TNA Knockout roster, February 2012:
Sarita Winter Tessmacher Gail Kim Mickie James Tara Rosita Madison Rayne Velvet Sky ODB Angelina Love Traci Brooks
TNA Knockout roster, September 2013:
ODB Gail Kim Velvet Sky Tessmacher
Apparently Mickie's contract is up, which is why she jobbed the title to ODB. I think WWE would be crazy not to sign her up, even if it was only a short-term contract. She would plug a pretty big hole until their prospects are ready.
It really is puzzling how they've let their knockout division crumble away (and their tag and X division too, although they do seem to have a number of X guys who pop up reasonably frequently). That was one of the few ways TNA was genuinely different to the E.

Amazingly enough, at the very same time, the divas division is actually making its way out of the toilet and drying off too. This is a perfect time to capitalize on any decent talent not under contract with anyone. This is the first time in years where wwe's diva division is clearly more interesting than tna's

I dunno, they're one injury to AJ away from it going straight back into the toilet. They've got quantity but not a lot of quality.

That's true, but wwe is at least finally making the best out of what they have. If you have one great star and 10 subpar stars, may as well merge it together and make one big act at this point. At least the belt is on the right girl too

I can't argue with that. I suppose when your Ace is so much better than the competition it could be problematic (AJ is Cena and the rest are mostly Chavo Guerreros and Braden Walkers), but on the other hand it's the fucking diva division, so who cares?

I've been saying for a while that the divas needed their own hour. I'll say, reality isn't what came to mind but, apparently this show is a big fucking success. So more power to them. They managed to give a bunch of female Curtis axels a name

I can't watch TNA anymore. I thought I was a good trooper, but the bullshit finally got to me. I just find myself not caring about them.

I'm with that Naitch. I got to that point right around after hogan and sting left. It's not even because they left. It's just the timing. That's when the company kind of started over again and it's pretty much been the worst wrestling tv I've seen in years. I can't even blame any particular wrestler or storyline. It's just the overall production and delivery does nothing for me. It's all over the place. I don't even know where to start with critiquing it. It's at a point where the best thing that could happen is they sell the company or completely restart it with new management and a new name

Sure, it was typical for shitty segment, shitty segment, AJ Styles match, shitty segment shitty segment, Alex Shelley match. The bad has always been fucking atrocious, but the good in ring action used to be great. Now I can great in ring action off Raw. While in TNA they tape 16 months in a row, so out of the 16 months you get like three Austin Aries matches. Add on to the fact they are canning my favorite in ring talents (Styles, Daniels, Kaz) and keeping people that don't do a lot (Spud) it almost just feels like a pointless endeavor.

It's funny, even though AJ was stale, the company definitely feels weird without him. I looked at him as TNAs cena. No matter what was going on and how many wwe guys ran roughshod you always felt like AJ was the face of Tna.
I'm already sick to fucking DEATH of MVP and he hadn't even been around 6 months. Then you got lashley and Kenny king following him around. King is an idiot and lashleys best days are behind him and he wasn't really any good then
I like mr Anderson but Jesus Christ please go SOMEWHERE ELSE and be that guy! He really came into his own. He's good on the mic, he's funny and has a charm. The stuff he did with Sam shaw and going to his moms house had endless possibilities and that's already light years in the past. But right now Anderson is simply a good hand shuffled up in a deck full of jokers(wow I just came up with that right now. I'm proud of myself lol)
Storm had a needed heel turn, for once in tna, and they've done dick with it.
It was so obvious bully was going to turn face after the aces and eights dust finally settled. Oh excuse me, he "character reacted"
EC3 may be good to some people, but to me he's fucking Derek Bateman with a good opportunity
Spud is an ok personality and works well as Dixie's lap dog but I'm already sick of him being in the mix of everything. I hope going through the table was his write off
Magnus is garbage. He may have been the worst champ of all time.
Eric young just does not do it for me as world champ. I get what they're doing rewarding one of the longest lasting guys in the company. It doesn't mean it's good for business. I like Eric young but he's not a world title guy. I'm just being real.
I'm AMUSED by willow and it was an interesting break from Jeff Hardy but, Newsflash, you still have JEFF FUCKING HARDY on your roster and he's a waste! Like I said, I'm not against the willow character. It's not a bad gimmick. I'm thinking of the company from a business standpoint. I would want Jeff Hardy in my spotlight because he's a well known superstar and outshined cena in popularity at one point. He's more than just an asset.
Then you got gunner. Again, a guy I want to like but I have no god damn reason to want to get behind him.
It's tna dangles a carrot in front of you and instead of making you chase it, they yank the carrot away and burn it. Why? At least let us believe there's a shot at getting to the carrot! One thing wwe does is they BUILD stars. Even if it's a failed experiment, they always plant the seeds and give it a chance. Sometimes there's backstage issues we are unaware of on why they pull the plug. But for the most part, They keep the carrot dangling until it's time to execute. Sometimes that time never comes but at least the fucking carrot is always dangling! That's how you eventually make history too

I've never done acid, but everytime I see a Willow promo I double check. I can't see the point of Willow or his goals. It was like they decided to make Willow just to make Willow happen. TNA really doesn't have a reason to suck Hardy's dick, he doesn't really go all out for them, and sometimes he just shows up drugged out of his mind.

But right now Anderson is simply a good hand shuffled up in a deck full of jokers(wow I just came up with that right now. I'm proud of myself lol) LOL. You guys have pretty much covered all the crap that is happening. It might sound stupid, but the first thing I would change would be their arena. The Impact Zone is a constant reminder that they have been a company for over a decade and are no further forward than they were at the beginning. Even if they wrestled in a barn by a swamp in Florida, surrounded by gators and Luke Harpers, I would be happy. Just give us some different visuals and start everything all over again.

Honestly that doesn't sound stupid at all MS. Since I've been in retail and my operations dept is taking on more responsibility of doing planograms(the way we merch stuff) and focusing on minor detail, it's making me realize more and more that whenever you're selling ANY kind of product, these things will make a huge difference.
I actually remember that when wwe was having the war with wwe, I was totally team wwe even though WCW was a better show. One of the big reasons, in hind sight, is because I just liked WWE's production better. You turned on WCW, and even at it's peak, they were always In these dark depressing arenas with shitty lighting. But when you turned on wwe, it was just brighter and more full of life. I always liked the vibe they put out better.
So yeah, I totally agree, new arena and new production is a start. The work that needs to be done following that is a whole other story lol
