Hmm, Naitch isn't as effusive about Lashley. I guess he's merely bi-curious for Lashley.

In a recent interview with Jonathan Snowden, UFC figher Nate Marquardt had the following to say about Bobby Lashley: "I train with two of the best heavyweights in the world, Shane Carwin and Brendan Schaub (a member of the next season of The Ultimate Fighter). And he’s not anywhere near them. I’ve trained with Bobby a couple of times and for some reason he doesn’t have a loyalty to our team. I’ve kind of written him off. I’m loyal to my guys."
For reasons like that I can see Brock killing Steroid

Lashley always struck me as he did MMA because he saw Brock succeed at it. Hes got a wrestling background but he hasn't fought any top name fighters like Brock has.

Lashley said he sees the holes in Brock's game and he knows he can beat him. The difference is Brock already backed it up. Lashley defeated Bob Sapp. He's still got a ways to go

If he beat Bob Sapp 7 years ago that would be something. Beating Bob Sapp in 2009 is like all the light heavyweights that have been fucking up Chuck Liddell lately. Brock taking out Randy Coutore and Frank Mir is a fucking statement of a lifetime. And that statement is only going to echo in October/November (I forget which month) if he beats Shane Carwin.

They are both still new to the game, and Brock has definitely done more than Lashley, but, champion or not, there is no way I'm wrapping my jaws around Brock's cock just yet and sucking him like he's the baddest man who ever walked the earth. Remember, Brock has still only had what, five fights? And lost one. Anyone else with a 2-1 record would not have got a title shot. Brock has been pushed on reputation and hype, and while I'm not doubting he has been very impressive, I think some of the praise he has got has been a little over the top.

Maybe a little but Brock has fucked up Randy Cotoure, Frank Mir and Heath Hearing. All very impressive wins no matter who you are.

I can just watch Brock in the octagon and tell he's a badass. I don't worship him or anything but he's definitely a big threat

I know absolutely nothing about UFC, so
do people give a shit about Lashley? With Lesnar he was the WWF Champion. I'd imagine there would be a difference in perception in the general public between "the guy who was a huge deal in pro-wrestling" and "the guy who was in pro-wrestling".

Lashley hasn't had a fight in the UFC yet. If you mean MMA in general then outside of wrestling fans, no. Brock impressed Dana with his first fight thats how he got in the UFC. Lashley, from what I've read, just kinda has a lay and pray game plan that has so far worked out for him.

Don't get me wrong though V. Lashley DOES have a shot at doing some damage in UFC. He just hasn't really proved himself to Dana yet. I would like to see more of what he's capable of. I think he could be 1 of 2 things
1. a threat
2. a flash in the pan
He's also one of those guys that once he receives that first big ass kicking, he'll never be heard from again. Whereas Brock doesn't give up until he proves he's the best

Speaking of UFC, TUF 10 starts Wednesday. Kimbo Slice appears on this season. Also a fight night to air live right before the start.

I'm glad you reminded me. At least I have something to watch on Wednesdays now until Lost starts. I also want to see how that big overrated piece of shit Kimbo Slice does for himself on the show

No problem man. Be sure to watch the Fight Night before TUF 10 starts. Nate Diaz vs Melvin Guillard should be a really fun fight to watch.
Also, I've actually heard of some of the fighters this season already and I think Kimbo might be getting fucked up before the finale. "Big Country" Roy Nelson is in this season and I think he has a decent chance of KO'ing Kimbo. Mike Wessel is also in this season and he has a pretty good ground game and if he can take Kimbo down its his fight.
