Batista and Punk are the last two in the ring, but they do the double-elimination. Then the buzzer rings for #30, and out strolls Triple H.

I have had a rumbling fear for some months now that Triple H was going to wrangle something before WrestleMania in order to insert himself into the main event. I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happens. For me the obvious outcome is for Daniel Bryan to win. I don't even want to think about the possibility of Batista winning. This time tomorrow I have a feeling we will be talking about something unexpected that happened at the Rumble. Whether it's a Triple H win, Brock Lesnar entering himself and winning, Cena losing his match then winning the Rumble, etc.

For me the obvious outcome is for Daniel Bryan to win. I don't even want to think about the possibility of Batista winning. This time tomorrow I have a feeling we will be talking about something unexpected that happened at the Rumble. When will you ever learn MS? Don't you know Vince hates you? I have to admit, I was completely disgusted with tonight. Ok...you've got a long term plan set in place that involves Batista competing for the wwewhc. Fine. That's acceptable. I understand it has to be nearly impossible to alter 3 months of a bunch of plans that we know nothing about yet to please the crowd over one particular winner. But, Jesus Christ, let's be real now, they couldn't even let Daniel Bryan's music hit, have him walk through the curtain, and enter the match, even for a fucking minute?! Now THAT is unacceptable. This was CLEARLY the only major thing all the PAYING FANS asked for tonight. Sure they would've wanted him to win but everyone knows it doesn't always go down like that. The guy we want to win doesn't always win. That's part of the driven fun in sports entertainment. But god dammit, PUT HIM IN THE DAMN MATCH! What really got me is, JBL was the 24th entrant(or something around that) just for a comedy spot. They didn't need to do that. Yeah it was kind of funny, and the crowd chanting, "you still got it" after he did absolutely nothing, was pretty damn brilliant lol. But you gotta look at the bigger picture. That was a perfect opportunity to work Bryan in. So Batista wins, the fans booed, and rightfully so. It wasn't his fault. He just happened to be at the right place at the WRONG fucking time. It also didn't help that Roman Reigns was a fucking stud tonight and stole the show in this match. But, I think if dan was at least in the match, the crowd would have been a little more accepting of the outcome. If you listened, Batista and sheamus both got huge pops coming out, especially sheamus. But then they both got booed out of the building at the end. Or, should I say Vince, trips and the entire wwe got booed because THEY FUCKED UP BIG. Now let's back it up a bit. Randy Orton vs John Cena. This match should never EVER happen again. Enough already! Put it to bed. In their defense, again, this is wwe's fault. It's damn near impossible for a Randy Orton and John Cena match to be exciting ever again. They could've flown a fucking airplane filled with 200 gorgeous whores to the ring and this match still would've been rejected by the fans. But, I will give them credit for their efforts. They gave us a little taste of the attitude era with hitting each other's finishers and stuff. They did what they could. With that said, aside from the fact that no one gave a shit and a "this is awful" chant broke out, THEY WERE CHANTING DANIEL BRYAN, EVEN THEN! For fucks sake, they had every opportunity and time to make this somewhat right! You're getting a Daniel Bryan chant before the rumble while your "2 biggest stars" are having a match and you still couldn't make room for him to enter? Any fucking imbecile would have said, well you know, there is that number 24 entrant with JBL going in just to get thrown out for a funny spot. But Daniel Bryan entering the match seems to be a much bigger deal. We have an hour to work Bryan into that slot. But no, again wwe knows what's best for their fans. I also want to add in, before I forget, big show and Brock had a much more interesting night together than I expected too. I thought I didn't want to see this match and It held my interest completely. From bell to bell, it was short, but overall done well. I could praise The big show, 7' 450lbs pushing 42 yrs old taking 40+ tough chair shots from a beast of a human being. I actually felt bad for him. Say what you want about the Big Show but, Paul Wight was the fucking man tonight. Ironically, the best match of the night, simply by crowd reaction, by far, was....well holy shit, it was Dan Bryan vs Bray Wyatt. Go figure! Even all the way at the beginning of the night wwe should've made room for Bryan in the rumble. God damn, I feel like this is some big fucking on going joke the more I think about it! The craziest ironic thing about this shit show tonight is, all the performers did a very acceptable job, considering what they were working with and against. Hell, I think I even have a heterosexual crush on roman reigns after tonight. I found myself wanting him to throw Batista into the bleachers when it was down to the two of them, and obviously, I wasn't the only one. And...I was just fine with the match Bryan had earlier in the night. I, personally was able to accept him not being in the rumble. But I can't help but still feel insulted as a long time viewer and fan after how they treated their fans in attendance tonight. That may as well have been any one of us they spat in the face of. Wwe is so god damn stubborn and spiteful they charge well over $100 for ppv floor seats now, and they couldn't even give these people a fraction of what they asked for when it EASILY could've been done. So tonight I can comfortably say, FUCK YOU WWE AND we got no fucking bad news Barrett on top of it!

