Man, Stephanie has gotten so good these days. The way she was reeling off cartoonvillain cliches like "Do you have any idea how much power I have in this city?" as she was being led of in handcuffs was great stuff.
It's just a pity that Brie is such a plank. Not much to work with there.

I took it back about 15 minutes later, but the general point was mostly lost on my own self hypocrisy. So, did Kofi and Big E turn heel? It was really hard to tell, since there acting was subpar. This attacking people not in matches thing leading to arrests, I hope it happens more often. If those Florida cops were any good they would have also arrested Brie, Heath Slater and that rapper.

I saw a good point somewhere else. Stephanie technically slapped a fan, that's a big no-no (as is fans jumping the rail and getting involved), which is why they made a big deal out of it. Once you're backstage you're part of the show, so you can do stuff and get away with it. I'm sure you're all going to point out a bunch of times where wrestlers attacked fans and didn't get arrested now.

I think wwe has been starting to suck again. The first 4 months of 2014 they seemed to be in the midst of a revolutionary transition. Then they started having consistently shitty raws again but the ppvs were still decent. Then battleground sucked dick and the raw after sucked and it's back to the same old shit again. This goes to show you that it doesn't matter when they have the talent if the writing is complete shit. Why am I getting bored with Rollins and Ambrose? Because I sure as fuck shouldn't be! Why are the Wyatts complete jobbers now? Because they shouldn't be! Now "Hollywood miz" is IC champ. The miz sucks. I just can't take that guy seriously. Just merge the fucking midcard titles already too. Speaking of midcard titles, I used to really like sheamus and he's just boring the shit out of me. I actually miss bluetista! "Deal with it!"

CM Punk decked a dude that was pushing him on the stairs of an arena. Kashius Ohno made a reputation of hitting fans in the crowd in the indies. On the other end of the fan/wrestler spectrum, Kevin Steen (who will probably be in NXT in the next couple of months) kissed a lot of heckling fans.

I think wwe has been starting to suck again. The first 4 months of 2014 they seemed to be in the midst of a revolutionary transition. WrestleMania was such a high point but the air has been slowly let out of the balloon since then. Daniel Bryan getting injured was obviously a blow, but for Bryan I think having to step away when he did was probably a blessing in disguise. A feud with Kane is fine for a midcard guy getting over or for something wacky, but for your newly crowned WWE champion to be feuding with the Michael Myers version of Kane was such a rubbish route to take. Bryan was going nowhere fast with that angle. Then when he left they had a vacated WWE title and countless possibilities on what to do with the title, but instead of trying to continue that feeling of change they go with the likes of Cena, Orton and Kane in their top angle again. With Bryan gone that would have been a perfect time to try some different faces in their top angle revolving around the WWE title. I also think the re-shuffle they do after WrestleMania where they introduce new acts sucked a lot of the momentum out of the shows. All at once we got Rusev, Adam Rose, Paige, Bo Dallas (I might be forgetting one or two) and had to put up with the predictable two minute matches new wrestlers always get for the first little while to build their credibility. Also, we moan about the Authority Figure angles in TNA, but The Authority in WWE has been going on for a while now and they are usually the two people the whole shows revolve around. Personally, I can do with a little less exposure to that stuff and a bit more time dedicated to the other wrestlers. For some reason they ripped the heart out of Cesaro's push. They have also jobbed the Wyatt's out a bit too much for my liking. And although I like them, I would like to see them, Bray especially, a little less. Having them come and go would keep that mystique they have, but having Bray ramble on for 10mins every week will get old. I'm sure I have said this before, but every WWE show looks and sounds exactly the same. I'd like them to mix up the aesthetics every now and again. Give us a different camera angle. Mix the commentary team sometimes. Just little things to change things up. They produce at least 4 shows every week with the main roster, so why should we tune in to see Jack Swagger v Kofi Kingston 305 when we've already seen it hundreds of times before, and when every match looked the same as the last one did, and the latest match meant less than the previous pointless match did? That said, there is still some decent stuff happening. I have been enjoying Rollins and Ambrose recently. I especially love how Ambrose has been connecting as a face. BNB was going well before getting injured. Things can be much better though.

