I was out on my bike up the hills and I stopped for a rest. I heard a plane coming towards me in the distance, which is nothing unusual because there are often planes and helicopters flying overhead. The plane I saw, it looked like one of the smaller ones that amateurs get lessons in and the route must take them over the hills. So it is getting closer and the engine in getting louder before it gets a little past me then... silence. The engine just cut out completely. I looked up in horror and it started spiralling downwards a few times and losing altitude. Then a big light at the front flashed and the engine kicked back in and the pilot managed to regain control and fly off again. For a few seconds though, I was getting ready to run.
I don't know much about flying planes, so it could have been some sort of staged emergency move, but I can't imagine you would ever kill the engine on a plane at any point.
I'm glad it didn't crash, but there is a small ghoulish part of me that wonders what it would have been like.

It was probably a super imposed toy plane. I totally understand the twisted side of any normal person actually being curious to see the plane crash. Of course we wouldn't want to see anyone die unless the plane was filled with killers, rapists, and writers from Monday Night Raw

If I knew it was full of RAW writers then I would have danced around the burning wreckage chanting praise and thanks to the Gods.

Its hard to tell model planes from real now did you know they make them up to 6 feet long? I have seen guys carting them around in trailers to assemble them at the field.
I was flying the other day and saw some illusions if you fly across a straight beach at an angle it starts to look like the horizon and it looks like you are climbing hard. and if there are clouds above you and hazy clouds below you you can't even tell which way was up. They say JFK junior died because he didnt look at his instruments but just looked out the window and flew into the water based on feelings.

Damn! You can send midgets around the country in that
Q: What did JFK miss most about Martha's vineyard before he crashed?
A: The landing strip

It was definitely a real plane because I see them flying around often. It was probably an amateur flying it and screwed up. I imagine they were absolutely shitting themselves inside for those few seconds when it started to spiral downwards.

I am not an expert on aircraft by any means but I do work on a airfield so I can tell you this. If the engine stalls they fall a couple hundred feet because it helps them restart the engine. Standered procedure and all that.

That sounds like what must have happened.
