Ric Flair, fresh off his appearances for WWE and WrestleMania 25 this past weekend, will be making another appearance for Ring of Honor at the company's TV tapings for HDNet tonight in Philadelphia, PA. Plus, details on Flair turning down a new offer from WWE after WrestleMania.
What a ungrateful prick.

I know what that offer is. He was asked to be GM of Smackdown

Whys he ungrateful? If you want to see him on TV you still can. ROH is turning out a pretty good show. And Flair isn't even a WWE name. Hes a NWA/WCW name.

I've never thought of Flair as a WWF/E guy.
How long does he intend to go about prostituting himself in high school gyms for any promoter who will write him a cheque?

I guess until WWE decides to match what he makes in those high school gyms. Because right now hes making more a year going to those gyms then what WWE is willing to pay him.

That's actually kind of sad because there's no way these little promotions should be able to pay him more than Vince does.
I honestly don't want to see Flair on tv anymore if he's going to be physical. He had the most awesome sendoff in wrestling history, and deservingly so. If he took the GM job I wouldn't have minded that at all as long as he didn't get physical with the wrestlers. When I saw Jericho tossing him everywhere and he was getting busted open and then taking backdrops at Wrestlemania that just really soured me.

Heres a flow chart on how this works Champ.
1. Flair becomes a mega name. 2. Flair retires. 3. Flair gets bigger and bigger offers from companies. It pays off in the end because those promotions then get bigger turn outs.
Its not that he gets more in one night its that he gets more in a year.

It's definitely worth the money because people WILL tune in to watch Flair

For most of the indies its not so much as tune in (hard when you don't have TV) as much as make a killing off of autographs and extra tickets. Flair doesn't come cheap. I read somewhere hes an insane amount to get. I'm not positive on this but I think he gets $60,000 per night and hes not even going to wrestle. And thats why hes not signing with WWE.

oh wow! That makes sense. I don't see how anyone can turn that down. If you do the math, if Flair were to even make a half mil a year as GM on Smackdown, he can make more in 9 indy nights a year. Vince has no reason to even try and match that. By turning down the WWE Flair can make the same amount as GM and still live a normal everyday life at home. It's hard to argue if even the most loyal guy in the WWE would even turn down $60,000 appearances over a role on WWE programming after retirement.

I wouldn't want him as GM anyway. Within a few weeks it would be -
"Now listen here, Jericho. Tonight, you're gonna go one on one with... ME! WOOOO!!!"

To top that Champ he made $100,000 doing one shoot interview with RF video. It turned out to be a 10 hour interview and 3 discs long. Hes just cashing in on his shining star before it burns out.

I wish someone would pay me $10,000 an hour to sit around stroking my dick.

Yeah exactly.
Flair: Tonight it's going to be Chris Jericho vs. The Naitcha boy WHOOOO Ric flair! Don't get the wrong idea, I'm still retired. I'm the GM so this match doesn't count as an active performance
