Yeah, I was just reading about this, and I agree with your adjudication of this award. I could maybe understand it if the score was like 55-3 with 45 seconds left or something, but 27-3 with 5:26 remaining (when they started the play) in a playoff game? Fuck that shit. You never know what might happen. Crush them like Snitsky's push.

What did they do, walk off before the final whistle?
I read and article and it just said they got humped.

The Cowboys were pissed off that the Vikings were adding insult to injury by going for another touchdown late in the game ("running up the score") when they were already up 27-3. I guess they were "meant" to run out the clock and kick a field goal on 4th down.
It would be like the other team getting pissy about scoring a 5th goal when you're already 4-0 up late in a game of football (soccer).

There is video of one of the Dallas defenders looking for the Vikings's coach and Jarred Allen (Viking) gets this awesome look of "I am going to whip this guys ass all over the damn place". Its funny as hell.

After the score went up 34 - 3, one of the Dallas players started screaming at Farve for rubbing salt in the wound. STFU crybaby

I was sleeping during this game so I missed it. So here is my official stance on running up the score. If you are past middle school there is no such thing as running up the score. In high school and college your trying to impress scouts to advance into the next level. Play hard young men. If your a pro your being paid way to much to run your mouth on this. I can't take sympathy on people who made more this winter then I will in a life time.

I actually think the Jets are taking it all. It's kind of like when the Giant's "didn't stand a chance" against the Pats 2 years ago. The Jets have been playing their asses off and I won't be surprised to see them come out on top

I thought the Giants had a hell of a chance of winning. I don't get the vibe with the Jets with what teams are left. Having to play Indy then the winner of Vikings/Saints is going to be a doosie of a streak for them to overcome.
I also thought the Chargers would beat them so don't listen to me.

For the first time in a couple of seasons didn't finish last! They finished second to last! Baby steps but they're improving.

You have to remember that the Lions pretty much fired everyone from the last couple seasons. They started from scratch this season and for the first time since I can remember are acting like they care.
