I'll tell you one thing I am really sick of wwe doing that actually makes me say a decent show sucks. It is these god damn goofy dance offs that benefit NOBODY. It doesn't benefit the workers or the fans. Wtf are they going for with Emma? That may have been the worst raw debut ever. If you're going to give her a goofy bubbly character, Jesus Christ you gotta book it better than that.
The cage match was great. I think people want attitude era blood and spilled guts in these matches and always set themselves up for disappointment. They need to learn how to go for the ride and not nitpick the details.
I agree with Naitch, the shield vs the Wyatt's is just really interesting and fun to me. It's something I almost feel like they can't fuck up as long as they just let both sides be themselves. That's all. The rest falls into place. I enjoyed both promos from both sides on the tron. I think the classic fan side of me wants the shield to win though. They feel more like the faces to me in this feud.
I can't believe I'm saying this but, I actually kind of enjoyed the del rio and Batista segment mainly because of Del Rio! I felt like he really stuck it good to Batista. Batista has fuckin sucked since he came back. I was excited when he returned and 2 weeks later I'm bored to death with him already. You guys obviously know that del rio was on my shit list for a while too. But there was something cool about seeing him come out in more normal street clothes(no gay rich suit) and actually telling the straight up truth about himself and Batista. It gave him quality heat and not his typical cheap bullshit about destiny and money and shit. Plus, if I didn't laugh at him calling Dave a filthy Perro, then I have no sense of humor at all. That shit was funny

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not V but, in case you're serious, she is one of these developmental girls on NXT. I heard about her and I actually heard she's their best prospect next to Paige. I just don't know what the fuck they're doing with her. Sticking anyone with santino is career homicide. FUCK THAT GUY! Jesus Christ, he's one guy that goes away for 6 months and I'm pissed the second he returns. I just have no tolerance for that guy anymore. What I'm saying is, they must be hazing Emma or something. There's nothing good about her gimmick

Lol. Yeah, the dancing bits are always terrible. Only when they have Khali in them and they are supposed to be terrible, I can just about put up with it.
That face-off, the first one with The Shield and The Wyatts a couple of weeks back is probably the best thing I have seen so far this year. Just a great moment.

Now that is how you sign a contract. LOL! That ending of RAW was so badass.
I really can't believe they are still sticking with Orton v Batista as their main event.
Hogan rambling on about the WWE Universenetwork got really old really fast. Brother.
Looks like the Cesaro face turn is in motion. I'm all for it, even though it might mean we hear less of the Real Americans' brilliant theme.

I missed most of raw because my family hit a finisher on the DVR with their stupid shows. I did see the contract signing though. It's funny because taker looks terrible, meaning he looks about 60 yrs old and he's still in his 40s. But he was still so scary and imposing on Monday though. It's like it doesn't matter how much you age and how long you're gone, there's a reason undertaker is the man and always will be. He looked like grandpa ministry though.
I only got to see it from reigns vs Wyatt Til the end, and the crowd was shockingly dead for that match. I don't get these dumb crowds

I think I'm more stoked for this ep of Raw then I have been for one for awhile. Very anxious to see how Chicago reacts, how WWE responds, if Punk is coming back, will we get a another cry baby Batista promo, what will Undertaker do. Plus, the rest of the normal show with the favorites like Shield, Wyatts, Bryan, Authority, Jack Swagger and Uncle Zeb, etc. Some dude with a lot of time on his hands started a twitter account and made a twitter manifesto on how to hijack Raw and the goals of the Chicago crowd (which I'm guessing 5% at most of the crowd will be aware of.) Should be a fun show, sad that I won't be able to view it until a day later.

The Shield v The Wyatts II was good. The first match at the PPV is still my favourite, but that one was also good. The fact that it was used to advance the breakup of The Shield made the outcome, and the match in general a little more obvious. I didn't expect Rollins to be the one who seems to have produced the definitive crack, but I suppose it makes sense if they are going to do a triple threat at WrestleMania.
Actually, now that I think about it, the triple threat match could have a really cool beginning if the theme tune starts and each of the three come walking down through the crowd from different sides of the stadium.
Cesaro, Swagger and Big Ern look like they might also be heading for a triple threat match.
Mark Henry really loves getting his ass kicked by Buhrok Lesnar.
I enjoyed seeing the Usos win the tag titles too.

