I don't think you're daft, but I really just don't get it. At all. Really, listening to that kind of music for an hour or so would be close to my own personal hell. Doing it out of your own free will is simply beyond me. That kind of stuff really drills holes through my skull. The closest thing to that I would listen to would be something like Air or Daft Punk, but when it crosses over to just the sounds from an orgy of trippin' robots, I'm outta there!

I guess that my ears are more attuned to it because of the kind of music I listen to. I do listen to electronic acts like Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and The Orb. So I guess it's less of a shock to me.
I'm also open to giving something weird and strange a chance. That's not to say I always like weird and strange things.

Yeah, I wouldn't dismiss something without trying to understand it first, but my aural taste buds are not appeased by that sort of music.
As I mentioned before, I do like Air and Daft Punk, especially accompanied by the videos such as these two brilliant vids -
Hey, I like that Grandmaster Flash song, too. The message. That's kinda electro-ish rap.
"Broken glass everywhere! People pissing on the stage you know they just don't care."
That's got to be the best 2 sentences in a verse ever, lol.

Oh, I suppose another electro band I can listen to is O.M.D. My dad had a tape of one of their albums in the car when I was younger and he always had it on. Always! Seriously, I think it was the only tape he had. So I had to learn to accept their music.

I used to have that Air record, I don't know what happened to it.
This is Boards of Canada, kind of in the same vein. Even if you don't like the track it's got a pretty cool video, simple idea really:
Prefuse 73:
This... um... heh. This isn't one of my favourite tracks but the video is fucking sweet:

I finally heard a good 5 songs from Chinese Democracy and it's actually pretty cool! I actually am not crazy about the actual song but now that I got to hear more it's good because every song is different but they flow somehow. Axl is a genius like that. That song "Better" is awesome!

What the?!
Gantz Graf must be German for Sadistic Epilepsy Test.
"Better" is one of the better songs from the new GNR album.

I have a feeling after hearing the album I'll definitely agree with you on that because "Better" is definitely a really good song and it's very original, one thing Axl is more awesome at than most(originality)

Let me know what you guys think of this melodic masterpiece, lol. In all honesty, I've heard worse things than that before. That was quite jaunty! This is a song I've got into recently: www.imeem.com/people/tJg52VN/music/BzHrge1L/pere-ubu-folly-of-youth/It's probably just me, but: "I want to be... your suitcase. I want to hang around inside your greyhound terminal" is the funniest lyric I've heard in a while.