My quick run through of the PPV:
New Age Outlaws vs Coldust: Forgot about pre-shows and missed it.
Daniel Bryan vs Bray Wyatt: Early match of the year candidate.
Brock vs Show: That was short and sweet and a lot of fun to watch. I was hoping the announcers would change the name of the F-5 to F-5 brought to you by Jimmy Johns.
Cena vs Orton: This match made me laugh. First because the crowd just shitting on it. Then because those two were obviously trolling the crowd.
Rumble Match: The rumble is like sex or pizza, even when it's bad it's good. It became obvious once Rey was in, the only two possibilities were Punk or Batista. With that said I enjoyed several things.
1. Roman Reigns, that dude just entering the ring was fucking shit up. Quite a showing.
2. Mexican Hornswoggle, it was brief and it was fun, Punk and Ambrose were golden.
3. Zeb Coulter, all he did was show two signs but his moments were brilliant.
4. Kofi Kingston not being eliminated and then getting back in the ring.
5. The NXT guy getting the Bo Dallas rub was fun.
The only thing that could have made this Rumble go from meh to unforgettable was after Rey came out that Bad News Barrett came out and told us "I'm afraid I have some bad news, Daniel Bryan isn't coming out."
BUT, the best part was my twitter feed right after the event. All of these fans complaining to the wrestlers that I follow and Lance Storm making fun of them. Tommy Dreamer was having a field day with them. Shane Helms was fantastic at making sarcastic observations. That was better then the actual show to me. Then I saw WWE retweet Batista's tweet that read, if some one finds my head mail it back to me, Sheamus kicked it into the front row. But the best tweet goes to Tensi right after the show ended he tweeted "But I got number 32."

If they had bad news Barrett give bad news that Bryan was not entering, that would've probably flipped my overall opinion upside down because that would've been too awesome to ignore lol.
But like I mentioned and you said Naitch, even the stuff that sucked was good. It was a weird night. I was totally with the fans with Orton and cena at first, then when they basically switched roles towards the end I really started appreciating them and it came to the realization that this suck fest really wasn't their faults.

even the stuff that sucked was good. Exactly, everything was good in its own way. Bryan vs Bray was good in a match of the year kind of way. Lesnar vs Show was good in a perverse way, while furthering the Brock is a bad ass. Orton vs Cena's biggest flaw was it was something like the 17th time this match has happened on PPV. The Rumble match gets shit on for not having D Bry in it. But the good counter argument on this is, D Bry was never actually advertised for that match.

