I have watched it pretty much every week, as well as the PPV's, for probably about 3 years now but I can't any longer. I have finally snapped because of the commentary. Honestly, do Mike Tenay and Alf ever SHUT THE FUCK UP?! I was watching last weeks Impact today and couldn't bare it. I still have a headache now thinking about it. I don't think they inhale or breathe! As soon as one shuts up for a second the other is right in there nattering about the same horse-shit the other was spewing moments earlier. I've had it, I can't watch! There is no time to take anything in. It's just screaming for two hours.
I'm tapping out.

I still enjoy TNA. The in ring action is the best for live TV. And for some reason I love the backstage stuff. Plus, where else are you going to see Alex Shelley these days?

Alf breathes alright you can hear his throaty noises just before he speaks its really annoying. How come it took you this long to realise this MS?

I do like TNA, I just couldn't take it any longer. The first ten minutes or so where Beer money were beating up LAX they just kept shouting and screaming all through the segment. Then it didn't get much better after it. I can't stand Hector Guerrero either, he screams non-stop in Spanish which is worse, and Selinas is an annoying pregnant dog, too. Karen Angle pisses me off too, "You know what, JB?". If I hear that again I'm going to boot a cameraman.
I like most of the other stuff with TNA but Mike Tenay and Alf are constant and I can't take it right now.

I agree with Naitch on the backstage segments and the ring action but I almost feel like TNA tries WAY too hard to go over the top instead of really building stars and making it a well rounded company. And I definitely agree with you MS about the constant screaming and load blowing. It's so fuckin annoying. I always wanted to run over Don west with a semi

The actual matches and promo's by the wrestlers in TNA are good. It's the final produced show that they present to the viewer that sucks. The commentators must be watching Kane's laptop porn on their monitors because they are firing loads left, right and centre. With WWE you actually get time to take in what is happening with each match or segment, but with TNA the volume is turned to 11 for the full show. So unless you are ADD or just took 15 ecstasy's it is hard to actually grasp and enjoy the show.

I couldn't have said it any better MS. That's exactly how I feel about TNA as opposed to WWE.

I could understand it before when they only had one hour and they had to cram everything in, but now they have a 2-hour show every week and there's no need for it.

I think you can blame that on Russo and not the announcers.

Russo comes up with 1 great storyline and now the wrestling business allows him to fuck everything up

I'm not even so sure that one storyline was his. I think it was McMahon's and Russo just happened to play his cards right on the implantation of it. And to tell you the truth in 2008 I'm not even sure which storyline your talking about since hes had so many more shitty ones.
If you can check out some earlier TNA stuff (during the weekly PPV era) you can see they were doing awesome storyline wise without him. AJ Styles vs Raven was booked to perfection. Without Russo. Hell Russo was there at the very very beginning of TNA and they fired him for sucking then. I guess he went and started Ring of Glory and then after that tanked they just decided that he should have 9000 more chances.

It was the one where the Rock was evolving into that huge face run for the first time and then the title was vacant. So there was a tournament at Survivor Series 98 and it turned out the Rock had the Corporation in his pocket the whole time and won the title. They were trying to make it like a second screwjob

If you think back though, that PPV wasn't that great. A 14 man tourney (Taker and Kane got first round byes) that was mostly guys like Gillberg.
Did Russo have anything to do with Val Venis or Steve Austin vs Vince?

He created the Goldust character, apparently. So, if that is true, I can't hate him.
