It's funny because even with those 2 defeats he still deserves a title shot more than anyone in the BFG series

Lol. It's true, it's true.
I think the island sucked up the TV title some time ago. I don't think it is being defended every month, never mind every week.

Speaking of Daffney, she was just in a bad car accident. I think her car flipped over and she landed in water and everything but got out and only had minor injuries. She tweeted about it and said she was ok

Glad she is OK. I haven't heard much about her case against TNA but I still hope she gets some justice with that.

Seeing as this does fit into the topic, I read that Sarita is touring Japan for a few months, having been in Mexico for a while. I've got a feeling I'm never going to see her again, am I? sigh. I just read that Sarita and The Pope both had their contracts expire a few days ago, and weren't renewed. It's kind of crazy what happened to The Pope. Shall we call it the Crimson Syndrome? Because that dude was one of their most over faces, and over the course of... what, two years?... he plummets into total obscurity. Except for a brief appearance in the BFG Series, I literally can't remember a single thing he did in the last year-and-a-half. Sarita would seem to be the perfect hire for WWE if they were thinking of plucking their women's division out of the toilet, and I'm mildly curious to see if they do take her on. I get that she doesn't have that "swimsuit model" look like the Bellas or Kelly Kelly (even though I think she is hotter than all of 'em) but she's plenty hot enough and can put on a half-decent match with a good foil. I mean, they would need to hire 3 or 4 talents to actually restore the division to something credible, but can any of you think of a better person to start with?

I feel both WWE and TNA have wasted opportunities with The Pope. It's strange.
I'd love to see Sarita in WWE. If they intend on giving her the Layla gimmick though, then what's the point?

That's actually true! It's not like Pope is so much worse than guys like Ziggler and Miz. If anything, he's better than Dolph on the mic and just about as good as Miz. He doesn't suck in the ring and he has a lot of charisma. He's definitely not any worse than all 3 members of 3mb, and they managed to make them get noticed. Usually when you have a guy like Pope, you want to try and make it work.
As far as Sarita in WWE, why not? I think just about every chick that's passed through TNA in the last 5 years would be a good fit in WWE, with the exception of maybe Cookie, Lacey Von Erich and So Cal Val. Shit, they could probably make Lacey Von Erich a Kelly Kelly too somehow. What amazes me is how the knockout division is more in the toilet than the diva division now. The knockout division, to me, was one of the reasons I got into Impact in the first place

Oh yeah, the Layla gimmick. Still can't get over what a bizarre waste of talent that is. What amazes me is how the knockout division is more in the toilet than the diva division now. The knockout division, to me, was one of the reasons I got into Impact in the first place Seeing as Rosita has been AWOL for almost a year, the division is now Tara, Gail, Mickie, Tessmacher, ODB, Madison and Velvet. Really lame. Especially as it's now Velvet's turn on the merry-go-round.

divas and knockouts deserve their own show. When you said the "merry-go-round" that's exactly what it is. They're paying all these chicks to be on the road(especially WWE) and only use use like 2 or 3 of them consistently til it gets old then move on to the next one.
Knockout and diva segments are sometimes the higher rated segments. That means....people watch them! There are so many prepubescent teen boys out there just dying to jerkoff to a diva segment. Give them their own hour once a week, get your money's worth out of them, and put the title match on with the PPV that month.
Why is it that I feel like no one sees that giving these divas an hour a week would be beneficial? Maybe there's a side to their business I don't understand. I guess what I really don't understand is why a Wednesday Main Event is more beneficial to the company than a diva hour. The guys will watch and get turned on and the girls will watch and become inspired. The main event concept with profiling 2 guys is a good idea but we see these guys enough every week.
Sorry for going off on the WWE tangent lol

I'm watching this week's Impact right now and realised Suicide has disappeared off the face of the planet again. Remember a few months back they brought him back and were hailing him as an X-Division mega star. Now he's just another TNA wrestler who got pushed nowhere other than the tail section of Oceanic 815.

Hey, remember that German guy that cut one promo, and the big German chick who jobbed in her one and only match? The Smoke Monster wasted little time in sucking them over to Daffney's Island.
With TNA's recent problems and roster cuts Daffney's Island must be getting pretty crowded these days. All those dumped wrestlers will be voting their equivalent on UKIP to keep the few wrestlers left in TNA out.
Actually, I mentioned ODB in the other thread and realised I've not seen her in weeks. I really hope she's not gone.
