A lost Jimi Hendrix recording was found!
World Entertainment News Network has reported that a lost Jimi Hendrix album with rocker Stephen Stills has been discovered more than 30 years after it was recorded.
Stills recently found the recordings and his Crosby, Stills And Nash bandmate Graham Nash is helping him prepare it for release.
Nash commented, "He has an enormous history of recording. In the '70s, he was a recording fool. He just found a bloody album he made with (Jimi) Hendrix. 'Oh yeah, I forgot that.' We've got to listen to that... I want to listen to every track he ever recorded in case he recorded with Al Jolson."

That's pretty interesting. I hope he was heavy on the drugs when he recorded it. I'm sure it will be cool, but I hope they do the release right.

Cool, let's hope it's not some half-assed recording and some real new songs.

This could be anything really. For all we know it could be 3 hours of Jimi strumming his guitar with his dick. Whatever is on it though, no matter how good, won't live up to the hype.

speaking of good music news. I hear Metallica's new album is expected to be a lot like their older material. Two of my friend's heard pieces of their music. KOAG said it sounds really heavy. I hope they drop an awesome album on us. It's not like they don't have it in them. They just did a shitty job reinventing themselves

Other good music news is Tool is working on another album too.
Metallica will be dropping a single in the next 14 days.

Wow, the last album is still new to me because I still haven't heard much of it and they are working on another one already? Good for them for going full force. I just heard stuff from their last album and I was disappointed. We'll see. Maybe they're going to rock the shit out of their next album too

10,000 Days tool a couple listens but after that your suddenly like what a great fucking album.
Tenacious D is 1 and a half songs into there next album. They don't know when it will be finished because they can't rush greatness.

I don't doubt it. I was probably disappointed because I heard the shitty songs on the albums and not the ones with the true Tool signature

By shitty ones do you mean the tracks that are just noises? All the real songs are pretty good on the album.

you posted a song up here about a year or so ago with one of their songs and even you said it wasn't one of the better ones. Those are the few types of tracks I heard. I think I need to hear the whole album

Yeah dude, I only heard it once when I posted it. The album wasn't out at that point. Like all Tool albums its, its own sound. Instead of being dark like Undertow or all pissed off like Aenima its like three diffrent sounds going on. All of them work. But like Salivial and Latueralis after a couple listens its like an old friend.
