I like Opeth plus they have Jesus Christ on lead vocals.

I can't find any good bands these days. Music is so sad lately I like to DVR Headbangers ball. That way I can fast forward through all the shit and sometimes find a couple gems.

Headbangers Ball and the Fuse give us some SHIT bands! I can't remember the last time I heard a band and was impressed

I don't care about modern or pop music. It's not to be awkward, I just can't be bothered with that shit.

I listened to the Opeth song because it had the Snitskyman seal of approval, I liked it.
I always assume that I'm the last person to hear about Internet fads, but do any of you use last.fm? You type in the name of a band (or a genre) and it'll play through a load of music that other people have tagged as being similar. It's pretty cool, I've heard some good stuff I probably would never have come across otherwise.

I might have to check it out V. I've never heard of it but I have checked out Pandora radio which sounds very similar to what you described.

Judas Priest is great. I was always a little more of a Maiden fan

Maiden makes me want to go on a rampage when I hear certain songs. Love them.

Maiden is the most uplifting form of metal you'll ever hear. Usually metal makes me intense and a little angry but Maiden is like listening to the cocaine of rock. It's a rush