I don't know WTF they are doing with cesaro. The guy was getting over, he had all the tools, and they gave him that big moment at mania. I've never been one of those guys that was personally flipped over cesaro but I do recognize when something good is there. So instead of capitalizing on his popularity and momentum, they stick him in a gay Hugh Hefner smoking jacket and call him the king of swing and turn him into a tool with heyman. Then they have him split with heyman because that wasn't working, and now he's a jobber. How do you screw this shit up? In the attitude era, every time someone got any kind of momentum, they milked it Til it wasn't working anymore or until the guy skyrocketed to the next plateau. It's like they purposely fuck shit up. They can't be that stupid. Look at their history. This company obviously knows how to make shit happen

And of course, they did an angle this week where Brie slapped a civilian in the ring, and she got arrested. So much for that theory. In theory this Summerslam has been built up to pretty well, but at the same time I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for it?

Yeah the build is actually being done well. I really like how they are building up Lesnar for this match. They are doing everything right. The only way they could go wrong is by having cena win. I know we've been fooled by cena overcoming the odds in the past. But this is a time I think Lesnar has to win. The streak breaking was way too big of a deal to just make Brock lose at summerslam. He's gotta be indestructible Til wrestlemania.
Even though I don't care about Brie and steph either they are sure putting a lot of effort into it.
Reigns vs Orton is definitely ready to happen. I'm not so much looking forward to this either, mainly because randy is so boring.
Rollins vs Ambrose is finally happening lol. I just hope the lumberjack shit doesn't water this match down. I suppose if they have planned spots involving the lumberjacks it could be cool.
Miz vs ziggler. I couldn't give less of a shit about this. The miz sucked as a face and this gimmick isn't a bad gimmick. I just don't like the miz. Ziggler is just past any hope I had for him too.
Cesaro vs rvd for the preshow. All I can say is thank god it's on the preshow. Cesaro is just ruined and rvd is the stalest man on planet earth.
Jericho vs Wyatt, I have to say I'm not really into this feud. I think Jericho is another guy that's just over the hill now and Wyatt basically turned into an upper midcard jobber. Their match at battleground was very disappointing too. Wyatt feuds are starting to feel redundant like you saw one you saw them all
I'm actually looking forward to rusev and swagger. I really like this feud

Just some thoughts since I am caught up on WWE now.
-Heyman and Steph are the best heels right now. I actually think Steph and Trips are the best heel couple since Edge and Vicki. Heyman is just in a league of his own on promos now. He is the reason anyone would boo Lesnar, so big ups to him.
-I am enjoying the Dean vs Seth feud way to much. To bad Dean is going to film a movie now. The fact that they made a lumberjack match watchable is fantastic.
-Stardust is awesome.
-I hate what little creative is doing with Reigns. Ambrose and Rollins are completely different now, and Reigns just looks like a dude that is living in the past.
-Swagger is actually interesting as a face. I thought he would be boring.

LOL. It's only been a couple of months but I know what you mean about Reigns living in the past. It's like Rollins and Ambrose have went on to form new, more relevant bands and Reigns is just sitting in his room listening to his Black Sabbath vinyls. I get the feeling they are trying to hold his push off and have him explode early next year for WrestleMania season, however, if Daniel Bryan comes back around about the same time, they can forget about it with Reigns. If Bryan is fit and ready for the Rumble, I think he's going to be the hero we all want again, not Reigns.

I think that WWE wants Bryan to be the man. How many people have been out injured and despite not really being on any TV shows has been brought up every show. They don't necessarily say his name, but the Bella's remind us he's around, shit he's like 1/3rd of the Steph vs Brie feud. They do his YES! arm gestures, have Steph wear rip-off T-shirts. The closest I can think of this happening before is Owen wearing Owen 3:16 t shirts after he hurt Austin. By the way, it has been like 15 years since Owen died, and I just used his first name, and you know exactly who I'm talking about.
Reigns on the other hand, seems to be in upper mid-card autopilot. As long as he Super Man Punches some pregnant doges we are all happy.

Reigns is pretty over though. He gets the loudest reactions of each event lately. I think the problem with reigns is the same problem wwe has had with main eventers in the last 10 years. They play it too safe. They keep them on this even keel that allows them to be that superstar every week that people pay to see and they almost don't let them grow. Next thing you know they start working these safe matches too.
I've said it before, I don't know what Bryan did in ROH, but I really don't know why he's considered such a great wrestler in wwe. I think he's good and I think he busts his ass out there, but I'm still trying to understand why he's great/phenomenal. To me Shawn michaels was so much better in the ring. So was Bret Hart. I even think the Undertaker is too, all in different ways. I'm not even bashing Bryan. I'm just trying to understand why I'm not seeing what so many others do.
