Former WWE champion John Cena recently lashed out at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in a recent interview with The Sun in the United Kingdom. Cena was quoted as saying the following:
"He is a genuinely nice guy and a fantastic human being. What I kind of get peeved about, and this is my Achilles heel, is that I've wanted to do this my whole life. Rock falls into that category. At one point he loved wrestling and wanted to do this all his life. So explain to me why he can't come back. Simply put it's because he wants to be an actor and there's nothing wrong with that. He's very good and very successful. Associating with sports entertainment doesn't do much for his acting career. I get it. Just don't f*** me around and tell me that you love this. That's the only thing that gets me really p***ed off. Our fan base have so much admiration for him, he's got to respect that. He doesn't give anything back."

Dear Cena,
When you can carry the Rock's jock, then you can complain. You're probably the only guy on the planet who could get a bad match out of the man. Just because his movies make millions and yours, well, suck, doesn't mean you should be jealous. You SHOULD be jealous that he has more charisma in his left pinky and more wrestling ability in his right pinky than you'll ever have. Until you realize that you completely trashed what will be three WM main events in a row, you have no room to talk.
Thank you for your time.

No one complains when someone leaves McDonalds to work at Burger King. Or that Angle left WWE to work for TNA. If Rock is having fun making movies more power to him.

Orrrrrrr When Cena turns heel ~ ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ~ who's gonna be the mystery 5th member of Team WWE vs Team Wall Street Boys at Survivor Series? ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Honestly I think Cena is 100% right. the Rock has a great time making movies...good for him. But stop yanking our damn chains about loving the business and can't even pop up on a Raw a few times a year

Sorry I am with John Cena and Champ. Allright SM lets put it this way. Lets say you leave your job your working right now for a job that pays better and you just have a lot of fun. Is that so bad? Rocky is living the American dream.

Yeah but I am not blowing smoke up the old jobs ass that it was better and how much I miss it. See, I am not a hypocrite like Dwayne.

You could accuse him of being disingenuous. But I don't think he's being a hypocrite. unless you've got some footage of him in his WWF days ragging on some chump jobber for being a pansy-a$$ hollywood wannabee. Then that would be pretty hypocritical. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

He would be a hypocrite of he was at home fixing cars or some crap. But he's making 10x more money than he used to and saving his body. I believe that he does genuinely miss it and still loves it, it's just a big step back.
For example, I loved my old job and working there, but no way in hell i'd go back. That's ridiculous.

Also, it strikes me as odd that Vince was able to find a spare $20m for a boxer to show up for one match. If Cena wants to know why Rock "can't come back" he should be knocking on the boss' office door. I'm pretty sure if Vince stumped up that kind of cash for Rock, then Rock would be doing the dance with Triple-H one last time - and he'd bring in a hell of a lot more PPV buys than Mayweather. Whether you like him or not, Rock's the biggest name in wrestling. Period.
So Rock's being disingenuous (although what can he say?). Vince is the hypocrite.
edit: heh I've got in my head the idea of Triple H and Rock in the ring doing a promo: 'Scorpion King sucked more' 'no, Blade Trinity sucked more'. etc

I don't think Rock is the top name. I could be wrong. Hes defintly top 5 material. I think Rock is number 3 right behind Cena and Austin. But Rock would probably bring in more buys then Mayweather.
