That's some nice fanwanking there, MasterSnit.
Seriously though, it would be a plausible theory if I didn't think you were giving them too much credit.

I want to like Impact but there are still things bothering me about it.
Little note for Hogan: don't let Jeff script his own talking segments

I forgot already that Impact was on again this Monday. I'll just wait and watch it whenever.

You know, I usually don't give a shit about stuff like this, but TNA's rating went down from 1.0 last Monday to 0.8 this Monday. Also, they lost a crapload of viewers throughout the show and the Main Event - with Jeff - was the lowest-rated part of the show.
That's just horrendously bad no matter how you look at it.

RAW was actually better this week. Austin makes all RAWs better. He said he didn't deliver any stunners because he didn't want to step on anyone's heat leading to mania since it's the biggest PPV of the year.

Seeing as they like to recycle old angles: AJ Styles should be Hogan and Jeff should be Sting. Or, you know, they could do the exact opposite and have Hardy face Styles immediately. And win. God. This company. Again, the first hour or so wasn't horrible, but it ground to a halt once the parade of fossils (Hogan, Sting, Nash, Hall, Jarret) started. It's not as if that Sting/Hogan bit on its own was bad, or if that Nash/Hall bit on its own was bad (in fact, Nash/Hall was fun). It's more that there's way, way, way too many fossil segments/matches on one show. When Nash and Hall were fighting for $25k, Taz said something on the lines of "this wasn't even an official match, so I don't know why there was a referee out here". Pointing out the stupidity of the plot doesn't make it less stupid. Also, during the Daffney match: "I guess Daffney is beautiful if you're into weirdos or pasty goths". Or, you know, if you're into ATTRACTIVE WOMEN. I mean... Jesus. They need to sign Jim Ross, because these two fucking blow.

I can't watch TNA anymore. I enjoyed the product a lot before Hogan and Bischoff came in and Bischoffed the shit out of the company. Now its just a clusterfuck that I can't keep up with. My personal Raw ban is still on until the non wrestling guest hosts go away. I did make an exception for Cheech and Chong (in hopes of Punk). I still have NXT though.

They did that with Angle and samoa Joe when Angle debuted. Angle was the biggest free agent ever to sign with TNA. Samoa Joe was undefeated after an 18 month run with the company, and the fast rising TNA star at the time. So what did they do? At Angle's PPV debuted, he ended Samoa Joe's undefeated streak. They blew a potential very awesome buildup as fast as they possibly could. The only thing they could have done worse was have Jeff Angle come out and beat AJ Joe on tv immediately with no buildup. Good one Hogan
Right, I can't fault the promos as muchs as how many of them there are. It's like Hogan strolled in and only handed a select group of friends talent a microphone and told the whole lockerroom, "only guys I gave microphones to can use them. But if you're lucky, they'll let you borrow it for a segment"
You'll never hear me say Taz is a smart guy. My friend was over here last Monday and we were talking about how stupid Tazz is. But we weren't saying it like, "Taz is a fuckin idiot". We were saying it like, "dude, Taz is literally a stupid human being. He's not a smart person at all"
Even though guys like Striker can be a little dramatic and annoying, WWE still always has the most intelligent announcers. The only one I never understood was....well, Taz! But Taz didn't come off as stupid in WWE because he probably had Vince telling him what to say most of the time in his headset.
I think Hogan is still at a 50/50 point for me. He made some changes for the better but took 2 steps backwards in other areas. I've said before, I think he needs to simply pull his head out of the ass of 1987. He's got the good and bad guy thing down good with the back and forth shit talking, but he's not keeping the product as "current" as it should be. That's what will be the downfall of the Hogan version of Impact
EDIT: You and I posted at the same time Naitch except you hit "post reply" before me so I never got to comment on your post. You just watch NXT, not Smackdown? I think Smackdown is still the best show.
My friend loves the new TNA. I'm totally bored with it already. He said I'm impossible to make happy with wrestling angles in general. That's not true,
I think Cena and Batista is being done just right.
I like Trips and Sheamus's chemistry.
I'm a little disappointed in Edge and Jericho(then again something in the back of my mind told me the angle wouldn't be as good as expected).
Shawn and Taker could have been a little better, but in all fairness, it kind of built itself up.
I like the Tag title unification match.
I like the MITB participants, although I'd rather see Kofi in that match instead of Swagger or Ziggles. I like Swagger and Ziggles better as far as personality, but Kofi is better for that match. I'm actually surprised he's not on the card over those two. I guess one nig is enough for that match in Vince's eyes, and he's going to die anyway
I think TNA is just kind of annoying. You can tell when Hogan digs his claws into something. It's always overdone and he uses the SAME fuckin guys no matter what decade it is

