isn't really his first name lol and Sting got tired of reaching out to him by calling him "Hogan"

TNA does blur the line between wrestler and person or real life and scripted wrestling show quite a lot. I do agree with Champ here that calling Hogan "Terry" worked because Sting is trying to connect to him on a deeper level.
I'm wondering if this is heading towards Sting vs Hogan at Bound For Glory. Retirement/Leave the company type of match.

I think they are building a Hogan/Sting match. Hogan said he would like to get back in the ring 1 more time under the right circumstances because his back is feeling a lot better.
Good booking would be to have Hogan lose but I have a funny feeling he'll book himself to win anyway

I'm actually wondering if they're building to a Hulk vs Bischoff match. No, seriously. He's trying to convert Hulk, not challenge him to a fight. Meanwhile he's emphasising that Bischoff is a cancer.
It's a fair point. I still hate it though.
I mean, I know "Winter" isn't her real name either, you know? It would annoy me if someone started calling her (looks up wikipedia) Katarina.

Yeah It's weird. It's like we're supposed to believe Winter's first name really is Winter but we're supposed to know Hogan and Sting's real first names

I love crazy ass Joker Sting. He's so out of his mind but he's more charismatic because of it. If he's going to come out all crazy and destroy Bischoff and annoying Abyss, how can you not mark?
I loved Repoman's kid! I was actually pissed when he got pinned
Tessmacher is just so hot. I don't remember her being hot like that as a diva slut
Steiner is so funny.
Bully: Scott, join Immortal!
Scott: *throws the chain at the locker all pissed*....I'LL THINK ABOUT IT!
Morgan is really starting to annoy me. He's like a hokey dokey unintimidating 7 foot badass. I don't know how to put it.
I laughed when Samoa fatty got shafted. Daniels and AJ really are more X division history than Joe. Joe didn't give the X division balls. He was just an overpushed hoss that destroyed the X division and took their belt for a while.
Anderson won the belt and now he sucks.

My quick thoughts.
Fuck Gunner.
I can't wait for X-Division 3-Way part trace.
Eric Young gunning for Popeye and bad mouthing him was great.
Sting fucking up Bischoff is all good in my book, 7 days a week.
I love how much of a hypocrite Bully Ray is. Hes gotta be the second best heel on TV right now.
The Bound for Glory Series would be awesome if they didn't throw in guys like Brother D'von just for other people to obviously leech points off of.
Daniels just ignoring the shit out of Joe was funny.
Daniel's music sucks.
Beer Money vs Red Tall Guys was really good.
Mr. Anderson somehow suck more now then ever before.
Where are all the current X-Division guys? They aren't good enough to be on TV unless they are jockeying on AJ's nuts in Fourtune?

Couldn't agree more. Same here. Must be those shorts she's started wearing. That got a good laugh out of me too. Impact has been delivering lots of little details recently. How about "Morgan sucks". Will that do? I don't mind having a few no-hopers thrown in. I really like the idea too, but this being TNA I don't have a great deal of faith that they'll execute the idea in a satisfactory fashion. They'll probably end up doing something wacky or shocking or swervy at the finale to balls it all up. Yes. He's not quite at Smackdown circa '09 level of suck though. So you could see it as an improvement in that regard. One thing he did the other week that bugged me was do the "I only care about myself" spiel but gave a shout-out to his niece while he was doing it. Dumb. I think Impact is the best show out of the big three right now. They've got a lot of interesting ideas and feuds going on, even though they're bound to bischoff some of them. I can't wait to see Jarrett in Mexico, for example. That has comedy gold potential. One thing I didn't like was that they seemed to be going for the record for most times "b1tch" was said during a TV show. Everyone was doing it this week. Oh, and one thing that made me groan and roll my eyes was that the women's tag match happened without any sign of "Russo's creepy boner for Velvet" (c) Mastersnit... until the end... when Jackie kicked Velvet in the cunt. Really Russo? Really?

I liked this week's show.
You guys have covered pretty much everything. About Morgan, I've nothinged him for a while, he does just suck.
Samoa Joe must have really pissed the wrong people off, he's had no character development or sustained angles to work with for years now. The promo with Daniels and AJ seemed like a slap in the face. No doubt it will end up as a triple threat, and even though Joe has sucked for a long time now, I hope he does get added to the match because the matches between Joe, Daniels and AJ about five years ago were exhilarating.
Yet another week where Velvet can't just get pinned 1-2-3. If she's not being dragged half naked around the Impact zone with ODB's hand halfway up her crack, she's getting rochambeaud in the nuts.
Yeah, they usually b1tch a lot in TNA but this week they turned it up to 11.
I thought the idea of this tournament was to have everyone face one another in a singles match and the most consistent performer becomes the number one contender. What good are tag team matches if this is for a singles title? Won't some competitors gain unfair advantages depending on the type of matches they are involved in with the same points reward always at stake? Why am I even bothering?
Crazy Sting has been cool so far. Anderson should dress up as Batman to mess with him.
I never really liked Popeye so hopefully Eric Young finds him and beats his ass.
Repoman's kid seemed kinda faggy to me. Austin Aries better beat all of these guys.
I counted 3 Bischoff appearances this week. He starts the show by talking about how he runs, produces and stars in the show and that it's his show and whatever else he was saying. Won't this turd ever flush?
Typical TNA I guess that last week's show ends with Jarrett losing a "gone forever" match, yet the next show starts and he is the first guy we see. Not sure if it's stupid or funny.

The inequities of the schedule is balanced out by only needing to finish in 4th place to advance to the playoffs. That's in keeping with American sports leagues (unlike British/European sports leagues, where everyone plays everyone else the same number of times, with the winner taking it all). I mean, the Florida Marlins played a home game in Seattle this week because of a U2 concert. That's some TNA booking right there. It would only be a disadvantage if you got to wrestle less matches than your opponents, which... oh right, TNA. Nevermind. One of those appearances was Bischoff getting the living shit beat out of him. I'm a-okay with that. Jarrett is such a tremendous heel. He said he was joking about the stip. Quality heeling right there. He's basically Triple H if Triple H was funny.
