So,
Like V mentioned, I think it's awesome that they finally have enough faith in guys like Dan Bryan and CM Punk to turn BOTH Orton and Triple H heel. Apparently Cena is going to be out for a bit with elbow surgery, so Dan and Punk are probably going to be running the show as the top faces for a bit.
I supsected all along that Orton was going to cash in and MAYBE turn heel with Vince. But then it became too obvious so I was shifting my focus to a Christian win and Sandow cash in as the big surprise instead(as you can see that prick Del Rio ruined my perfect game). But I have to say, even though Orton did cash in, I didn't see it coming with Triple H and Orton being in cahoots to screw Dan. So WWE totally swevered me on that one. I'm actually very excited now because they turned 2 guys heel that just do not need to be faces anymore and we have legit younger guys to get behind now.
NOW, for the one thing that did kind of piss me off, and I was happy to have read that is was an issue with some people backstage after the PPV. Why oh WHY was Dan able to survive everything the WWE champion threw at him, but DIED for 30 seconds when a semi retired corporate wrestler hit his finisher on him? The least they could have done was have Dan kick out of the pedigree and then immediately got him set up for an RKO for the win. But that's really more of just a pet peeve issue. I'm still overall really excited at the turn of events and I'm glad Orton is not a fucking wandering face anymore. I'm also happier that this corporate storyline is not going to involve Triple H leading the faces to the promiseland and instead playing the villain. I'm sick of the McMahons all together, but at least they seem to be doing this in a way that's a little more fresh, yet kind of like Evolution has come full circle at the same time.
With all that said, I loved Brock vs. Punk. I realized last night that Brock is a way better worker than I give him credit for. He's not just a big agile guy that does impressive shit. He's good at selling and countering and making his opponent and the match look good. The crowd really gave an assist too. They were so hot for that, Punk and Brock could have taken turns dropping steamy piles of shit on each other and it still would have been somewhat fun.
Same for the Bryan and Cena match. The crowd was red fucking hot. But Cena really couldn't have fucked that match up if he tried lol. All he really had to do was show up, be John Cena against the hottest face of the company, and let Dan play off the crowd and carry the match. The end was SLIGHTLY weak though. I expected a bit more of a climactic finish. When he pinned him I was kind of like, oh that was the finish? But, overall I was really pleased, so I can't really complain.
Sandow and Rhodes match was pretty good. Probably one of the forgettable matches of the night. But the inentions seemed more to make Rhodes look strong and to be taken seriously. My longshot guess is Cody is going to beat Alberto for the world title in the near future and Damien will cash in on Cody. That would be a pretty interesting scenario. I've already expressed my recent decided hatred for Del retard. I just think the guy doesn't deserve to be a 4 time world champion. They keep rewarding him again and again and AGAIN over nothing, it feels like. I already like Sandow better as a top heel. And, even if Cody isn't super over yet, at least Cody chasing Sandow for the world title is....I don't know....FUCKING DIFFERENT!!!
Christian and Del Rio was a good match too. Del Rio has the capability have having good matches with the right people. The problem is he's all around fucking boring!
I liked when Natty and Brie were getting JBL and Cole chants. That goes to show how nobody gives a fuck about the divas anymore and it's the WWE's fault for neglecting the division.
Eva Marie has a hell of a distinct, awesome, sexy look. Like she looks like a star and makes the other divas look like girls. Problem is she's as green as fucking wet summer grass. She looks like she has no idea what to do out there. If she can hone her craft to match her looks, she can have some future....IF
I fucking LOVE the Wyatt family. Their whole creepy hippy rape music, gay rapist trucker Harper, pedo lamb head rowan, and Bray being SO good at the role, I'm honestly digging them more than the Shield right now. They're just so unique and interesting.
Bray vs Kane was as good as it could have been. I expected that match to really just make a gimmick statement more than be an incredible "wrestling match".
Ziggler is the man since he turned face. You can tell he's comfortable and having fun now. Before it was like he was a boy in a mans world trying to hard to be noticed so he can be hated. Now he's the heartbreak Zig. He looks great out there and I look forward to him coming out and doing his thing now.
Lastly, and I can't believe I'm about to say this, for a side note, is anyone else starting to mark out for Ryback now? I fucking wanted the guy to die 3 months ago and now he has me laughing with his recent backstage bully segments. That whole segment with the soup last night was so good.
Ryback: hey, this soup is cold!
Caterer: it's gazpacho it's supposed to be cold
Ryback: yeah?......I knew that. Well, the big guy doesn't like cold soup lol
I feel like they finally found Ryback's niche.
All in all, great show last night and I'm actually kind of excited about WWE again. I was really losing them for a bit. But I can't wait for tonights Raw
