It's funny because we got a new manager at my store a "few months back" and I'm just getting used to the way he works and it turns out his first day with us was March 1st! I remember that too because I remember we were getting a new manager March 1st last year. But It didn't make sense that he was here a year already. I actually said to him at work just last night, are you here 1 year already?! He laughed and shook his head like, right?! It's like 1 year has become a 6 month waiting period now. It goes faster every year. It's like I can remember being every age up until 22. I feel like after turning around 23 that's when time just started slowly giving me the middle finger. Once I turned 30 it shoved the middle finger up my ass and was like, Oh by the way you're almost 35, in case you're just getting used to being 30. It's like woah slow the fuck down! Lol
Another thing that scared me is, I've been in different bands since I was 15. The band that I played in consistently the longest lasted 3 yrs and 2 months. That was from age 19 to 22. It felt like 3 years in hind site too, a lot of memories and we really grew a lot together as musicians. Now, On the flip side, I've been playing in a metal cover band. I actually have a show with them tonight. I replaced their guitarist so I'm still the "new guy" in the band. Well, it turns out that 3 weeks ago I've officially been in this band 3 years! So that means in 2 months, this will be the longest band I've ever consistently played in. I couldn't fucking believe that! I still kind of feel like I haven't been playing with them that long, yet I'm approaching my longest band timespan with this group of guys. How is that right?

It wasn't my fault. To make up for it MS, here is Scotland winning the World Cup. Lol. I actually felt sorry for the mighty Liechtenstein that day. That game was like the Undertaker beating Kelly Kelly 2-1 in an iron man match with a small package in the last 10 seconds. How about the time when Dundee United humped Rangers 1-0 to win the Scottish Cup in 1994. That's better. I agree that after you get a few years into your twenties the years all just sort of roll into one. I also think of something that happened a few years back before realising it was 2005, then I think, "yeah, a few years ago", then I remember we are in 2014. 2014?! WTF?!
