Yeah! That's what I meant to say! I feel like such an outlaw typing stuff about wrestling under my pseudonym on a message board!
Seriously though, I think there is a grain of truth in that because Facebock and Twitter require your actual name and details, whereas you still have the anonymity of a user-handle on a message board or chatroom. There's less at stake if you know those dumb aunts aren't seeing your s h i t t y d r a w i n g s.

When social media sites such as Youtube first started it was more or less encouraged or required for a member not to use their real name and details, now it is an essential requirement. It's lame.
Everyone doesn't need to know everything about everyone else, and not that it would matter too much, but yeah, I don't really want it to be public knowledge that I have a Simon Dean action figure. I don't mind if you guys know, but the dumb aunts and everyone else can remain oblivious to such things.