I read an article yesterday that Bryan not being in the rumble was actually done purposely as a part of the storyline we saw on Mondays raw that's going to lead to mania. But wwe admitted they didn't anticipate the crowd shitting all over the rumble over it. But this is where they actually are idiots. You can't expect to be in one of these ECW cities and NOT expect the crowd to want guys like Bryan and punk to wrestle the whole night and to shit all over guys like cena, Orton, and Batista.
Honestly, those type of fucking fans get on my nerves now. The reason I stuck up for the rumble is because they deserved to have Bryan in the rumble since they're the ones who paid for it and I was caught up in the heat of the moment. But I'm looking back at my rant and I admit I kind of went overboard. Naitch said it best, Bryan never was advertised for the rumble and it's not like he was kept off the ppv. He delivered a 5 star match. So technically the fans did get their money's worth. I think I would just like to see wwe go the extra mile for their fans once in a while.
But, aside from the whole rumble incident, the "we only cheer for talented wrestlers" guys really need to get over themselves. They are such marks that just don't know how to go for the ride. They're just hung up on the same fucking 4 or so guys for years. The main reason it pisses them off when their guy doesn't get pushed is because wwe is no selling their "smart knowledge". These fucking guys think they're talent scouts but really don't get the big picture. Here, let me give a great example....
Take the shield. I've been reading a lot of articles and posts involving the "smarks" saying that roman reigns is the worst member of the shield because Ambrose is a great talker and worker, and Rollins has very exceptional athletic skills. But both are better than reigns on the mic and in the ring. Ok....before my brain starts to hurt and I get aggravated, let me say this and try to keep it as simplified as possible. When Ambrose talks, it's a breath of fresh air because the guy is a real character and you always feel interested in everything he has to say. We don't get many like him anymore. When I see Rollins in the ring, I'm excited about the future of some of the matches we are going to see. I feel like he's a natural. He reminds of, dare I say, a younger CM Punk. Now take roman reigns....When the guy turns his head and simply looks at his opponent it gives me chills. When he talks, even with his "lackluster mic skills", I feel like he's hungry and means business. When he hits a spear or that SWEET apron drop kick from the floor and looks in the camera like, that's right motherfucker, that shit just happened, all I can think is, this fucking guy is the future!
My point is, it's not always about how sound you are in the ring and how sharp and on point you are with your with your promos. People need to look at wwe like an ass kicking broadway play. You need the right guy to star in it, not the guy with the best speaking voice and best athletic skill. Schwarzenegger is a horrible actor. But are you going to tell me Johnny Depp would be better at playing the terminator? I feel like that's a metaphor for how these stubborn adult males are when it comes to the product sometimes. Hey, I still think dolph ziggler is as good as young Shawn michaels in the ring. I think he's brilliant to watch. But I wouldn't want him starring in Rocky 4. I would rather see roman reigns

Don't let those douchers get to you man.
Rollins has the whole former ROH Champion thing going for him, like Punk, D Bry and Austin Aries, so he is always going to have there backing. Part of that is always going to be is that he was the last champ while Gabe Sapolsky ran ROH. On a personal note, I never thought he was that good on the mic, but he was that good in the ring.
Ambrose has the indy cred going for him, he really tore shit up on the indy scene for like five years before being signed to WWE. Yeah, he's good in the ring and great on the mic.
Roman Reigns has none of those things going for him. If anyone is still stuck on him being the Rocks cousin, they are stupid. Reigns proved like a year ago that while that might have been the initial reason for him being hired, he is his own man in the ring. He just looks like a fierce bastard. Also, none of us know yet what he is capable of on the mic. He just growls "BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD" every now and then. For all we know at this point he's actually the second coming of Austin or Rock on the mic. But like Champ said, when Reigns goes all cold blooded, you can feel that emotion through the TV.
Back to the fans at the Rumble, I do believe we are all in agreement now that D Bry not in the Rumble match itself is not that bad of a thing. The dude took a great ass kicking from Bray, that's it. That was one of the best matches in recent memory. If this board is haunted by WWE creative, thank those two for me.

