Make no mistake. This is different from the real life TNA thread in the general forum. This is something stupid that a tna employee named brother love did in real life.
- Bobby Roode’s contract with TNA Wrestling has expired, according to a report by ProWrestling.Net.
Roode was set to appear at this weekend’s Lockdown fan fest, however was pulled at last minute. Roode hasn’t appeared on TNA television since the Impact tapings in the United Kingdom.
Bruce Prichard mistakenly let the contract expire, and that TNA wasn’t even aware of the situation until Roode brought it up to them.
Roode and Austin Aries are scheduled to defend the Tag Titles against Christopher Daniels & Kazarian and Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez at Lockdown on Sunday, but Roode’s status for the event is in question now.

If that is true then... wow. How is it even possible to not be aware of that? Any other company would fire Prichard for that blunder. Just hire a damn office administrator, Dixie, rather than get "one of the boys" to do it.
I did wonder where Roode was on the last two episodes, I just assumed he had a family thing or a holiday or something.

When he wasn't around for that second week I did begin to wonder if something tna had happened. Especially since Roode and Aries were on a bit of a roll.
I can't say I'm shocked.

More tna real life....the writers scripted the top heroic face that's been fighting the aces and eights invaders from day one to become the president of their faction. Tna is comically stupid at this point...actually it even goes beyond that. I almost feel like they're a wrestling company that fucks with their fans because they can't be THIS STUPID. I mean, can they?

Ooh! ooh! Can I post this here?
TNA have taped more of those PPV-esque specials over the last few days. Including one show that isn't being aired until November. Oh, and that November show features Aces and Eights as a team still. So we've got another 8 months of bikers to look forward to! Yay!
Have I mentioned recently that TNA is stupid? Because TNA is stupid.
Edit: And they've taped a show that won't be airing until February next year!

I've not read much about any of these shows, but are they supposed to tie in with what is going to be happening when they air? So, if A+8s beat Jeff Hardy and The A-Team at a PPV in November, does that mean the weekly Impact shows in November will likely have Hannibal and the boys blowing up the clubhouse, and things such as that? I've not used a very good example but I can't be bothered going back and doing another one.
Anyway, I thought they were likely going to be stand alone shows. So if A+8s are in a November PPV, it isn't to say they will definitely still be around. Even though we all know they definitely will be.
I can't even remember TNA before A+8s. That's how long it feels like this has been going on for.

Before aces and eights I kind of just remember immortal still kind of staggering around but slowly falling apart. Then hogan got back in power and some guy that we never saw again handed hogan the dead mans hand and then this drawn out pain in the ass storyline finally got going a year later. To reveal bully as the leader there was no need to draw it out 9 months. If anything I figured we were going to find out Brooke was behind it. I'm not saying it would've been any better but it might've made more sense being drawn out

Oh yeah, they were flogging that a couple of weeks back. Why would anyone want a Dixie Carter figure?
I wouldn't mind a Claire Lynch figure. With a button on the back where you press it and it says, "Do the right thing A.J.!"

This is just too funny. Hey tna how about building up your product first before putting money into a Dixie carter doll that nobody gives a flying shit about.
Did I ever mention that Dixie carter is stupid? Because Dixie carter is stupid

I just read that AJ Styles' contract is up in September. You know: next month. You'd think they'd want to get that sorted out before giving him a gimmick overhaul and putting him in the BFG Series. And apparently they're not making a lot of effort to re-sign him either.

Speaking of AJ, seeing him come out to the ring with his dark depressed gimmick and music, only for the music to shut off and his old music kicks on and he flips his hood off all excited, just made me laugh. That's something I would've booked when I was 7

Yeah, I laughed at that too. I did think it was pretty cool though, in a very cheesy way.
I think it would be quite telling if TNA didn't keep AJ Styles. They have been releasing quite a lot of wrestlers in recent times. Nobody too important, but letting go of the guy who, probably more than anyone else is the face of TNA, would leave a bit of a hole.

Yeah it's weird, AJ leaving tna would leave a hole but then again, I don't see wwe benefitting much from him. It's almost like tna and AJ both need each other
