Did anyone else catch this? 30 minutes of hype for Velasquez vs Dos Santos, Dos Santos wins in 64 seconds. Then Dana White spends 10 minutes yelling about how stupid Velasquez is for not trying to take it to the ground on live TV.

no I totally missed that! I didn't even know it was on this weekend. I'm so out of the loop. So Dos Santos won?! Holy shit! Velasquez definitely could've taken Dos Santos lightly ever since he kicked the ever living shit out of Brock Lesnar

I saw the fight, but don't care to listen to Dana White so I didn't see that. I also saw the lightweight fight which I enjoyed.
I don't know what he said, but I've heard enough of him to know he talks rubbish on occasion. Maybe Dana White might want to try and get inside on a tall boxer who can jab his opponents head off before criticising anyone.

Champ- Cain didn't take JDS lightly. It looked like they were trying to feel each other out and JDS landed the luckiest punch ever. It totally destroyed Cain's equilibrium.
MS- It looked like Dana was just pissed because the fight barely went a minute. But goddamn that was an exciting minute.
It was also very easy to overlook Brock Lesnar trying to cut Dana off and give a fighters perspective on the whole thing.

It also looked like he was trying to duck at the same time and kind of lost his balance while getting clipped and JDS just capatalized on him while he was on his ass

It also looked like he was trying to duck at the same time and kind of lost his balance while getting clipped and JDS just capatalized on him while he was on his ass I watched the post fight interviews (they aired on the internet) and Cain said that shot knocked off his equilibrium. So thats why I said that before. And if JDS didn't capitalize at that moment we could very well have seen a different winner. And since I hate Cain's chest tattoo I'm glad JDS won. Words are starting to go round that Dana is pissy because with Cain losing so quickly that hes afraid the UFC will lose the Mexican audience.

Maybe he should just script the title on Cain then like other sports entertainment companies do. WTF does he expect? The guy lost. that's what happens in REAL fights. There's one winner and one loser and Cain lost THAT night

The Mexicans do love their fighting. There was a big boxing match on last saturday also, Manny Pacquiao (Philippines) vs Juan Manuel Marquez (Mexico) were going at it for the third time and the Mexicans were blowing the roof off of that place. When Pacquiao got the nod on a controversial decision the Mexicans went nuts. One thing about the Mexican fans is that even if their guy loses they will continue to support him.
