And the matches between the Guns and Alcohol Finances are off the charts fantastic. I can't wait for the last three matches (two more on Impact I'm guessing and I don't buy PPVs so I guess the next two matches). I read the spoilers for the next two weeks. Without spoiling anything, all the matches will be on Impact. In fact, next week's episode looks pretty good. This week's episode shouldn't be too bad either. I'll probably have forgotten what happens by then.

That's how I am with TNA. I can read the spoilers and totally forget what happens when it airs anyway

I'll say one thing though, I actually really like Mr Anderson for the first time since the first month of his WWE debut. They finally hit on a funny gimmick.
I L'dMAO when he was talking to Jeff backstage and leaves. Then Jeff goes, what an as$hole
(in the background)YES I AM!!!!

Aye. This show is turning out worse than I remember the spoilers saying. The cage match was quite good. On the other hand, they've decided to over-book TNA's security force. Seriously, security guards are in an angle.
Also in TNA: Eric Young brings a mannequin as back up in his tag match with Orlando Jordan, in an attempt to beat Shannon Moore - and fails. Every single word of that sentence is stupid.
EDIT - Did they really have Kazarian mock the "angry rookies" in the other promotion, only to then have a couple of security guards go toe-to-toe with two of their biggest names? So silly.

I have a question for the big fans of the original ECW on the board. Do you care about this PPV TNA are doing? Or about this angle?
As I didn't watch ECW first time around, the only thing it's doing for me is reminding me that it was five fucking years since WWE did the first One Night Stand. It's making me feel old. Even the tribute show to ECW was five years ago now.
But I figured maybe the old fans might think differently.

I was a pretty big fan of ECW during its run. Do I care about this tribute show? No. ECW has been dead for 9.5 years. Not even the ECW Alumni are really excited about this. Lance Storm and Mikey Whipwreck both turned down the invites before they were even asked.

For me, it's just the wrong time to do it. The TNA fans seem pretty stoked about it so I guess it's working for them. Getting a good look at Raven alone makes me not want to see it

I've never seen an Ultimate-X match before. Is the X always hung that low? Because it seems like you could probably yank it off by jumping or standing on a steel chair to get it. I've enjoyed this best-of-5, but I've got a depressing feeling that they're going to ruin it by overbooking the hell out of the last match.
I found Hogan, Bischoff and Nash yapping about politics pretty funny. I also enjoyed Sting beating people up with a bat. Something else I found funny was Jerry Lynn randomly wandering in to shot to announce "oh hey, I'll be fighting you at the PPV, RVD" and then buggering off again. Great build-up there. Stupid company.
Mike Tenay is awful. Although it does crack me up when Taz points out stupid things, like the ref making the count with the steel chair right in front of him. I've said this before, but somebody needs to tell the TNA writers that pointing out the stupidity of the plot doesn't make it less stupid.
I also enjoyed the Knockouts tag match, before the usual million-things-happening ending. I forgot Hamada was employed. Hopefully Taylor and Hamada winning means we see more Taylor and Hamada. I can't believe (by which I mean I can believe) they're still dragging out this biker chick angle.
I've also decided that Velvet is actually pretty hot, like anyone cares.

I think Velvet is really hot
Taz may be the stupidest person in the world.
Mike he palmed his face like a "spaldine" basketball!
Really Taz?
Jerry Lynn was on Impact last night? Seriously, I must have left the room for a minute. I think I caught a glimpse of him at the end
You must have missed the part where Lacey was in the ring. GOD she's just awful in the ring! She's the worst women's wrestler on tv right now. Even worse than Kelly. But I like Lacey as a character way better. Kelly's still the worst in that way
So TNA brought back Wolfpack Sting and Ecw. I guess some things never change when Hogan and Bischoff run a company

Yeah Champ, Jerry Lynn was on TV for about ten seconds. Thats all the build up RVD and Lynn got. I'm not even trying to exaggerate how long Lynn was on TV either. But if your buying this show thats all the build up RVD vs Lynn really needs. Kind of like Raven and Dreamer doesn't really need a build up. But I won't buy a show for two washed up dudes that can barely move.
So I'm also going to assume we have 5-6 matches still with no build up at all. And thats fucking dumb. WWE even gave us some matches before ONS.

And I just found out Lynn vs RVD is off due to injuries Lynn has. So 1 announced match thats going to happen and 1 thats off. I guess RVD vs Sabu or Rhino can't be too bad.

I guess that's the peril of taping two weeks in advance. It's kinda moot now, but I found you the clip, Champ (it's TNA's official channel, so it's legal). Jerry Lynn enters at 1:44. He exits at 1:54. As Naitch said, he really wasn't exaggerating:
I'd probably find Velvet (and this goes for a few of the knockouts) a lot hotter if she wasn't wearing a shit ton of makeup. I get that it's part of her gimmick, but geez.
Lacey is awful but I find her a lot more tolerable than Kelly because I don't think we're supposed to take her seriously. I mean, Velvet talks to her like she's a pet. Meanwhile Tiffany debuts against the best female wrestler in the company and is immediately presented as a threat. It's okay for wrestlers to be rubbish as long as they are presented as being rubbish.
I only really like Bischoff when he's getting owned. I think they realise that they can't have Bischoff outright turn against Hogan because why wouldn't Hogan just fire him? (Now that I've written that, you just watch them go ahead and fucking try it now). The only way Heel Bischoff makes sense is if Dixie is also a heel and decides to over-rule Hogan. And I don't want to see Heel Dixie. I don't want to see Face Dixie either, for that matter. She can't even pull off a convincing Human-Being Dixie.

Did anyone see it?
That's exactly how I feel. She just sucks to watch against someone like Hamada. But as long as she's a hot doormat, I can accept it
