Merry Christmas everyone.
Anyone doing anything?
I'll probably be visiting my grandmother, then my mum's Christmas dinner in the afternoon.
I plan on watching A Christmas Story tomorrow. I usually watch it around Christmas time and haven't got 'round to it yet.

I have to say(and I never say positive shit) but I had a great holiday. Last night I went to my grandmothers with my family and all the Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. We ate great food and, between secret Santa and my grandmother, I got $75 worth of Guitar Center gift cards, a comfortable pair of pajama pants, and $40 cash! My grandmother is so generous though. She's 81 years old, works two jobs, and spends like $100 each on 8 grandkids and 5 children. Then she spends like $50 each on four sons and daughter-in-law. She's the fuckin best.....so caring.
Today, my mother, father, sister and I vegged out all day. I got a dvd player(my old one broke) and the movie "The Stand" from my parents(I'm reading the book so I asked for the movie). They also gave me a a couple of really awesome rocker shirts. Good stage shirts. Then my sister gave me a beard trimming set, which I needed badly. She also got me a blow dryer. That was good thinking too. My hair is as long as Edge's now, if not longer, and I really needed a blow dryer. I would just borrow my mothers if I was in a hurry and didn't want to go out in the cold with a wet head. I never thought to ask for one for Christmas.
My mother picked up a bunch of shit at the supermarket for today. We had egg sandwiches and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, a bunch of appetizers like shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs and stuffed mushrooms for lunch, and steak and salmon for dinner. Then we had brownies and cheesecake. Talk about clogged fuckin arteries. Other then that we hung out and played board games and watched reruns of two and a half men and family guy. It was great. So relaxing

I had a relaxing day too. Nothing to brag about but it seemed perfect.

Xmas was ok here. My Kid got a Yamaha keyboard.
Naitch it looks like I am relocating to Denver. My job is not going anywhere here so I need to move to a bigger center to have opportunities.

Before you move out here let me know what town your planning on moving to and I'll tell you if its a shitty town to move to or not. Some of the suburbs suck and I don't want you moving into those.

I've been in NY my whole life. I'd love to be in a position where I could relocate. But I don't have the balls in some ways either. I'm afraid that I'd get homesick even though a lot of shit pisses me off about living in NY. I like to hit up the city once a month but I don't NEED it in my life like some people around here. I'm like a yankee redneck if anything lol

You should come out to Denver too Champ. You'd love the local music scene. They actually give a shit about talent out here.

SM, I should have said this earlier but I didn't think of it at the time. We own a two bedroom townhouse that we rent out. Its currently vacant if you want to rent it. Its in Commerce City which is about 5 miles north east of Denver. Just an option for you.

You should come out to Denver too Champ. You'd love the local music scene. They actually give a shit about talent out here. New York is so superficial and trendy. They only give a fuck about image and garbage. I'd love to be apart of something where they can actually see where people work hard at what they do and appreciate it. If I got 4 good looking guys together up here with those metro gay half mohawk half spiked hair cuts and put together a 4 chord fruit band, we'd probably take off

The local rock station here does the most awesome talent search here every year. The same band won twice in a row so they have to be pretty good. Anyways it starts off with you sending in a MP3 of a song of your choice. The fans then vote for they're favs online. The 32 with the most votes go on and compete three at a time at local clubs. Once the whittle it down to the last 6 famous musicians now come to Denver to judge for the last two weekends. This year it was Clown from Slipknot and Ivan from Five Finger Death Punch. Once it was last bands they let the fans choose the winner through applause.

My drummer and I just started a heavy project on Monday. I'm doing guitar. Just the 2 of us jammed and we wrote a song. It's much different than Karascene. Heavier.
Karascene is boring me lately Naitch. To be honest with you. I think the problem is it feels like a job where we don't accomplish anything. The shit we've accomplished in the last year we should have done in 3 months. I have to do all the guitar work and bass work. Then I'm responsible for the next guitarist to catch up and he never does. The guy we got in this time seems to be picking up fast. But I don't know how his style fits Karascene. It's just been a royal pain in the ass. I needed that new project to get my head back in the game
