As you guys probably know by now Brock kicked the shit out of Mir. I caught the stream and saw the fight and Brock came off totally as a WWE heel. At first I thought it was planned. kind of like Dana White had them go in with a "gimmick" but the fight was still real. Then he told each guy how to cut the promo under both scenarios whether Mir won or Lesnar won. It turns out it was VERY real. Dana White was PISSED. There's a video of Brock apologizing to everyone after the fight.
Basically, Brock refuse to touch gloves at the beginning of the fight, drew a lot of heat and the crowd was clearly behind Mir. The thing that got Brock in trouble, well, thingS that got Brock in trouble was
1. earlier in the day, the media was asking Brock questions and he stood up to walk away and Dana had to whisper into his ear, sit the fuck back down. You're the champ an you better be a pro. So Brock sat back down
2. after he won the fight he started flipping off the crowd. That pissed Dana off
3. He said he was going to drink a coors light and said screw bud light for not paying him . That pissed Dana White off
4. Then he said he's going to get on top of his wife tonight. Then when Mir was about to cut his promo Brock refused to go over and shake hands.
So after all that Dana White yanked him right of the dressing room and basically said, what the fuck is wrong with you? We pride ourselves on being a sport with class. Lesnar immediately admitted to Dana that he was actually embarrassed for behaving like that.
Dana even released a statement saying Brock is a team player and easy to work with and it was very out of character for him. So this is what came of it
Here's the press conference where dana told him to sit his ass back down
Here's the comments he made after the fight
Here's the apology after the fight. I think Lesnar is alright. He's just a crazy competitor and I kind of figured he behaved the way he did because of exactly what he says here

Paul Heyman said the first guy in MMA who would go heel would make killer money. And Lesnar fits that bill. People will pay to watch someone, anyone kick his ass. But appears to be getting better and better and it could be a while before someone gets the better of him. As long as Brock dominates for the next few fights, that eventual loss could be HUGE business.

It was pretty funny.
I didn't know who was going to win. I thought Brock, as he is still inexperienced, might have got caught out again. In the end it was a one-sided mauling.
I think Brock was really embarrassed after his first fight with Mir. He made a silly mistake and lost when he really needed a solid performance to prove the doubters wrong. However, Mir made him look like an amateur and submitted him. After the fight on Saturday, and after avenging that defeat that must have still been eating away at him, even though he had become champion after it, must have been such a load off his shoulders. He just let rip as soon as the mic was pointed at him. Whether intentional or not though, he has drawn lots of publicity. If he keeps up the attitude people will be tuning in to see someone (a face) finally beat him (heel).

That's exactly what got people to become so passionate about wrestling in the 30s. Before they knew it was scripted, people really believed these guys were true assholes and wanted the face to knock them the fuck off

I think we just got our Hardly Boys Clue into finding out Brock is the smartest guy in MMA right now.

Brock is a born success. He's so genetically gifted, so street smart, and when he sees an opportunity he immediately becomes the best at what he does. He's just one of those guys with unlimited potential and he knows it. It kind of makes me sick in a jealous way

I think Brock may still get a lot of shit from his WWE days and he is fed up with it and is taking it back out on the people that hate him just for that.

That's exactly what got people to become so passionate about wrestling in the 30s. Before they knew it was scripted, people really believed these guys were true assholes and wanted the face to knock them the fuck off It is the first rule to getting people interested in an event. If you have someone who the people like going against someone they don't, people will watch in hope of seeing the good guy win. A couple of years back, there were thousands of British fans in Las Vegas and millions watching on TV to see Ricky Hatton box, and hopefully beat Floyd Mayweather. The build up to the fight was spot on, everyone, even the American fans, hated Floyd and were behind the plucky underdog Hatton. The fight was brewed just right so that, although it was always unlikely, people began to think that Hatton was going to knock the cocky son of a pregnant dog out. If it ever happens then I think a Brock Vs Fedor fight could be huge. Brock will always get crap from the MMA fans for his past in "fake" fighting and because he walked into the sport and dominated in such a short space of time. Fedor, although he has never fought in the UFC, is in most peoples eyes the toughest bastard of an MMA fighter on the planet. If Brock keeps up the bad guy attitude, then Fedor would be the good guy that the fans would get behind and pay to see him take Brock down.

Brock vs Fedor would be sick. Just for shits and giggles though I'd love to see Brock vs Kimbo.

Although he was impressive again, I still think that Brock will be beaten again soon enough. His next two or three fights.

Lashley says he can beat Brock! I never thought I'd say this, but Brock is so good at being an asshole and Lashley is so much more entertaining as a fighter than a wrestler, I'd love to see Lashley be the guy to knock off Lesnar if he's that good. If it's a fluke win, then I don't want to see it
Newly signed TNA wrestler Bobby Lashley was interviewed on ESPN Radio on Wednesday and was asked what would happen if he fought UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. After watching Lesnar's fights and studying the holes in his game, Lashley said confidently, "I win."
He elaborated that he wants to fight Lesnar because he's the champ, not necessarily because he's taken a similar path to the world of Mixed Martial Arts.
"I'm not going to say anything bad on Brock because Brock is the champion. My sights are set on Brock and I'm not saying that I want to fight him because he is the wrestling guy," Lashley told ESPN Radio 1050. "I am saying that because I am a heavyweight fighter and he's the heavyweight champ. Eventually, I do want to fight Brock for that title."
Lashley says he already has a game plan in mind to beat Brock, but he won't reveal it before they fight.

Frank Mir had a plan too. We saw how well that went.

LOL Yeah right. The thing is I think Lashley is seriously worthy of facing Brock and I think he can actually do better than Mir did. In the end I see Brock coming out on top. But I definitely wouldn't sell Steroid short

The differences between Mir and Lashley is vast. Mir has always been a fighter. He can KO or submit you. Lashley is mostly a lay and pray type of fella. Unless you come out wearing a Rey Mysterio mask Lashley doesn't seem interested in finishing the fight. Mir on the other hand is to stupid to not and thats when people like Brock fuck him up.
Brock though is way to interested in letting us all know hes a monster and thats what will be his undoing. Lashley might be the best bet just because of his size.
