I was in attendance so will add notes to the spoons. I met Big E and had a pic taken with the champ. He is 5'8" Alexander Rusev defeated an unknown wrestler in the dark match.( they pranked RUSEV by turning on Emmas bubbles for his ramp walk, he stayed in character and slapped the bubbles) May 1st Episode: * Tyson Kidd defeated Bo Dallas. * Sasha Banks with Charlotte defeated Bayley in a match for the NXT Women's Title tournament. (Banks has an extremely tight and cute body, sick new finisher) * Adam Rose defeated Danny Burch. Camacho appeared during Rose's post-match party. * Natalya defeated Layla in a match for the NXT Women's Title tournament. (Natalya looks cuter in person) * Mojo Rawley defeated Oliver Grey. Aiden English came out after the match and cut a promo on Mojo.(I got some Nikolai chants and catcalls going then some chant for THANK YOU AIDEN for trying to save us from this football garbage goof) * Adrian Neville defeated Brodus Clay in a No Disqualification match for the NXT Title. May 8th Episode: * Triple H kicks off the episode with an in-ring promo. He talks about how NXT is the future and is taking over. He hypes the live Takeover special for May 29th on the WWE Network. He also announces a battle royal to determine a new #1 contender to the NXT Title.(HHH was extremely warmly received and said he loves NXT Orlando, and the future is here. He said the Shield, Wyatts, Damien, Paige and Cesaro are the guys) * Charlotte defeated Emma in a match for the NXT Women's Title tournament. (Emma put a sock on her hand eliciting Boos, then hit the Cobra on Sasha, Charlotte then pinned Emma) * Kalisto and El Local (Ricardo Rodriguez) defeated The Legionnaires (Sylvester Lefort & Marcus Louis). * Camacho defeated Captain Comic from Adam Rose's group of party people. Camacho had a confrontation with Rose after the match. (Our correspondent originally said Hunico had a confrontation with Rose. We apologize for the error.)(LOL at the same time I texted Beastista that Hunico attacked the partygoers too) (the crowd was told he was the masked rosebud, I guess the announcers in May decided that he would be Captain Comic) * Alexa Bliss defeated Alicia Fox in a match for the NXT Women's Title tournament.(Bliss was very tiny but extra fuck yeah cute) * Up next is a battle royal to determine a new #1 contender to the NXT Title. Participants are Xavier Woods, Brodus Clay, Baron Corbin, Curt Hawkins, Aiden English, Jason Jordan, Danny Burch, Oliver Grey, Marcus Louise, Sylvester Lefort, Big Cass, Camacho, Mason Ryan, Kalisto, El Local, Mojo Rawley, Sami Zayn, Yoshi Tatsu, Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas and Tyson Kidd. Zayn, Breeze and Kidd were all eliminated last at the same time. Triple H comes out and announces a triple threat between them to crown the #1 contender. (Jason Jordan eliminated Mojo, eliciting THANK YOU JASON chants LOL) * The Ascension defeated Buddy Murphy and an unknown wrestler. (the luchadors came out and called out ascension after) May 15th Episode: * Charlotte defeated Alexa Bliss in a finals match for the NXT Women's Title tournament. * Mojo Rawley defeated Aiden English. ( I got some Mojo sucks chants going and joined others) * Big Cass defeated Angelo Dawkins. * Tyson Kidd defeated Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn in a triple threat to become the new #1 contender to the NXT Title. May 22nd Episode: * Paige defeated Tamina Snuka. * Adam Rose defeated Camacho. * Natalya defeated Sasha Banks with Charlotte in a finals match for the NXT Women's Title tournament. It will be Natalya vs. Charlotte for the title at Takeover.* Adrian Neville defeated Curt Hawkins. (I had no fucking idea this was hawkins, hes got short hair and sparky plugg racing tights now) * Tyson Kidd comes out for an in-ring confrontation with Neville to hype their match at Takeover. * Big E defeated Bo Dallas. The stipulation was that if Bo won, he got a NXT Title shot and if he lost, he has to leave NXT. (We chanted for both guys then when Bo had a complete tantrum meltdown when eliminated from NXT. We chanted Thank you BO) Read more at www.lordsofpain.net/reports/wwe/LIVE_SPOILERS_FOR_WWE_NXT_EPISODES_IN_MAY.html#CQs5ziJ8Fc1BHMlQ.99

So Adam Rose's Party People are actually a wrestling stable with goofy names? Because I would freaking LOVE it if it was. Sounds like a lot of fun.
That sounds dumb
NXT Title >>> Intercontinental Title. I like that totally random people can be #1 Contender and it be a big deal.
I'm a little bit confused, did Paige have to vacate the NXT title? And if so, why? Because Natalya was challenging for the Deeeevvvvvaaaasss title recently. I'm not quite seeing the logic in that

