I got my back fused thursday, turned out the parts on the back that hold everything interlocked was broken off. I had a Broken back for 25 years! Its a good thing I never had a car accident or ejected from a Jet fighter because I would have been paralyzed.

Man, that sounds scary. Is it a genetic thing or did you fall off a ladder 25 years ago or something?

Glad to know you are getting better after what must have been sustained pain and discomfort. You're a tough dude for keeping going with a broken back for all that time. Keep your head up and good luck, SM. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I think its sort of a congenital thing, my Mom got fused the old fashioned way as well as an older brother. I really injured it shoveling deep snow but I think it was a weak spot. I feel great now!

That's awesome that its getting better. I'm almost positive I need back surgery too. My back is just jacked for 13 yrs now. But I heard stories about people getting worse after surgery so I'm worried about getting my disks looked at. I did have 2 that were crushed 4 yrs ago.
Good to know it worked for sm

Before you know it you'll be in car crashes and ejecting from jet fighters like it's nothing!
