The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online is reporting that tickets for this Sunday's WWE Unforgiven PPV in Cleveland, OH are moving slower than expected. Less than 6,000 tickets are believed to have been sold. Lots of local stations are said to be giving away tickets to boost attendance.
The fans don't give a crap about gimmick matches they want to see grudge matches and feuds.

That's pretty bad. Where is this PPV taking place?

This is what happens when you book a PPV just 2 weeks after the second biggest PPV of the year with three of the same gimmick matches that have no build at all.

I figured that maybe the gimmick matches would have boosted up the sales but like MB said, if there's no buildup no one cares

I really dont sense any interest from the fans in the scrambles. and you dont clone a gimmick match 2 times on the same PPV. You have ONE scramble and other good matchups. This ppv will blow.

Man they better give away some tickets before Sunday. This isn't Survivor Series you can't get away with the same gimmick match for every match.

Unforgiven nowhere near sold out Wrestling generally being in a bit of a down phase? Credit crunch? NFL season starting? Also, You have ONE scramble and other good matchups. This It doesn't help that nobody (except The) has done a good job of explaining the concept. Would it to be too hard to just say "last pin wins"? I also don't know why they're selling lots of title changes in just 20 minutes, when most PPV matches don't finish until 20 minutes, and in this match you've got other guys breaking up pinfall attempts. If anything the champion should be at a massive advantage. oh great, I sound like a backward-ass butt-fucking critic wannabee.

I can't lie. I'm actually looking forward to the scramble matches. It's probably because it's something different and it should be interesting because we'll get to see who wwe really wants to run with the ball right now. So whoever retains in this PPV it's probably safe to say they will remain champion until at least Survivor Series

Holy shit! That is only 2 months away! Aw that sucks. I'm still in July mode. I just got a huge reality check right now. Time is going by so fast it's making me sick. Ok, now that I'm done crying over the shitty winter and 5pm darkness on it's way, let me rephrase that.
So whoever retains in this PPV it's probably safe to say they will remain champion until at least THE ROYAL RUMBLE

I'm still in summer mode too man. I'm still pleasantly surprised at every day under 90 degrees.

I can't stand the thought of Winter being this close. We only have 3 months left in the year. Forget July or summer mode, I feel like it should still be July peroid. It goes faster every year

There did seem to be some empty sections last night. Isn't Cleveland one of the poorest areas in your country? It would make sense that all those people there having their homes repossessed wouldn't be too bothered about going to see wrestling.

I just figured that other cities would come into play. Cleveland isn't the only city allowed to see shows in Cleveland. Where the hell were the fans?