I guess brays win at the rumble was a win they felt bray needed and Bryan could afford to lose. The only thing I can think is bray must be facing someone big at mania like cena or sheamus. They need him ready for that. Meanwhile, Bryan is in the spot to fight again, which is where he is going to get the crowd support
I don't agree with bray vs cena. He's not ready for that, I still think bray should actually go against a top face at mania, and win too. I feel like sheamus is perfect for that role

That Rumble match was such a let down. I was as deflated as anyone when Bryan didn't appear in the match, then I laughed imagining Rey Mysterio behind the curtain, waiting to come out knowing that for the first time in his life he was going to get Iron Sheik heat and booed out of the building, lol.
Really though, they didn't just drop the ball with this, they tripped over it and landed flat on their face. So much for Batista's big return. He barely had enough gas to finish the match and his big comeback moment turned into something completely different. It's not his fault, but still, the fans simply don't want him right now.
Before I forget, Bryan vs Bray was a fantastic match and I was thrilled to see Bray win. A defeat like that doesn't harm Bryan, but getting a big win at the end of an excellent match really solidified Bray in my eyes as a legitimate and threatening heel. About Bryan though, if they don't change their precious plans and put him on last at WrestleMania I fear for the match or matches that are going to follow him. Having him get the better of Triple H is all fine and good, but Bryan is simply the man right now and most fans want to see their hero win the big one on the biggest stage. For me, and seemingly lots of others, a match with Triple H just isn't going to cut the mustard. The only other alternative that I can think of that would probably fly with the fans would be to have Bryan and the Undertaker tear the house down and steal the show. I'm not hating on Triple H, but a match with Triple H is nowhere near the level of a WWE title match or an Undertaker match at WrestleMania. Triple H just isn't on that level. Even if Bryan knees his head off in the penultimate match, the WWE Title match with Orton and Batista will probably still get pissed on from start to finish. The crowd at WrestleMania will potentially be even more volatile than any of the others we have had recently. There is always a sizeable number of International fans there, fans from the UK and Ireland, Canada, Australia, etc making a lot of noise and I don't think they will be any more understanding than those fans in Ohio or Washington were.
I really think they have some thinking and fixing to do.

I really think they have some thinking and fixing to do. okay I'll give this a go OPTION ACena vs Undertaker to go on last Pros: - You can still do Batista vs Orton and Triple H vs Dan without any wacky heel/face turns. - No matter how much people love Dan right now, nobody is going to boo a Cena vs Undertaker main event Cons: - Sure, you pitch Lesnar vs Sheamus, but you better make it a #1 contender's match, because that was what Lesnar was gunning for. Doesn't make sense for him to drop that just to fight a random. Or you could even do Lesnar vs Bryan and HHH vs Bryan on the same night. - Cena has jobbed the last few PPVs. Hardly ideal lead-in for a match he'll be expected to lose anyway. OPTION BDan vs Triple H to happen early on the show; stipulation being if Dan wins he gets added to the main event Pros: - Well, it solves the problem of everyone wanting Dan to be in the main event. - doesn't interfere with Lesnar vs Undertaker or whatever they're planning with Cena Cons: - If Dan wins the main event, kinda makes Batista look like a chump. Doesn't bother me in particular, but the dude is signed for 2 years. OPTION CBatista heel turn Pros: - say Dan wins the Title in the Chamber, and on Raw Dave is all 'good job, bro' before powerbombing him to oblivion. Triple H comes out with a big burlap sack with a $ sign on which, he gives to Dave and they hug it out - this seems to be the easiest way to fix things without fucking everything else up, but... Cons: - Batista will have to swallow his pride and be the hilarious dick he was when he last left - Dan winning the title BEFORE the big show is kinda anticlimactic - Orton might as well book a stay in Daffney's prison OPTION DCarry on as if nothing is happening, act all surprised when people boo the shit out of Orton/Batista main event Pros: - There are no pros Cons: - This is what is going to happen

Yeah, there is still plenty of time to fix things and plenty possible routes to take. If Batista continues to get booed in the next few weeks I think they will have to seriously think about turning him heel, or at least tweener, and insert Bryan into the main event.
They also potentially have Hulk Hogan up their sleeve. If those Yes! chants become a nuisance then nothing will end them quicker than a blast of Real American and Hulk Hogan striding out with his hand up at his ear.
