I really just wanted you all to know I wasn't dead. I can't believe it's been 4 years since I last was here! Everything's been really good with me. I passed the bar and am practicing in southern Indiana. I got married, so that's cool. But probably the biggest news is that we're expecting our first baby in September!
The reason I stopped coming around is I basically stopped watching wrestling from 2010 until probably last summer. Sure I checked in every now and again to keep somewhat current but it all seemed the same. But I've been watching most Raws now and I just so happened to stumble upon this again so I figured I'd try and jump back in.
So how's everyone else been?

Congrats on the Bar and the kid, take lots of videos because Babies sometimes do cute stuff only ONCE. I am doing OK still at the same job and my daughter is in karate. I am enjoying the WWE NETWORK and going to all NXT tapings in Winter Park FL. WWE is back on the upswing I think and I hope you stick with it.

Well now everything with the Shield and Daniel Bryan outweighs all of the Cena crap that has unbearable before.

Yeah man congrats! That's awesome! I remember you were single and working on the bar. Amazing
I had a pretty epic 4 yrs myself actually. I decided to take on the cm punk SES lifestyle. You probably remember me as a 420 guy lol. I haven't drank, or done anything recreational in 3 yrs 9 months. I have really kicked up the gym and dieting, planning to compete for powerlifting. I was in a relationship and now single again. I grew my hair long like old undertaker(like bray Wyatt length), cut it all off a year ago and now it's at my shoulders again kind of like dan Bryan, but neater lol. So I guess a lot can happen in 4 yrs!
All that aside, I've been reading and seeing YouTube videos of people blaming cena solely for a bad 8 yrs. I don't look at it that way. I look at it more like he was the measuring stick and flag bearer for the shittiest era we've ever had. The truth is, cena turned out not to be THAT bad. He was booked terribly, but his work got better and he really stepped up for the company and took everything everyone had to throw at him. But honestly, there was nobody else Really amazing that was stepping up and knocking him off. You can say wwe "buried everyone" for cenas benefit. But the wwe fans have a voice. People were booing cena but only a handful were getting behind certain guys. Dan Bryan is living proof that all you gotta do is get over with the high majority of the fans and take that top spot. Right now, We have a group of guys that aren't necessarily dethroning cena but, they ARE demanding air time and the crowd wants to see it. That's what it is really about. It's not so much "taking cenas spot" as it is being really good enough to demand he at least has share the spotlight with you. That's what it was like in the Austin era. He was the best part of the show but rock, taker, triple h, Kane, and mankind were saying, yeah he's good but so are we, and they proved it. Let's be real, Alberto del rio, kofi Kingston and miz don't compare to these guys, but competed on that level because they were all we had. The shield, bray Wyatt, and dan Bryan are perfect examples of why it wasn't JUST CENA that ruined that era. Hell even Orton and Batista are becoming interesting again. The new guys made them fresh too.
It's definitely a good time to start watching again. This is WWE's most promising year since the invasion in 01

In hindsight I definitely see it. And I certainly don't want to disrespect Cena in terms of his work ethic. He's absolutely busts his ass to be at the top of the company. At the time there just wasn't anyone else I cared about, so it was hard to watch only Cena. But that not his fault. Now there's a lot else to keep me interested, and it feels like the WWE may have turned the corner.
And I'm glad that everyone is doing well.