Shield vs Wyatts was amazing again! I think I actually liked this one better than the ppv! These guys are fucking great!
Roman reigns is stepping up his game too! It's like he knows they are really high on him and you got "the idiots" on the net criticizing him for being the least talented shield member. Now suddenly he got like twice as good in the ring. He's actually got "cena popularity" potential.
Rollins won my heart as a wrestler. It's times like this I snicker to myself over punk calling himself the best in the world. I have a feeling when Rollins REALLY comes into his own as a wwe veteran, we are going to see some of the greatest wwe matches of all time out of him. When he did those insane flips over the top rope and landed on his feet and the crowd went nuts, the camera just panned over to reigns and he looked so genuinely happy and proud to be a part of all this. It was one of the most awesome little moments I've seen in years. You just feel like these guys are all here to fuck shit up and make shit happen and enjoy every minute of it. Let me just say, it's about fucking time! You think back to the days of carlito and masters main eventing against wigger marine cena and it's like, WHAT THE FUCK kind of tv was that? Lol
Ambrose is going to be a great heel if they book him right. He obviously knows what he's doing out there more than most guys that pass through the wwe. The only problem with Ambrose is they gotta find a guy like him the right angles. You can tell if they book him against guys like that big piece of shit Big E Langston, he's not going to shine at all....btw these guys made me realize big E is a big waste of time
Bray Wyatt is amazing. I feel like, as a heel, he's going to make every face prospect look great. He's got an awesome long heel run ahead of him.
It's a shame, I don't think like Harper will go very far on his own. I already feel like he's going to go down as one of the more underrated guys in history
With all this said, how fucking lucky is that big turd Erick Rowan? Lol I mean, I find him entertaining with the sheep head and all but, as soon as the Wyatt family ends, so does his career lol. Let's face it. Maybe the best thing to do is keep him and Harper together as long as they can. Without bray they would both lose a lot of steam. But I feel like they can survive if they stick together
Cesaro....another guy that's giving me a "new era boner". I kind of gave up on cesaro when his US title run ended. I kind of felt like it just wasn't his time and only time would tell if he could ever be anything great. Well, the dude has really been coming into his own. Great match vs Orton, better match vs cena, and I don't know who saw NXT arrival but, cesaro vs Sami zayn was one of the best matches I've EVER seen. I mean, it was THAT good. I'm not a fan of zayn's character. He's a little generic and boring. But that dude is another guy that can come to the main roster and mix in with guys like Rollins, Bryan and Wyatt and just have SICK epic matches. On a side note, cesaro's blatant dq on swagger by hitting big e with his finisher as soon as the bell rang was great. Poor swagger, he's a talented guy but he's just such a goof that he only gets so far and craps out every time. Cesaro is just blowing past him right now.
You know what's kind of sad? Once again, these ignorant fucking attitude asshole fans were booing sheamus vs Christian and chanting this is awful. Ummm, that match wasn't bad! I mean it wasn't in a good spot because it had to follow the fun of the shield and Wyatts and it's like the 3rd time we've seen this match in the last month. But these fans are such ingrates. Wwe is finally producing good shit and they chant this is awful because it didn't involve ziggler, Bryan or punk? Suck a dick. I will admit that Christian and sheamus match on smackdown 2 weeks ago was better than Monday's match, but the match wasn't 'awful'. Come on now. Assholes
Bryan vs Batista wasn't bad. What's pissing me off about Batista is I feel like he's being protected or he's afraid to let loose, has ring rust....lazy? I don't know but he's being outperformed by EVERYONE that has a spot at mania and he's main eventing. He better step it the fuck up! This is one thing I agree with the fans on. Then again, the fans have become so god damn stupid and ignorant again, Batista could be working better matches than Bryan and they'd still tell him he sucks. I don't think they even know what they want anymore
Wtf was with that cena promo. Enough.....enough with this "ah respect yoo anyway" bullshit. Cena proved he can go out there and kill it at times. His performance against cesaro made me think, why did we have to wait 8 yrs for this cena? The guy looked great that night. But they still have him doing the same old shit over and over where he lets the dickhead cities walk all over him and he kisses their asses on top of it. Look, I'm NOT one of those guys that can't forgive cena for 2006. If it's good NOW that's what matters to me. But, cenas been the flagship for 10 yrs now. His prime has obviously passed. Newer better guys are stepping up. 2014 is becoming a new and improved company. There's no reason he needs to still be a fag every week. Maybe they keep him this way for his legendary make a wish status. If so, then I guess you gotta let it slide. That's kind of a bigger picture
Heyman trolling the fans was gold. Pure gold. I love that guy, in a totally heterosexual way. For years I hated heyman and I realize now it's because he was THAT GOOD.
Brock destroying mark Henry is just getting funny now. I kind of want it to happen once more just for shits and giggles
But, hey I'm excited about wwe right now. I feel more hopeful about this year than I have since the attitude era. We really kind of went through a 10-13 year giant dud when you think about it. Even when things got a little better, then a little worse, then a little better again, it's never felt 'great'. So let's see what happens!

