Thanks for trying, Naitch. I have to say, besides being very attractive, she has got an interesting look.

This weeks Raw was really good. Neville vs Rollins was PPV worthy. Another fine promo from Heyman. A mainevent that was dragged down by Orton and Sheamus but the other 4 were great in.
Did Dolph Ziggler get cancer or something? He was allover Raw for awhile and he just kinda disappered. I'm not sure I've seen him since the Beast in the East show they had on the Network.

People actually booed the Undertaker this week. I know they were in Brock's hometown, but that's still quite a development. The crazy thing is the bookmakers are convinced Taker is getting his win back, but I'm just not seeing it. The guy knows he's overmatched, that's why he keeps kicking him in the balls.
Oh, and Cena cut another of his great promos. Who is Seth Rollins? The guy Cena beat to win his 16th World Title. Such a great Face/Heel line. I mean, really, it's more heelish, isn't it? Cena's going to do what he usually does - win. He knows EXACTLY how to play to his fans and his haters AT THE SAME TIME. However, the fact he seemed particularly confident - and the fact he kept bringing Triple H into his spiel - makes me wonder if shenanigans are going to take place. Also it's a winner-takes-all match, so I'm half expecting Undertaker to show up and kick Cena in the balls for the DQ.
I loved Rusev's flag thing last week. I saw a clip and it made me laugh.
Summerslam looks like a really great show. Jon Stewart is a great pick for a host, too.

I think I'm looking forward to Rusev v Dog Ziggler the most at Summerslam. I just love everything about Rusev and hope be destroys Ziggler again and gets back with Lana. He can keep Summer too.
Cena v Rollins should be good. I was thinking Rollins was going to keep the belt all the way through to WrestleMania and they would do the 3-way with the Shield guys for the belt, but there seems to be some talk that Ambrose is turning heel, so I dunno... Cena winning a 17th title to take him clear of Flair is a WrestleMania match so they might have him get his 16th now, even if he just holds it for a month or two.
I can't see Lesnar losing on Sunday. Undertaker will probably try every trick in the book but I still see Lesnar pinning him clean again. Undertaker turning RAW into an episode of "Ow My Balls!" every week has been funny though. I'll miss that.
Cesaro v Owens should be a good match.
Anyone else feel like this so-called Divas Revolution has fell flat on its face after an optomistic start? I'm not caring too much for the tag match.
Also, It's going to be cool to see Jushin Liger at the NXT event. His theme song is one of the best ever.

Anyone else feel like this so-called Divas Revolution has fell flat on its face after an optomistic start? I'm not caring too much for the tag match. I like the idea of it more than I do seeing it in practice. There are two problems I see with this. The first is that they're just assuming everyone watches or is familiar with NXT to get the newcomers over, which is a risky proposition. I knew who these three women were, and I knew they were on NXT, but I know nothing about them beyond that. The other problem is really more a problem with wrestling in general than this particular angle - they brought them up and it's another pro-wrestling war with factions and whatever, rather than a bunch of new talent trying to compete their way up the ranks until they can win the title. I think a better way to go about this would be Steph announcing a Queen-of-the-Ring style competition to determine the next #1 contender, and have the NXT and WWE women all in the mix. Fill the bracket out with literal jobbers if need be. I don't know if it is deliberate on their part, but there does seem to be a battle going on between "what we think is going to happen" against "what is going to happen, based on the events we are witnessing on the screen". What I mean is, everyone is thinking "oh, Undertaker is getting his win back to set up a rubber match, because that is how pro wrestling works and I am really smart". When you actually look at the evidence, and how the story has progressed, it all points to Lesnar beating him clean again. The dude beat him at Wrestlemania, fair and square. Okay, so his manager was being a loudmouth about bragging about it, but Undertaker fucking waited until a WWE Title match to go get him. That is a pregnant dog move. Just go call him out on Raw if it bothers you that much. And he kicked him in the balls because he knows he's up against it. This guy isn't afraid of him, and he knows it. And it is a guy clearly at the end of his career facing off against a guy in his prime. If it is a wrestling match or a fight, Lesnar is winning. Undertaker might piledrive him into the concrete after the match, once Kane and whoever else comes running down to interfere, but there is no way he's winning the match. Is Cena winning the 17th title really that big a deal? Because it's winner-take-all, this match is just screaming "DQ / No decision". I guarantee that one of the marquee matches is going to be a Magnus Special, and I don't think both of them will go that way, so this is my pick for a shitty no-finish.

You'd think I'd be bored of being wrong all the time by now, but here we are. Jon Stewart Heel Turn and Timekeeper Shenanigans for the marquee matches. I suppose it's better than Bigfoot showing up to distract someone.

Yeah, the Divas not actually being too concerned about the title is annoying. Also, can they just bring back a Women's title to the main roster already. And refer to them as women too. I just hope once Nikki breaks this record and AJ's reign is forgotten about they can put the title on someone else. I wouldn't mind Naomi winning the title. The faces from PCB could chase for a while and they can slowly let Sasha turn face.
Cena winning a 17th title doesn't mean too much to me, but they will likely make a big deal out of it. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets screwed out of his 16th again by Flair the next time. Flair says he wants Cena to beat his record, but he's also the dirtiest player in the game.
Despite the shenanigans in the big matches I thought SummerSlam was really good. New Day winning the titles, Cena vs Rollins, Undertaker vs Brock, Cesaro vs Owens. The NXT event the night before was also really good. Sasha vs Bayley was one of my favourite matches of the year. Then RAW was good on Monday. Good few days.

