As a result of the "loser leaves town" match on Impact Petey Williams is infact finished with TNA. Supposedly he was already being released as of last week. No word on why
TNA has also released Lance Hoyt/Rock. He sucks anyway
Robert Roode's contract is up in late March/early April and WWE is showing interest in Roode. The word going around is TNA is going to do whatever they can to keep Roode happy since he's viewed as a big asset to the show.
Last but not least, Stevie Richards has signed with TNA! He is good friends with Terry Taylor. No word on what the company's plans are for him.

Why would WWE want Roode when they can have Storm?

I think it's only because Roode's contract is up. I don't think Storm's is up yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see WWE go after Beer Money if both men's contracts were up

I'm not impressed with Jimmy Rave and Petey Williams being fired.

I apologize. It appears as if I gave away a spoiler about Petey's last match. My cable box was fucked up and I missed Impact last week so I thought it happened then. I didn't know it was a gimmick match against Scott Steiner and not a loser leaves town match. Was the gimmick match accompanied with the "loser leaves" terms? Or is it that I just posted this week's spoilers by accident?

Last week Petey lost to Scott Steiner in a King Arthur Chainmail on a pole match. It was a pretty good match.

I've not been watching TNA the last few weeks. The last one I saw was where, at the end, the "real" Samoa Joe declared he was going to be returning. He looked like a half-assed Umaga. I just though, "Nah".
I want to watch for the cool things like Beer Money, Alex Shelley, MEM (to an extent), ODB, etc. I just can't handle the crap, as well as constantly being yelled at by the commentators.

TNA is a show you need to tape and fast forward through whatever segments bother you.
I also feel the same way about Raw and Smackdown.

Tenay and West really are idiots though. After Kurt cut his promo on Sting tonight, West says, I've never seen Kurt Angle that determined in my life. Meanwhile, when Kurt was going after Jeff Jarrett he was psychotically determined. Then Tenay says in all the 20 years he's known Sting personally and professionally he's never seen Sting that mad. I feel like say, shut the fuck up douches

That whole segment was friggin retarded. From the part where Angle no sold being dumped off the bleachers to the point where security (who were supposed to be removed from the building) on. I was expecting the Frontline to step in kick all kinds of ass but I guess they decided they were done with the battle.

They said Angle fell 15 feet. He was hanging from the bars and dropped about 5 feet.
Actually I have another little piece of news for this thread. Sonjay Dutt apparently is now done with TNA
Lance Rock and Jimmy Rave's superstar pics are back up on TNA's site but the general feeling is that they are going to lose to Beer Money so they can be written out of the program. But supposedly they are done with the company either way
At least the guys in TNA that are being released are guys I never really cared about , except for Petey Williams. If he goes to WWE I could definitely see him on the Ecw brand tearing it up against Evan Bourne

He dropped 15 feet in kayfabe and should have sold it as such.
Sonjay will be fine. The dude gets indy jobs like crazy.
I don't care about Lance being fired but I want Jimmy to stay. I've never seen whole crowds despise someone like the ROH crowd did with Rave. It was like Jimmy just drove around the country between shows and jumped out of closets and kicked ROH fans in the nuts when they first woke up. Some shows I actually feared for his health a little.
Petey Williams should and deserves a shot with WWE. If they're is one thing he proved during his last match in TNA its that he is a pro. He didn't phone it in or act angry with the company. I don't see Petey gaining 17 lbs so they shouldn't Bradon him.

Doesn't Lance Hoyt look like a giant parrot?
