I'm going to mark out so hard when Bobby Roode calls out Hulk Hogan on a future "open fight night" and leaves him a bloody mess.
The Greatest Man That Ever Lived has an inferiority complex about Jeff Hardy. Have I mentioned recently that TNA is stupid? I mean, I suppose it would make psychological sense for someone constantly telling us how awesome they are to actually be insecure. But no, I'm going with TNA being stupid. This is a really puzzling angle all of a sudden.
Man, Hernandez really sticks out like a sore thumb out of those six in the Tag Title scene. I'm not a huge Chavo or Kaz fan either, it's just that Hernandez really sucks.
Daniels, of course, rules.
If they hadn't already given out 15 contracts to Gut Check Chumps, then I would have been in favour of giving this week's guy the thumbs up. I actually thought he did pretty well for an 18-year-old.
I wonder what Z-list "celebrity" is going turn out to be Tara's "huge star" boyfriend. I guess I'm going to have to tune in every week to find out! sigh

If Bischoff is Aces and Eights I'm going to fly to TNA studios and strangle somebody. It's still as if Hogan and Bischoff can't let go of the fact the NWO almost put WWE out of business. Yeah, ALMOST!..........ALMOST!!!!! Which means not quite! God!
Don't mind me, I'm just getting mentally prepared for the worst because you can NOT put this past TNA!
If you read what I wrote on the Raw thread about CM Punk. The same statement pretty much applies to Austin Aries(and I mentioned his name too). Aries is a better heel. He's too controversial and hypocritical as a face. Saying you're the greatest man that ever lived is only going to work in a face role for so long. Kind of like, I'm the best wrestler in the world.

Yeah, there definitely are similarities with Aries and Punk's current characters. I actually think it does makes sense for Aries to feel insecure. I just hope they don't rush things and have him heel on Hardy completely before the PPV. I still think Bully Ray will squeeze into the title match at the PPV.
The stuff with A+8s is beginning to drag a bit. I get it that they are likely waiting until BFG for the "shock", but it feels a bit like the middle part of a slow film at the minute where nothing is really progressing. Maybe it was Shaq all along.
So I'm guessing we just won't hear anything about the TV title again.

I don't know if you saw this past Thursday but they actually did say they're going to decide the future of the TV title, next Thursday I think. Not 100% sure but they definitely mentioned they're going to decide the TV title's future
I agree with the Aces and Eights thing, that it's starting to get slow. If they don't expose everyone behind it by BFG then I'll just lose complete interest

I'm convinced the whole Devon thing is a work, and he'll be back, probably as part of the A&8s angle. It's low-key enough for them to pull it off.

Oh god it's going to be Bischoff, isn't it. The "boss" sounded an awful lot like him. Enough so that it set the Bischoff Alarm (it's on my living room wall next to the Kofi Kingston vs Jack Swagger Dolph Ziggler Match Alarm) off.
And they're going to do a TEVPOTR angle with Prichard as well, aren't they? I really think they fucked up by not giving Evan Markopoulos a contract. It makes absolutely no sense to turn him down because he's 18. Isn't he exactly the sort of prospect you want in your organisation? If you're just sending them down to Triple-A anyway, why not have this guy hone his craft down there for a couple of years?
They've now rejected the two best guys to compete in this thing now, one because he's been around for 10 years, and the other because he's only 18. Have I mentioned recently that TNA is stupid? Because TNA is stupid.
Seriously, what is the fucking point of this thing any more?
Was the "passing out from the pain" finish really neccessary for the ending of a Joe vs Anderson match? Really?
Tara remembering that she was supposed to be faking a knee injury was pretty funny.
The main event was pretty good. You kinda think you know what Bobby Roode is up to, but you can't quite be sure.

Yeah, it's Bischoff. Deep down, we all knew that it was going to be him all along. It obviously wasn't his normal voice, but you could tell by the way he was saying things that it was him. So yeah, "Ahhm baaack!" will be ringing in our ears after Bound For Glory. What's worse is Garett did his best heel face after Hogan shunned him for the TV title match, so he'll be joining up with Devon and his dad with A+8s too, by the looks of it.
LOL. You pretty much summed up the glaring ridiculousness of Gut Check there, V. "No, because you are too inexperienced." "No, because you are too experienced." "Yes because... uh, because you suck. Welcome to TNA."
I can't stand Gut Check.
I loved Bobby Roode's sneaky little talk to Aries. I would like to see Aries win a couple of matches leading in to the PPV, because he's looking like a bit of a chump right now. Even if they are readying him for a heel turn, both main eventers should look pretty strong going in to their biggest match of the year.
I'm not so convinced now about Bully Ray being put in the main event. They will probably pair him up with Sting to get rid of A+8s. With Bully Ray heeling on Sting.

