Well, an attempted sitcom or suspense series. Not sure yet.
Basically, a friend of mine is writer and producer trying to get something to catch on. He has this one sitcom up on youtube called Knuckleheads. I'll either be on the next Knuckleheads or the the first eps of the next overall show he attempts. He was telling me it's a suspense thriller, the next one he was thinking about.
Anyway, this is Knuckleheads. It's actually really funny but it's selective humor.
As a matter of fact, the people who play John, Jack, and Mike/Michelle are all good friends of mine. I was actually on a camping trip with the guys who play John and Jack last month. They're really awesome dudes. John is John's real name and Jack's real name is Ed

Sounds cool. You should have it written into your contract that in each episode your first appearance is met with an Al Bundy pop.

Yeah I'm actually excited about it. My friend Eddie, who writes and produces it, we were on a camping trip in June(we went in June and October with the guys who play John and Jack and some other people) and he was telling me about knuckleheads and I never saw it. So, then he started telling me about a suspense thriller he was thinking about and he asked me if I wanted to be in it. So time went by and I finally checked out Knuckleheads and I talked to him about it yesterday. I said, dude let me know if you still need me to act in one of them. So he told me I'll definitely have a part when he gets the next filming going soon.
3 things I always wanted to experience just 1 time in my life is being on stage playing music in front of a crowd, which I've done plenty of times, be in a wrestling ring, which will NEVER happen lol, and see myself playing a role on a sitcom or show for even just one episode, even if it doesn't take off. So, it should be fun no matter what happens

Two out of three ain't bad. Do you mean just be in a wrestling ring, or have a match in one? If you go to some small wrestling show then they often open the ring up for the fans to come in to buy autographs and stuff. I think you want to give people flying elbow drops from the tope rope though, huh? Me too, lol.

I hope it works out. But if some company buys it, you'll never recognize it for what it is now. Stupid companies.

I wouldn't mind cutting an in ring promo too lol
eh it's cool if it doesn't. I'm just excited to be able to see myself on something that's produced, even if it's just on youtube. Iwould like to do both, the comedy and the suspense. The suspense I could try more cool acting but I'm such a huge fan of comedy and was always curious how I can deliver comedic timing. I would suck doing standup like you do but if someone gives me lines and someone to play off of, I think I can do way better

Champ, you can't compare stand up and acting. Two different things. I couldn't do acting, but I can go up on a stage, pick up a mic and talk about a bleeding cunt. I cannot go and learn some lines and come out, try to follow the directors vision and preform in that manner. Stand up your funny on your own terms, in a sitcom your funny on the terms of a team of writers, other actors, directors, etc. So I guess its more structured.
Also, this thread has given me an idea. If I knew how to get some investors I would start a youtube like site where people could put on there own tv shows. Obviously the better shows would be picked up and thats how the site would get hits, people going to see the early stuff and people wanting to say they were watching some big show before it was big.

I personally would imagine doing standup being WAAAY harder than acting. With acting you get to do it over until the delivery is spot on. With Standup, you gotta be spot on every time you get up there and remember all your material
That's actually a really cool concept because people that are attempting to be have their material seen wouldn't have to go on a site so broad and generalized like youtube itself. People could actually go there to specifically see underground material, kind of like how some websites do with original bands

Because its my material and not another persons mental property. And when I fuck up, make a joke about that. But, different people operate differently. I think for myself, being in front of a camera is not the best idea. Throw a paycheck in front of me and I'll change my tune. And that idea is pretty good. Have a options tab where you can choose genres then a way to rate stuff, pick out the highest rated stuff. Honestly, I just stole most of the layout thats in my head from youporn lol.
