I'm really enjoying insane meathead Ryback. His rambling promo on that ambulance had hints of the great Scott Steiner. Calling the audience fat and going off on tangents. I thought it was cool. One thing I get annoyed with is that too many of the promos these days seem to be too precise and perfectly recited off of a sheet. Ryback looked like he was winging it and it drew me in more because it seemed realer.
On Main Event he showed up in his ambulance again and dragged Heath Slater off and threw him in the back of it. Just because. Lol.
Also, "Ryback Rules" is a far better catchphrase than "Feed me more".

I definitely find ryback more interesting now too. I feel like he finally has substance. I'm still not a "ryback guy" but I'm not really bored or annoyed when he comes out anymore. Pertaining to what MS said they actually removed "feed me more" completely from his theme and that helped my tolerance for ryback greatly. I just hated that phrase.
Also I have to admit, you put the guy in the right situation he's actually not the worst promo guy or in ring worker. His promos on cena have been pretty decent and his match with Dan Bryan was great a few smackdowns ago. I read people saying Dan carried him, which may be true to an extent, but it still takes at least 2 guys to have a good match
Anyhoo, In a nutshell I like bitter normal guy ryback way better than goldback. So this direction for him gets two thumbs up from me

It's weird how much he's lost now, so I don't think the Goldberg comparisons even make any sense now.

I think he fits this current character much better too. The entrance with the ambulance is great. And calling people "puke" and things like that really puts his bully character over the top. He's like the head Jock from Revenge of the Nerds. Who Rules? ![](http://trueslant.com/bobcook/files/2009/08/donald-gibb-ogre-revenge-of-the-nerds-thumb-250x220.jpg) Ryback Ruuuuuuuules!

LOL Ogre rules!
But yeah, that's what I was saying about face Ryback. He was kind of like a bully face. I just couldn't get into it. Now he's a bitter bully heel. It just sells to me much better now. Also, now that Ryback has, dare I say, feelings, it shows he has brains now because he's not just some dumb Neanderthal stomping around, grunting for human food. He actually has us pretty arguable reasons as to why he's bitter too
