Cool. I suppose I better stay out of this thread from now as you guys will all be giggling like schoolgirls tomorrow at what happened in the first episodes, lol.
I don't really like watching one episode at a time on a weekly basis. Particularly with Lost because it often leaves you leaning in closer to the screen to see what is about to happen then... BHOH, the logo comes up and that is it for another week. It's frustrating. So I intend to start watching maybe a week or two before the final episode so I will have worked my way through them with everything still fresh in my memory for the finale.
Oh, I'll probably be armed with an essay when it's all over.
Also, one thing before I go. You all know I'm a Cyclops fan and wanted him back. I'm beginning to think that he probably died whenever he got killed the first time, and Moses also used him to do things like kill Charlie and stop the survivors from leaving the island.
Also, check out this vid for a quick recap. It's quite funny.
When you say spoilers Naitch, do you mean "don't discuss the results" or "don't post anything that hasn't aired yet?" Because I'm in 100% agreement that we NEVER post actual spoilers here. I would like to discuss the latest eps though
I mean stuff that hasn't aired. If you haven't seen an ep and its aired don't come in the thread. But I don't want to walk into something that will ruin a future ep for me. So stuff thats aired is fair game.
Oh I'm totally in agreement. I think when SM said "spoilers", he meant, everything that has aired is on the table and not to come to the thread if you haven't seen the aired eps and don't want to be spoiled. I definitely don't want spoilers on this thread unless it's hiding inside a link with a warning
The first 5 - 10 minutes(by the time the second main scene aired) I was like HELL YEAH, This season is going to rule! It was pretty much everything I was looking for to start this season. You had to expect that they were going to reset more than one time zone. That's the only possible way they could have linked it. I'm loving that they're giving us a whole new twist to the 815 flight! The coolest part about it is, it wasn't so much about whose theory was correct following the explosion. It was really more about, which part of the theory were you right about because everyone had to be right in some fashion about this. Infact, I remember saying at one point, maybe the explosion will land them back in 2007. Then again maybe they'll end up at the airport, who knows? But who the hell really saw coming two different realities occurring at the same time? I mean, sure, things can happen in 2 different times and it's not like THAT'S a surprise. But it's really going to be interesting to see if 2004 "happened" already. In other words, even though they reset 2004, there's a lot of new different things going on that I'm seeing molding itself to what's going on in 2007
The rest of the plane right turned out to be so interesting
- I still say something is up with Locke from day 1 on the island. The Smoke Lockester even said, he can tell Ben what Locke was thinking while he was strangling him. I still think Ben strangled Locke's body with the monster in it. The only 2 reasons I'm still convinced is because, 1 I don't ever recall Locke going face to face with the monster. I remember once seeing his face stare at something after they got to the island, but they didn't show what. Then there's that conversation Boone and Locke had on the plane. Locke came off like such a little wimp that was almost slightly intimidated by Boone, of all people. That's the Locke I recall in real life. It's still doesn't seem like the Locke from the island. Plus like I mentioned earlier, island Locke seemed too manipulative and even kind of hot dog. I can't see real life Locke giving Walt knives to practice with behind Michael's back. Even if the real Locke survived and walked again, he still became a seemingly different person all together. So I'm interested to see how much of what the "Lockester" said to Ben is true and if Ben did IN FACT kill the real Locke
- It's great to see Sawyer acting like a hot dog again. I'm hoping he steals Kate from "island Jack". "Island Jack" turned out to be the biggest stubborn asshole. It's even funny watching "815 Sawyer" hitting on Kate
- It's interesting in general to see how many things on 815 also changed from as soon as they were back in the air. Desmond ending up on the plane all clean cut was a twist right from the start. Up to that point I was trying to figure out if "815 Jack" was, totally clueless or if it was Jack from the island realizing he was successful, and maybe that was the twist(even though they were all back on the plane, only Jack and maybe a few others actually remember just being on the island while others are back to being 100% clueless). But when he and Desmond started talking you can tell they only looked familiar to eachother from the chat they had together while stadium running in LA. - Hurley told Sawyer on the plane that he's the "luckiest guy in the world" and "nothing bad happens to him". - Locke, as I mentioned, seemed too nice and weak willed like he always did before the crash. - Charlie ODing made me LOL for some reason. Then I thought about it and even that was interesting considering, during the original flight 815, Charlie got his fix and went to flush his stash right before the plane crash and didn't OD then. I guess they can always say, he was about to leave the bathroom and then took the stash out of the toilet and OD'd after the turbulence
- Does Boone piss anyone else off? I don't know what it is. He's like a tough guy, pretty boy who always gets owned in fights. That's actually funny. Looking back on the old seasons I never realized how much good Boone ownage there was. Shannon's boyfriend at home beat him up, Sawyer beat him up, Locke knocked him out and tied him up, and then the infamous nose dive in the heroin plane while calling for help
- One can only wonder now if there is a second Ben too. We know there's 2 Richards from last season. The double reality thing they showed us last night at least answered the question of why Richard was in 1977 and 2007 at the same time. Also, was Michael and Walt on the plane?
This season is TOTALLY going to rock out. The first eps of season 6 was like the coolest eps they've produced so far. I can only imagine how much this season is going to rule. I'm also SO glad I stuck it out through season 4! One thing I benefited from dating my ex Megan is, I probably never would have gotten into LOST if we didn't date. She had season 1 and kept insisting I watch it. That's when I told you guys I got through all 3 seasons in the 8 month span before season 4 aired. I can honestly say the entertainment LOST has given me and my interest and appreciation of the writing was the best thing that came out of that relationship! lol

By spoils I meant stuff that HAS aired and people should have watched the week it was on you know like Wrestlecrap whining about raw spoilers at 1105 PM Est.
Wow that was a lot in 2 hrs. I am also not convinced Jacob is a good guy, Who has he ever helped and why does he smugly ask people to help him ? Hes probably possessing Sayid's body already.
Apparently Juliet bumped them to 2007 as the rockets went up and Richard saw them so Jin is now in the same time as Sun and Lopenis from Ajira plane. You would think they appeared when Desmond blew the hatch bit they appeared in normal time after everyone escaped the island and only the ones that came BACK are alive there, and the others.