Well, fuck it, I guess I'll have to reply to myself.
So Seth beat Sting at the PPV (which surprised me), despite having already wrestled Cena? This would be the perfect starting point for a feud with HHH... if Sting had beaten HHH at Wrestlemania. I don't think I'm ever going to understand that decision.

if Sting had beaten HHH at Wrestlemania. I don't think I'm ever going to understand that decision. I really think it was another after the bell shot at WCW. Another, "Ha, we won!" moment. I enjoyed this year's WrestleMania, but that match really bugged me. It was just nonsense and the handshake at the end was the cherry on top of the turd. As of right now, I'm thinking Brock destroys Undertaker at the next PPV and they do Sting v Undertaker at WrestleMania in a retirement match for both of them. Sting wins. Why not? The streak is already broken, so it doesn't matter. It's probably going to happen, but I'm not too excited by a Seth - Triple H feud. Unless it ends with Seth driving Triple H's head through some concrete blocks. I am so sick of the Authority. At least with Vince he would get stunnered every other week. These two have multiple personalities and roles on the show and it's the same old crap all the time with no reward ever. Remember when they got ousted from power, for a whole week? That was a good week. New Day are amazing right now. That trumpet is the star of the show. I hope this Rusev - Ziggler thing ends with a double turn and Rusev and Lana get back together. It's the only logical happy ending. I'm also liking Stardust right now. The Legion of Doofus as his goons is a good fit. On one hand I'm a little annoyed that Cesaro keeps getting jobbed out. On the other hand, it is often phase one in the WWE storytelling process for someone about to get a big push. We'll see. I was so happy Kevin Owens beat Ryback for the IC title. Kane is pretty much just Joseph Park now. They better get Doctor Shelby back to help him.

Yeah, I guess I do understand the decision, but my reaction to that decision is always going to be "really?". If they end up doing Sting vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania then it wouldn't surprise me if Sting jobs yet again.
The Authority is starting to make Aces & 8s look short-lived.
I want to see Rusev end up with both Summer and Lana. It does make me laugh that they gave Ziggler what should have been a star-making moment at Survivor Series (you know, when he got rid of the Authority for that glorious week) and then proceeded to do jack shit with him.
Also it's a trombone, Mastersnit

I'm beginning to fear The Authority will be around for years and years
Yeah, it's no wonder fans are so jaded sometimes. A victory like that should have been followed by some sustained exposure. A run at the world title for a couple of months and then see where things are. Wasn't he fired about 2 weeks later then kept away for a couple of months after that? Don't think he was injured either.
I think they should all have an instrument. Big E and a tuba seems like a logical fit to me. Give Kofi some bongos. I got a good laugh a few weeks back when New Day were tagging with Rusev and Xavier was playing Rusev's theme tune while Rusev stomped someone in the ring.
This Rollins - Kane feud is actually amusing me. Nothing Kane ever does makes sense, so I'm just sitting back and enjoying it.
I was thinking recently that it's funny how they keep banging on about a Divas revolution on RAW and SmackDown while on NXT Bayley and Sasha had on of the year's best matches a month ago and they are main eventing in an Ironman match next week. At the same time the Divas revolution on the main roster has already deteriorated into feuds revolving around jealousy and mud-slinging. Sasha and Bayley just want to find out who the best wrestler is, and it's great. I don't hate the Divas revolution, it just doesn't sit right when they try to push something that it isn't. Or at least it isn't yet.

I can't really see how they end The Authority now. Survivor Series was pretty conclusive and yet they Ctrl-Z it a few weeks later. They could banish HHH to NXT and do WWE vs NXT. That would be a way to get people to buy the network.
Rollins should give Joseph Park a call to figure out what's going on.
Well that is probably the best-booked feud in WWE this year. The Revolution is confusing me. Paige shat all over Charlotte and Becky, and yet shes tagging with them again. Sasha owns Paige and yet she's nowhere to be seen most of the time - she didn't even get a chance in beat-the-clock.
I don't think they started out with the intention of this being a mess, but I'm starting to wonder if they're setting the table for Bayley next year. That girl has got Cena-esque Face potential, and she has got lots and lots of possible opponents and feuds on the main roster. A sweet and innocent babyface coming into a sea of mudslinging pregnant doges seems like a really simple angle to run with.

We got a GM that doesn't favor anyone over there and it is fantastic. I also think I'm done with Raw. With the reason being is that nothing happens and it feels like work to watch it. The same matches, same story lines and it is so long. Since it makes me unhappy to watch it, I won't. I will watch the PPVs, the network specials and NXT and will feel better about wrestling in general.

Raw is like a buffet, Naitch. There's just way too much of it, and like you said not enough going on and too much Aces & 8s. I think WWE realises this too, which is why their website is so great - you can watch the clips and see a few cool things and be up to speed in 15 minutes. If there's something you like you can find it out by, uh, legal means of course. I don't think I've watched a whole show since that episode where Triple H faced Daniel Bryan for the title and the Shield turned face to put a stop to it. I think Paige has turned Heel/Face about 6 times since then.