JBL took Paiges title on last nights NXT, but broadcast to our Taping as well so when she came out it was with one belt and from the month of May. Its Charlotte vs Natalya at NXT Takeover May 29th for the NXT Women's belt. Some other notes, They really shoved Mojo down our throats and the fans started turning on him, with my help. No Graves present. Bayley was very over and came out with new Air dancers on both sides of the Ramp. ![](http://www.texasskydancers.com/red-sky-dancer-for-web%5B1%5D.gif)

Thank you for destroying mojo SM! I'm glad it's catching on!
I can't stand mojo rawley. If the guy "stayed hyped" and looked like the ultimate warrior I might appreciate it because it shows "staying hyped" pays off through hard work. All "staying hyped" tells me with mojo is he speeds around in a Chevy pickup truck, eating mcdonalds, drinking red bulls and throwing his garbage out the window, while compensating for a small dick. Seriously, if you're going to have a high school football gimmick like that, at least look good doing it, or be a fucking heel! I think the fact that he's a face is what makes this so hard to watch. He's a total fucking clown.
I'm looking forward to Bo Dallas on Raw. When I first saw him I though he was amusing at best. But I am starting to see there are a lot of different directions they can have him go in and there are a lot of guys on the roster he could mesh well with. I do find it very entertaining(in my head) that he's bray Wyatt's real life brother and IRS is their dad.
Speaking of Bo and Bray being second generation stars, slightly off topic, I just want to say kudos to wwe and both guys for establishing these identities without bringing up the cheap "second generation" bullshit. Seriously, when is the last time a guy got over based off being "a second generation superstar"? The best guys have their own identity. Bo and Bray couldn't possibly be anymore opposite and they both have a lot of potential. It's actually a really cool thing. That's one thing I really like about Roman Reigns too. Not once did they ever suck his dick because he's The Rock's cousin or Sika's son, or Rosie's brother...well no one gave a shit about Rosie. But typically, you would expect wwe to bring Reigns in as sika miavia or something really fucking lame like that. Instead, he's fierce bastard roman reigns. See, was that so hard? Give them their own path and let them walk it. If they fail then it wasn't meant to be.
Well I guess Charlotte is going to be NXT women's champ. Charlottes good but she's just tough to look at lol. She looks like she was once a man. The fact that she's taller and more ripped than her dad doesn't help.
I wonder why no Corey graves for a month. He seems like one of the most promising guys they've got. This dude is like a cross between edge and snake Roberts. That sounds weird, but I mean that in a really good way. He's got that edge look with that jake psychology. I think his ring work leaves a little to be desired though. He's not terrible, but not exactly exciting either, just kind of bland. But the gimmick, charisma, and mic work is pretty much all there to be a major player. He gets by in his matches based on that, which is something a lot of guys don't have. He probably just needs more experience in NXT and he can be great.
I agree with V that if some of Adam's "rosebuds" are also guys that are going to have matches and take bumps, that can be really fun. One of them is Eugene, so he will probably be one of them. I can imagine some entertaining shit with 3mb already, not Wyatts or shield though. They'd piss all over the rosebuds.
One thing I have to say about Adam rose though, I've seen him wrestle a couple times now and he is next to awful in the ring. He's entertaining as hell but if he has a match that goes past 3 minutes, it gets tough to watch. I can't possibly see how he could ever go for 15-20 min and keep it interesting. He does that thing where he does 4-5 rolls around his opponent and gets the crowd going. Other than that, I've see him beat 2 guys with an explosive clothesline and another guy with the Bret hart elbow off the rope, the same elbow Bret never pinned anyone with. Other than that, he just punches and does a spot where he "gets mad" and gets aggressive and starts brawling leading up to the finisher. Honestly, that's all I've ever seen out of him. He does have athleticism but it's as if he has zero idea how to be creative with any kind of move set. I guess we will see. One thing I can guarantee is he's going to be a lot of fun for about a month. After that, I can't say.
Sami zayn is going to have some excellent matches if he gets to Raw. He's something special in the ring. But he's captain generic(no pun intended with his el generico gimmick). He really is so fucking uninteresting as a personality and his music is no different. He's basically just a guy who lives on earth, is great at wrestling, and seems like a nice guy. He just screams lost midcarder. If he doesn't discover a different gimmick, he will absolutely be the guy that's going to lead the next generation of zigglers, Codys, and kofis.
Tyler breeze is good too. He's a guy that can be really good at getting faces over. He's not world champion material but he's the kind of guy that can weasel out a midcard title win and it be acceptable or he could form a great tagteam with another narcissist.
I like NXT a lot. TNA makes them look like wrestlemania, so it's nice to have another good show to watch
SM said Lana looks really hot in person. He sent me a pic and her legs and ass are incredible.
But SM occupied the fucking network for 2 months on NXT now!

I have to confess something: I was one of the seven people who really enjoyed WCW's Misfits In Action stable, so if they can recreate something on those lines then it doesn't really matter if most of them are jobbers.