I enjoyed the product a lot before Hogan and Bischoff came in and Bischoffed the shit out of the company. Now its just a clusterfuck that I can't keep up with. LOL! It's true, it's damn true. I've not plucked up the courage to watch last week's Impact yet, but I'll maybe watch it later on. The relentless Hogan and Bischoff segments since they arrived has really bugged me though. I don't even care enough to type out a semi rant on where I think they are going wrong. Blowing their load with Jeff Hardy pinning the world champion in his first match almost says it all.

Smackdown's women's division is booked better than TNA. It took Mickie James months to get her (unwarranted, despicable) revenge on Simply Flawless. Perhaps TNA should take notes.

I'm over a week behind, but I watched last week's show.
Ric Flair can't even get through a promo without having blood pissing out of his forehead.
Also, didn't The Pope win a match at the PPV last month which made him the challenger for the title at this month's (past Sunday) PPV? But it was Abyss vs Styles instead. What happened there?
Eric Bischoff must have the ability to teleport. One second he's in the arena scolding Hogan for threatening to attack sting, then the next he's sneaking up behind Jeff Jarrett backstage and listening to his conversations.
Shannon Moore's promo sucked. I wish TNA would hire me for one day so I could kick his ass.
The Mother Shitty Machine Guns and The Brian Kendrick should be a good team.

I think they were saying that Pope had a guaranteed title shot but didn't say for when. But that's still stupid to do that and give a guy, who didn't really earn it in the storyline, a title shot first
You should have seen Monday's Impact MS. It's becoming more and more unbearable every week. Hogan is making the product too fuckin dramtic.
They did a spot where Morgan kicked Hernandez in the head into the ring post and had the ref throw up the "X". Then after the commercial, you see Hogan asking people to call Hernandez wife while loading him into the ambulance.
If it wasn't a work, they wouldn't have spent 10 - 15 minutes on the segment. But with Hogan, you never know. He'll exploit anything for ratings. They had Homicide come out and check on him too. I only started to get worried because he's got blood on the back of his head and that's why I worried if it got botched.
You know how Hogan likes to make you try to guess, "oh shit, was that a work?". All segments like that do is piss me off. It's NOT going to give Morgan credible heat! The fact that Hernandez is ok is all that matters now. When you take it that far, it goes beyond heel heat for the guy executing the move. It's so stupid. Hogan is really starting to ruin TNA
Oh! I had to come back to this post because I fogot to mention, Eric Bischoff plays the guitar VERY well! He has an aggressive attack and he's on point. I was surprised!

The interpretation I read elsewhere (and it seems like you need an advanced Maths degree, a supercomputer and magic mushrooms to figure out TNA's booking) is that Pope won a title shot at Lockdown, as Destination-X was meant to be an X-division-only PPV.

Ah there ya go. I'm pretty sure Pope's a lock for the title shot at the next PPV. They did refer to him as the number one contender on Impact this past Monday. So I'll give TNA credit for successful continuity exceeding 4 weeks.
I feel like I just gave a gold star to a retarded kid

Then after the commercial, you see Hogan asking people to call Hernandez wife while loading him into the ambulance. I hate it when they do that. I think it's disrespectful to those who have been injured or even died in the ring to have the referees pretend to break character and have everyone sell the angle like it really is a life and death situation. I remember the refs seemed to be doing it on a monthly basis at the PPVs in WWE a couple of years back. It's stupid. I wasn't going to bother watching the PPV from last Sunday but noticed it's on a channel I get tomorrow night, so I'll probably tape it and watch it over the weekend. I can't wait to see Desmond Wolfe job to a hole. Or whatever that was all about.
