According to Dave Meltzer, tonight's big announcement on TNA is that the company will be moving Impact back to Thursday nights. This is due to the "disastrous" rating from last week.

Thank God! TNA was ruining my Monday and Thursday nights because I already had enough shows on Monday, leaving me with nothing on Thursdays.
This is because I'm still giving TNA a chance and I still try to watch it every week. But Hogan has been nothing but a wrestling inconvenience for me since switching to Mondays. Now at least when I come home from rehearsals on Thursday, I have something to watch again, even though it's not the greatest show to watch these days

It serves them right. Instead of trying to strengthen their show first under Hogan and Bischoff on a Thursday, they jumped straight into a direct competition with RAW and got battered. They should have known they were bringing a blunt knife to a gunfight.

They should have known they were bringing a blunt knife to a gunfight. I remember a few years ago a comet was about to collide into Jupiter, and worried reporters asked Sir Patrick Moore what might happen. He said it would be like shooting peas at a rhino. For some reason this topic reminded me of that. checks wikipediathat was SIXTEEN YEARS AGO oh for fuck sake

And WCW was rocking the ratings 14 years ago. Guess what, Hogan, it isn't 1996 anymore!
The only time you try taking on Monday night RAW is when you actually have the statistics to face them. Shooting peas at a Rhino basically sums it up

LOL
It was such a pathetic tug Cena didn't even feel it. He thought he just had a minor itch on his shoulders every Monday

I have found a moving piece of music to commemorate this sad event in TNA's history:
