I can't believe Cena opened up the show! They got him out of the way immediately

No it was never confirmed V but I can see why you thought that. That match totally looked like it was in the works for this PPV but nothing went further. They half assed this PPV. It wasn't as good as the last 6 months of PPV's they've had which have been surprisingly impressive with the ring work. This PPV was a 2005 flashback of Nickelodeon Bischoff booking. It just came off as a lazy PPV if that makes sense. The matches were all sub-par at best. The best match of the night was probably HBK and Jericho because they were hitting finishers and get false wins which made it more exciting
Cena vs. JBL = sucked. Actually JBL was surprisingly the one that made that match boring with constant restholds. All Cena did the whole match was stay on the defense like he was scripted to and then hit and FU for the win
CM Punk and Kane vs. Miz and Morrison = probably one of the better matches of the night. Miz and Morrison are shockingly impressive these days
Women's triple threat = Best part of the match was when Beth was holding both Mickie and Melina on her shoulder with the back submission. That was impressive. Other than that, typical diva match
Jeff vs. MVP = eh. Seemingly just a Jeff treat for the fans. Nothing fantastic in the match
Trips vs. Orton = They've worked better matches in the past. I'll leave it at that. It didn't suck but they are both capable of much more deliverance
Edge vs. Taker = also seen better