I did a little bit of scientific research on "the leader". All we could really see of him was his ears. When those ears are matched up with the main suspect in the matter... well, I think the evidence speaks for itself. ![](http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a134/RandyMarsh/theturdthatjustwontflush.png)

Last night kind of just tread water for me. I almost have no comment because I really don't care. The only thing is, Bully and Sting is an interesting tag team.
Watch Sting be Aces and Eights. Would TNA be THAT cracked up?.......Yes

Watch Sting be Aces and Eights. Would TNA be THAT cracked up?.......Yes Yeah, I watched it and thought "oh hey, Turkey has just asked Christmas to be his tag team partner". Then I thought "oh, right, now they're going to out-swerve us all, aren't they". In other words, yes, Champ. You've pretty much hit the nail on the head there. Will I mention in the near future that TNA is stupid? Because TNA will be stupid. Bully was awesome this week though. Chavo basically UltimateWarrior-ed the Angle Slam to do the Diva Finish on Kurt Angle. That is the worst finish to a match I have seen all year. Don't get me wrong, the match was perfectly fine until that happened. I mean, they were all booing and laughing at Joey Ryan for signing the contract. "Ahh, we got you there, didn't we, ho ho ho". The dude is getting a match on THE BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR. Rob Van Dam hasn't got a match on the show yet. Mr Anderson hasn't got a match yet. Gail Kim hasn't got a match yet. That's three former World Champions, and Ryan's cut right in front of them in the line. Kayfabe-wise, Ryan's going to make a lot of fake fame and fake money. That's some dissonant booking right there. On the subject, they basically gave us what could have been the Main Event of the PPV this week. This Aries vs Hardy feud is the strangest World Title feud for a long time. I mean, it's not that it doesn't make sense on paper, it's just... Aries was red-hot. He just despatched Bobby Roode. He was bringing it in the ring. He was popular. Why turn him heel(ish)? It's so much harder to create Face characters, they did all the legwork, he ran with the ball - this was a year's build - and now they just change course for a Main Event that basically came out of the blue? I don't get it.

Yeah, I was really enjoying TNA during the BFG series, but the momentum seems to have stalled recently in the lead up to the PPV. Aries' heel turn with the sudden Jeff Hardy feud has been disappointing. V's observation of the feud kinda sums it up. Aries was doing just fine. So what if Jeff Hardy is going to get the majority of the fan support. John Cena would struggle to keep up with Jeff in terms of fan support if they had a match. It does just seem like a waste of the hard work Aries put in to become a face and the champion.
Did the booing and dislike for Joey Ryan seem fake to anyone else? 87% of TNA fans used to love him. And why exactly does he need to be a bad guy here? He did get screwed after all.
I'm not happy about the amount of airtime Prichard has been getting recently. I think he is the mole for Bischoff and A+8s. I'm hoping Sting and Bully Ray are not involved in any way. Joseph Park / Abyss is a masochistic schizophrenic so they could twist things to have him involved with A+8s and be a part of their set-up.
I thought about complaining about King Mo, then realised that he isn't Pac-Man Jones. No one can possibly be as bad as that turd.
Hey, speaking of turds, if Devon is with A+8s and they become some massive group like then NWO, maybe he will bring his turd sons back in to the group with him. Imagine that, a stable with the Bischoffs and the Turds. That would be the worst.

I'm not happy about the amount of airtime Prichard has been getting recently. King Mo Devon You know, over the last couple of episodes I've been getting a strange feeling that they're going to do an "everything is connected" reveal at BFG (a la 10/10/10). It seems like there are a few disparate angles going on that don't quite make sense in isolation. Once the reveal happens they'll point back at, say, Aries suddenly acting weird and say "a-ha, that's why that happened". I don't really know what the reveal could be, though. Because as Champ already pointed out - and this being TNA - Sting picking Bully Ray to be his tag partner kinda seems to be a red herring.

I think BFG everything is going to come out of the wood works too. We're going to find out who the masked guys are, who in TNA is in on it and, yada yada
I'm at the point where I'll accept anyone as long as it's not fucking Bischoff. I'm so sick of that dick getting involved in takeover factions

I'm at the point where I'll accept anyone as long as it's not fucking Bischoff. I'm so sick of that dick getting involved in takeover factions The depressing thing is that Eric Bischoff is actually a logical reveal for the bikers' boss. In this case the logical thing is awful, and I'd prefer a bonkers plot twist. I mean, really, Aries vs Bully and Sting teaming with Jeff makes more sense than what they've booked, doesn't it? What better way for Jeff to continue his "redemption" than fighting to save the whole company against the invaders? I still think Dixie Carter would be an amusing twist. She brought in the bikers to keep Hogan, Sting and the roster on its toes rather than to "take over the company", which is usually what invaders are trying to achieve. It would explain why they're showing up all the time.

There will be crack. That is the only certainty. They have dragged the angle out for months now, so they probably will try to tie everything together into some big reveal at the PPV. I had forgot about the 10/10/10 stuff. Was Abyss getting half murdered when Crimson Janice'd him part of that genius plot to fool everyone? Owgh... here comes a headache two years in the making. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) No wait, that was after 10/10/10. I think. Given Aries' behaviour in the last few weeks, I can see him being aided by A+8s and retaining, then explaining that, despite being attacked by them earlier. they made him an offer he couldn't refuse and promised to help keep him as champion. "I did what was best for me, what's best for my bank account, and because I frankly don't care what you people think of me!" That'll be the promo he cuts in the ring as Eric Bischoff stands behind him with a dumb grin on his face.
