This isn't an awesome band, but in the 1980s they filmed a BBC sitcom called "Sorry!" in my hometown. All I remember is that the theme tune was pretty catchy:
Thanks to the wonders of the Internet, I came across this:

It is catchy in a creepy, porno way.

These two things fit together perfectly. "One of These Days" by Pink Floyd with a scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Just awesome.

Yeah, no kidding. And according to the Internet that band is held in some critical regard. Do they really think they could get away with it? What's the point?

That Wussy song sounds like it thinks about ripping off One Way or Another for a few seconds, before deciding to rip off Teenage Kicks instead.
It seems Nirvana copied quite a few riffs in their time.
I suppose some things will inevitably sound familiar. I remember reading something about Coldplay getting caught copying one of Joe Satriani's songs a little while back.

Not sure if I have put this one up previously, but I watched this tonight. I used to friggin' love this and hope the music video would come on TV.

I first heard this a couple years or so ago. It always seems to perk me up.

That's pretty cool.
This is one I stumbled across on Youtube too, about a year ago, and go back to every now and then.
As for songs that make me feel better, this one always does.
I can't make out a single word she is saying, but the fact she is clearly having such a ball makes it impossible to not smile and enjoy. And even without the video, the song is cool.

I've been listening to this band recently.
I like listening to older radio shows and stuff like public service announcements now and again, and it works well mixed with the music.

I heard this song recently and liked it. That song is basically the White Stripes "Black Math" but with an intro.

Yeah, it does reek of The White Stripes. That was my initial reaction too.