RE: Adam He confused the fans so much at these tapings. First match he had us doing two hands waving then wanted us to TOOT TOOT but he didnt Toot clothesline, he did a bronco buster. Second match he was angry at Camacho/Hunico and worked a different style and barely interacted with the fans. I don't think he KNOWS who his own character is.
A good thing about a 562 person mini Arena is you can get facial ques from the performers, When Trips got a polite YES chant he almost smiled. When Adam looked up at the crowd and made his furious face he got a big reaction.
The WWE stars get a much bigger pop in NXT, so they ARE higher tier performers but have to work with large arenas full of barely engaged fans.
NXT stars are more green, but work with fans that are giving back and try to get as many of them over as possible.
So a guy that works well in NXT could flop in Raw or vice versa.
I could see Bo or Adam totally failing on Raw, or not. Paige will succeed because the WWE Divas are mostly old and played out.

I agree 120% With your NXT/Raw theory with the big crowds and smaller crowds SM. I think there really is no way of telling if an NXT star is going to do well on raw or not. Going by their performance on NXT, you know who to give the opportunity to. But how well they will do on Raw as opposed to NXT, I don't think anyone really knows.
That brings me to what you said about Paige. She had this ass kicking IT factor on NXT. She almost seems like a small fish in a big pond and seems completely uncomfortable with the divas title on raw. It must be a lot of pressure being in her spot. I think with some time she will get better. If she can bring that mean edge she had on NXT to raw, she will really shine. I think she can eventually do good things as a heel if that time comes.
Adam is RIDICULOUSLY over on NXT. But he might go to raw and the crowd could be bored to shit or just think his whole schtick is just corny and lame. I think you make a really strong point that raw fans are just that, fans. But NXT "fans" are really more of the fans giving back to the business and helping wwe get newer stars on the path to success. But once they get to raw, the training wheels are off. I honestly think the bolieve gimmick is going to go over better on raw than NXT. But I think Adam rose isn't going to be nearly as over on raw. Then again, I could easily be wrong

I do sometimes wonder why WWE doesn't mix in some smaller venues for Raw/Smack, rather than doing one gigantic faceless stadium after another.
The Shield's entrance/gimmick is perfect for the Stadium Rock arena. Same for Fandango. Even the Funkasaurus intro worked in that setting. Whether the Party People would have the same effect in a less intimate setting is a fair question. Everything has to be so much bigger to fill the space.

Then there is the cost and inconvenience of having Adam's entourage. WWE does not normally fly a dozen developmental kids and full sail students around to every arena.

Oh yeah that's a good point. They'll prob have to scoop up guys from the back or hire locals every week. It's been done before

After watching Adam twice last week at Full Sail I am pretty sure he will bomb miserably in WWE arenas full of texting/eating fans.

After watching Adam twice last week at Full Sail I am pretty sure he will bomb miserably in WWE arenas full of texting/eating fans. You know, I thought his debut last night was reasonably successful. The crowd wasn't going crazy, but there were people singing along after the music stopped, which is a very good sign. It wasn't the greatest segment ever but it was way better than Paige's debut.

Adam did well in a bad city (Albany) and was very energized to finally be on RAW.
I still think his character will bomb in wwe.

It's hard to say because I originally thought huge success. Then I thought, he's going to bomb. But then I'm thinking of how you measure success.
First, I'm getting the Brodus clay dancing vibe as a measuring stick for this gimmick. Depending on your idea of success, you can say Brodus dancing gimmick WAS a success. World title material? Hell no. But world title picture doesn't always mean success. I would say the Mountie was successful even though he was a big goof.
I'm coming to this conclusion. I think Adams gimmick will be successful. I think he will be over for a short period but will be jobbing on superstars eventually. It's going to be a successful low midcard gimmick that will run it's course. The good thing about Adam though is he is fully capable of successfully repackaging when it gets to that point. If any of you have ever seen his Leo Kruger gimmick you will know what I mean.

Yeah, I would definitely classify the Funkasaurus as a success. With so many hours of TV to fill, getting 2 years out of a gimmick and having it be even reasonably over is a good result. 2 years is enough for a gimmick to run its course too.
I would say longevity is a pretty good measure of success. With so many hours of TV to fill etc etc I would say 2 years of consistent appearances qualifies as "longevity" these days. That's why Funkasaurus, 3MB, even Kofi Kingston are all successes and nobody remembers Eric Escobar, Kizarny or Braden Walker (all bombs), and why I would classify Muhammad Hussan as a failure (but not a bomb), even though Hussan had some memorable moments. Another example of a failure-but-not-a-bomb is Ezekiel Jackson, again, he had some memorable moments but he was MIA for most of his contract.
I have a hard time seeing Adam bombing, just because his act is interesting enough for the short term. So I think I agree with your assessment, Champ. He has upside (especially if his stable has legs) but maybe not a high ceiling.
