Reportedly the match between Flair and Sting this week is so poor that it does not belong on TV.

Not a shock really. Flair hasn't been that good since 97 and Sting has been as good as the guy hes working with lately.

It would be funny if they edit it with footage from one of their matches from 15 years ago. Every ten seconds Flair seems to get younger and then age again by thirty years.

LOL Sting's hair is blond and short for a split second. Then it's long and in his face from the crow days

It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting.

I'm sure there was some judicious editing (plus there was a commercial break that could've been strategically timed), but that match was fine.
What was really poor was the run-in-fest at the end, which was a planned part of the match. The superplex should've been the finish.

I want the real Ric Flair damnit! Ric Flair from 20 years ago would be sickened by 2011 Flair

Wrestling Observer is reporting that Ric Flair legitimately suffered an injury to his left arm during the bout, but it has yet to be revealed how serious the injury is.
It's also being reported that the match was heavily edited before it aired on television this past Thursday night.

I guess the problem is that you'd have high expectations of a Sting/Flair match based on the star power. So coming at it from that perspective, the pre-edit match would have seemed bad, but whoever it was reporting blew it out of proportion. This is a company that has no qualms about putting Hernandez and Velvet Sky matches on TV on a regular basis.

I just read that STING missed a few planned spots and he was much to blame for the botched match
