That's a good sign if your father's talking to you again. Sometimes we get pissed off with people and lash out. After some time to think about it you realise you probably didn't handle things as well as you meant.
It's not a good idea to give up a bunch of stuff all at once. If you're quitting Vicodin then taking alcohol and 420 in moderation is better than going cold turkey on all three. So don't worry about "cheating".

Good to see progress being made in the Champ household.

Look at the bright side as well Champ. You don't have Dave Grohl's problems.

Thanks man. I gave up something completely and I REALLY cut down on everything else. The 2 beers and the glass of wine I had this week were simply because I was just so on edge
Good for him if coffee is the worst of his problems!

I think we all know the worst of his problems is that he still has to talk to Courtney Love every now and then about Nirvana stuff. That makes anyones problems look weak.

I still wouldn't be surprised if she killed Kurt

Neither would I. Right now my theory on that is, Kurt put a bullet in his brain because it was the only way to get her out.

I honestly do believe when all was said and done that he did it to himself too. Courtney Love doesn't strike me as the type that could pull something like that off and not even get too much questioning about it. If she did it somebody would've known something and put her in a long term trial and she would've been twice as famous

Wasn't Kurt Cobain also a little obsessed with the idea of dying at 27 little a few other rock stars had coincidentally done. I think Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison all died at 27 at it was referred to as some sort of exclusive rock star club. It's an interesting story to consider that he was somehow set up, but I also think he killed himself.

Courtney Love is changing her name back to "Courtney Michelle" and would prefer it if you never ever ask her about Kurt ever again. Good luck with that. Are people actually serious about thinking Courtney killing Kurt? Whenever I heard "Courtney killed Kurt" I always assumed they meant "she was so fucking crazy that she sent him nuts" rather than some elaborate conspiracy. Personally I think it was more of a misery-loves-company deal between those two.

Nah I think he committed suicide as reported. I wouldn't be surprised if she was the heart attack that put him on life support

It is impossible to commit suicide the way he did. To off your self with a shotgun you can't wear shoes as you need a toe to pull the trigger.

Little update for you guys,
The good news is I'm detoxed from pain killers, rarely drinking and smoking 420, and best of all, I'm working out and dieting again after a year!
I worked out twice yesterday. Walked one mile and ran another mile in the early afternoon. I stopped at that because it's been so long and I'm recovering from so many injuries I can't overdo it. Then after dinner, I did a full body workout on the bowflex.
Basically, I'm done bodybuilding. So instead of focusing on killing one or two muscles a days, I'm just hitting off every single muscle and body part in one workout. But I'm only doing one set each. For example, I do one set of benchpress(only like 70lbs because I REALLY have to be careful with my shoulder) about 20 slow reps, stop, take a deep breath, then do it in an incline for for about 10 reps, then decline, then flies, then on to shoulders, and so on etc...It only takes about a half hour.
The cardio and dieting is what I'm most focused on right now. I'm only doing the bowflex workout 3 - 4 days a week, 30 minutes a day simply just to maintain. I still have my size. I just lost a lot of tone. I'm just looking to tighten up and instead of being jacked and 190 - 200lbs, I'm looking to shred down to about 170 - 175lbs. At that weight I should be ripped. But more importantly, I'm doing it for my mental stability.
I gotta tell you guys, if you're ever feeling down on yourselves or feel like you're just turning into a mess or letting yourself go, there's nothing like cardio to bring you out of that funk.....NOTHING! It's the most natural, safest high you can get and it's a high you don't crash from. Weightlifting will boost your confidence in your looks but cardio is the way to go to set your mind straight. It's actually a beautiful thing to be able to do in life. You get healthier, you lose weight, you feel better, you have more energy, and it pulls you out of depression. The greatest thing about cardio is, IT'S FREE!