I'm a tad late, but damn this weeks Raw was off the hook, maybe my favorite Raw of all time.
-Paul Heyman trolling the crowd was incredible.
-The Shield vs Wyatts was the reason I love wrestling.
-HHH vs Bryan is actually a match I'm looking forward to now.
-I agree with Champ shitting on the crowd for shitting on the Christian vs Sheamus match. That match was good.
-Daniel Bryan is the new Ric Flair in the sense that he can drag a watchable match out of anybody.

Triple H and Steph telling two security guards to throw out an entire crowd was fucking hilarious... and then Dan pointing out how ridiculous it was made me LOL... and HHH and Steph losing their shit at the two guards for not doing their job made me lol even harder. What an amazing little sequence. Whoever came up with idea deserves a giant novelty-sized trophy.

Thoughts on last night's RAW:
I actually watched a decent chunk of this live last night. Woke up and couldn't get to sleep (also I'm off work for a few days, so didn't have to worry about getting up early), and it occurred to me that this must have been the first time I'd watched any wrestling live in YEARS. Seriously, it must be a good 5 years - at least - since I've watched RAW live, kind of made me slightly nostalgic for when I was younger and had to work to midnight and it wasn't such a big deal. Nostalgic for all of 5 seconds, before remembering how shitty that job was. Thank fuck I work 9-5ish now.
Never really grasped how cinematic Bray's entrance is, also the music is perfect. Nobody is ever going to beat Undertaker's entrance for chills, but this guy isn't a bad replacement if they don't fuck things up. These three guys can all go. Even the guy who looks like he used to be in Queens of The Stone Age. They should rename the Intercontinental Title the Poisoned Chalice Championship. Christ, even I knew Big E was taking the fall as soon as they flashed the graphic. Cena is the man. It is a lot of fun watching him handle these douchebag crowds. He has them in the palm of his hand. Enjoyed this match a lot.
Loved Heyman's promo. Brock's here to put tears in children's eyes. He barely tolerates me! And he sure as hell doesn't care for you dipshits who flew halfway across the world to sit in the crowd trying to get on TV! Fucking outstanding.
It kinda sucks to be a midcarder right now. The top of the card is so stacked that everyone has to make do with wrestling each other in 3-minute matches with seemingly nowhere to go. Unless Wade has a beef with Rey and I am just ignorant of that. I have no problem with Rusev destroying Zak Ryder though. Perhaps Legsy can bring back Vladimir Kozlov to make an Evil Not Actually Russian tag team to fight the Usos.
Paige makes Sheamus look tan. Is she a vampire or something on NXT? This was the weirdest debut. AJ is blahblahing in the ring, this new music hits and EVERYONE goes nuts, and she comes out and kinda simpers... thought for SURE she was goldbricking (oh, I'm not ready!), and trying to trick AJ into doing what she eventually did anyway - put the title on the line like a complete idiot. Then she got her ass handed to her for 45 seconds, hit one shitty-looking move, and walked off with the title. Maybe we'd get a wink as she walked up the aisle? It was all part of her cunning plan? Nope. Very odd.
For a moment I thought this asshole crowd was going to boo Hogan. Cesaro switching to Heyman was certainly unexpected. I'm disappointed that Jack Swagger didn't jump out of a cake before destroying that hideous trophy.
The main event was never going to be a match. I'm glad they haven't split up the Shield. I don't understand the thinking that you have to split these groups up as soon as they have singles potential. There's all the time in the world for that. Batista is a Fossil now. I've seen some "he's got a movie coming out, they're GOING to put the belt on him for promotion". Really? More Postmodern booking, "fans" worrying about offscreen stuff. As I said in the Mania thread, Triple H is the master of this. They set up that whole deal really well, and the commentators did a good job acting outraged at the ridiculousness of it all.
Good show, but man, three hours is an absurd amount of time for a weekly wrestling show.

I thought that was almost a perfect episode of RAW this week. Every segment seemed to be enjoyable.
The "You deserve it!" chants were cool. I'm really happy for Daniel Bryan.
Yeah, Paul Heyman owning it on the mic was excellent. Then Cesaro jumping ship to Heyman was a pleasant surprise. I thought he was in for a face push, but Bryan is the man right now and with Cena still around he would only be able to go so far as a face. Bringing him on as a Heyman guy for a while is a good move.
The Shield coming out to help Daniel Bryan and bring some justice to the show was also really cool.
Barrett destroying Rey Mysterio was good.
It felt like WWE had not just turned a page on Monday, especially after what happened the night before, but that they started an entirely new chapter with a new crop of wrestlers coming to prominence.

Raw fucking rocked this week. I'm telling you, something is in the air. You can feel it. There's a really new exciting era ushering in. It's an era that does not consist of a bunch of new del rios, Reys, miz's and kofis that we have to pretend are GREAT talents because there isn't much better to offer. There is an all star rookie line up just ready to fuck shit up and take over and I love it!
I'm not going to really break down the segments. I'm just going to bounce around and talk about parts of it.
Everything was good. I just feel like santino is the one thing left making me cringe. I can't stand "santino humor". You know that super fucking goofball humor that was really just kind of funny for about 5 min but, has sucked for the last 5 yrs. And Jesus Christ, Emma is a great wrestler and she's paired with this clown.
As mentioned already, I also loved heymans promo. Brock loves making little kids cry. He can't tolerate anyone. He barely can tolerate me. Fucking QUALITY heel heat right there!
Paige won the divas title. Amazing, in one night the most promising diva they've got debuts and takes the title. Good job wwe. No, I'm not being sarcastic. They bring in a young sexy unique talent, that can wrestle very well, and put her at the top immediately. Hey, if no one else is delivering, may as well give it to the girl that is delivering on a different show, even if it is developmental. I'd actually prefer Paige as champion over every diva from mania. So it works for me.
Is it just me or have the fans really been getting trolled? They really truly believe that dan Bryan has been getting screwed in real life. If you ask me, this company LOVES Daniel Bryan. The fucking guy overcame the 3 baddest members of evolution in one night BY HIMSELF. Yeah, he's really getting screwed lol
I really actually like this sudden union of frustration between Batista and Orton. As if trips doesn't have enough problems, he's gotta make sure these guys don't do anything crazy now. I think there's a lot of potential keeping Orton and Batista around each other for a while. It's like they can't stand each other but they're totally on the same page. I also am really starting to like Batista and Orton individually again too. They were great at wrestlemania and it turns out they actually did a great job getting that main event back on track with triple h and Bryan. But Orton and Batista are actually starting to feel fresh to me again. That was not an easy thing to make happen, especially how we all felt just 2 months ago.
Bad NEWZ Barrett! I fucking love this guy! That's all I gotta say. They better be careful or they just might have to turn him face!
And wow, yeah, warriors promo. I don't really know what to say. I feel like, for the first time, we REALLY got to know warrior and see his vulnerable side and see how humble and truly grateful he was for everything. I think a lot of his "asshole behavior" had a lot to do with his high school war with everyone in the wwe. But the guy looked so happy and grateful to be there. He and his family seemed so happy together. He didn't look very good though. He had the mannerisms of an 85 yr old man with dimensia and he was never like that. After this whole weekend then hearing about his death Wednesday morning really upset me. I was almost late for work because of it. I just starting going on line reading about it. I couldn't believe it. It was just so sad.
On a better note, how awesome was it to see raw close with dan Bryan and the shield clowning the authority, Orton, and Batista. It made me realize, for the people who are really sick of cena, I don't think we have to "worry" about him anymore. I think we just have to tolerate him. See, NOW I think Cena's time is up. I couldn't say that before because, even though it always felt stale and dead end with him, it also felt kind of empty without him. It's like you couldn't win. The truth is, this most recent era has been just fucking rough! Let's call it how it is. But now I feel like there's so much new exciting shit that cena has to step aside so we can experience all of it. See THIS is what I've been waiting for, not for cena to step aside for these boring midcard motherfuckers that have been lingering around for years, but for a class of guys to come along and demand our attention instead.
Kick ass fucking show man! Wwe really has my attention again

The fucking guy overcame the 3 baddest members of evolution in one night BY HIMSELF. Yeah, he's really getting screwed lol I think around the title unification period to the Rumble people were worried he was getting screwed. Or not that he was getting screwed, but pushed aside. The fans felt they were getting screwed because everyone was firmly behind a guy who seemed to be getting pushed out of the top angles to make space for the tried and tested main eventers. It really did look like WWE were trying to take the safe route at the start of the year. Nobody will ever know for sure what the creative plans were for Daniel Bryan, but I do think the fan reactions did force them to re-shuffle their card for WrestleMania and slot Bryan in to the main event. Anything other than Bryan winning the main event would have been booed or Conway popped out the building. I'm also interested to see how they go with this re-evolvution angle. I just hope they don't bring Flair back for it.
