I never even knew how Pete Steele died. So I just looked it up. I figured since he was only 48, he was another one that OD'd. But it turns out that he was clean and sober the last few years.
According to wiki,
He(Steele) had suffered from clinical depression for which he had received occasional psychiatric treatment. During 2005, Steele had disappeared for an extended time with no explanation. Rumors of his death, terminal illness, and other speculations increased until the mystery was dispelled in an interview on the 2006 DVD Symphony for the Devil. In the interview Steele briefly mentions his incarceration in Riker's Island and "the psych ward at Kings County Hospital".
Steele had served the initial prison term for assaulting a love rival. Upon his release, family members staged an intervention and insisted he check into a mental institution. Steele later confirmed he had been suffering from paranoia caused by his heavy substance abuse. Steele soon made light of the situation by performing live while wearing a prison uniform.
Steele made his final recording on the 2007 album Dead Again. He later revealed on MTV's Headbangers Ball that the new alliance with SPV Records was probably his favorite thing about Dead Again from a production standpoint. Steele performing in Berlin with Type O Negative.
In April 2007, Steele revealed that he began identifying himself as Roman Catholic in recent years, after decades of self-professed atheism. In an interview with Decibel magazine, Steele explained:
“There are no atheists in foxholes, they say, and I was a foxhole atheist for a long time. But after going through a midlife crisis and having many things change very quickly, it made me realize my mortality. And when you start to think about death, you start to think about what’s after it. And then you start hoping there is a God. For me, it’s a frightening thought to go nowhere. I also can’t believe that people like Stalin and Hitler are gonna go to the same place as Mother Teresa.”
[edit] Death
Peter Steele died of heart failure on April 14, 2010 at the age of 48. Prior to his death, Steele had been enjoying a long period of sobriety and improved health and was imminently due to begin writing and recording new music.
That's unfortunate man. I hate hearing about people cleaning their lives up and heading on the right path and that's when their heart fails

Yeah, that's always unfortunate when someone gets themselves on the right path after a long time suffering, only for their past to rapidly catch up on them and swipe their new-found hopes away.
He left some really good songs behind though, and his voice was great.

His voice fit his size too. He was 6'8 and had that really deep giant voice. The dude posed in Playgirl too in 1995. From what I hear my lady rock friends were very impressed. I never asked any questions about it because, well, dudes shlongs just aren't an interesting topic for me.....unless someone dresses it in a suit and makes me LOL

I just google searched "Pete Steele" and two of the first five images that show up are him with his cock in his hand. Pretty creepy pics.
Kinda regretting that now.

Wee wee might not be the best way to describe it.

I remember hearing this about ten years ago. It's not a song, just a fictional parody.

I quite like some songs when they are done with 8-bit audio. Imagine sitting playing Streets of Rage II with that tune playing along. It would be great.

I think I might have posted this before, but the Moog Cookbook did something in a similar vein, playing tracks using only analogue synthasisers Also, OKAY BOY, LET ME HEAR YOU SPELL WILMSLOW
